| Wow, this episode certainly didn't cut any corners with the blood and gore. Still, it was a nice ending, as all the friends pulled together to help Rena pull through it. I thought that this would be over, since she got rid of those two pricks, but no, Ooishi-san HAD to show up at the end. :D |

| Very emotional... I'm not seeing any connections to the first question arc though except that Rena committed the murders but Keiichi killed her and Rika... Oishi never looked so scary :O "Dooomo." O_O I love the contrast between how happy they are and how they're emotionally talking about friendship when one of them has chopped up two people and hidden them in bags O__O If anyone has ever been within 200m of a higurashi (cicada) you will know how infuriatingly loud they are... |

| I was so happy to see Rena kill Rina. Unlike the firs arc though, Rena hasn't gone insane or anything. I mean she killed Rina in self defense (well she didn't hve to KILL her, she just got a little to into what se was doing) and then she killed the guy because she thought that after killing Rina she didn't care about what she did so she figured she could do it again and get rid of both of her problems. She does have remorse for it though. Which is nice. I actually feel bad for Rena. I thought it was funny though to see them having this deep meaningful friendship discussion when there were chopped up body parts not even 2 feet away. |

| There was some awesome machete action. Sonoko's uncle finally got what he deserved... again. For a second there, i thought that Rena was going to kill Keiichi. There are 3 more episodes, so we might be able to see Mr. Machete again. |
