 Singer Origa passed away on Saturday, supposedly from lung cancer. She was 44 years old. | Absolutely gutted. Ghost In The Shell, and everything associated with it, is a big part of why I am a fan of anime. She's created incredible music and I'm very sad to hear about her death. I know what I'll be listening to today. RIP |

| This news legitimately made me cry. Inner Unverse and Rise are two of my favourite anime songs, if not my all time favourite songs just in general! It may sound cheesy to say she had the voice of an angel, so I'll say her voice was that of a beautiful otherworldly being, too extraordinary for the human ear. And so young too, heartbreaking... Rest in peace, Origa! |

| I woke up with my boyfriend telling me this horrible news. To find that she was only 44 years old is depressing. She still had so many years left to live. I loved how they used both her Japanese and Russian version of Mizu no Madoromi in Fantastic Children. She will be missed. I think I'm going to have to rewatch GITS:SAC and actually finish 2nd GIG now. R.I.P. |

| RIP :'( I never even got around to watching Ghost in the Shell yet I really love those songs... Its sad we won't get to hear her lovely voice make new music, but at least we have the great things she has made. |
