Still, I keep reminding myself not to piss her off. Anyways, another fun episode. Holy shit that arrow. ;.; Wow. Niko.... I think the phrase of 'shit just got real' fit well in this episode. | Wow! This episode was like a grand finale though this was EP 2. I think Soredemo Sekai wa Utsukushii has high-quality, but it is not much popular. I like this story style of nostalgic shoujo anime with an art style of shortly before. I can watch it with very comfortable. And I think Nike are beautiful though Livius and Neil didn't think so. Her personality is also nice. |

The VA seems new-ish...or she just doesn't have many roles yet, but I love her voice :) Although her English pronunciation is good, I didn't think they needed to put English in the lyrics. It kind of took away the feeling/atmosphere of their world. Just a minor complaint. I really liked that scene though when Nike sings to make it rain, and Livi is not only awed but is touched at the same time. |

| I really liked the song. It looks like they only adapted one chapter from the manga. If they continue at this pace of one chapter per episode, I wonder how far they'll go. |

| Loved the OP. The end of the ep was absolutely beautiful :*) Loved the way everything led up to Nike singing and bringing the rain. The animation for when the clouds appeared and how the rain started falling associated with that song was really sending chills down my spine. Really awesome stuff. And Nike is <3 I'm totally loving her character. And she looked so pretty while singing on the top of the tower like that :3 Also how she's not just a damsel. She escaped the prison herself and even took an arrow for Levius. What a BA girl :) Livius is quite the BA too. I'm looking forward to see how Nike will change him ^^ Well nxt ep there's already a lap pillow :P Lucky bastard XD And his mom looked really pretty too ^^ |

| Well, this is still pretty good imo. There were a few things I wasn't happy with this episode but we got some good insight into the king's character and background and they've potentially set the groundwork for some good stuff in the future. Still like Nike, not gonna lie. At first I thought she overreacted on the 'flowers are just flowers' thing, but once she explained why she was upset by his comment I found myself largely agreeing with her. I had totally expected the entire anime to be about her experiencing the new world and not being able to make it rain until the final episode, so the fact that the 'how rain magic works' and the actual first use of it we've seen happened in the same episode was a surprise. It felt a little rushed, too. I kind of want more background on the politics and stuff now, as well. Clearly there are people out to get our boy king, but why? Do they hate him because his mother was lower class? How does the king do as a ruler? Is he well-liked by the populace or is he a tyrant? Were the guys who he locked up and exiled actually guilty or did he just dig himself a bigger hole by imprisoning people who weren't his enemies because he was too mad to investigate thoroughly? It was implied he conquered the world either as a game or out of some sense of bitterness, but is that in fact the case? I don't think what we got is enough to say for certain, for all of these. Lastly, it sure seems like our boy king is starting to like Nike, but in the sense of her being a replacement for his mom. That's creepy, and if this story has too much creep factor to it then I can't see myself enjoying it. |

| i was surprised that nike summoned the rain already in the 2nd episode but i'm glad that she did which made things unpredictable. however, the pacing is kind of rushed which is ironic since madara31 said that they only adapted 1 chapter from the manga. i laughed when nike took that arrow to her arm. that scene was way too over the top |

Nike singing utsukushii even, though the lyrics don't seem like a ritual song, but I don't care I'm liking the anime more now since I thought the anime wasn't as good as the manga and Livi is so cute, awww I feel like I'm a shotacon(I'm underage so that makes it less worse) and Nobunaga Shimazaki makes me like this oresama even more |
| Damn that was a beautiful episode. When the king kid cried... tear formation for me was real. This show just skyrocketed into one of the top shows of the season so far for me, and I'm watching like 20 different shows haha. This season is looking extremely strong across the board. We have intense action shows, mech, good romance, drama, comedy, easy going slice of life, sports. Pretty much every genre this season has a good show! |

| I still don't know how the rain was able to extinguish the flames inside the King's room, but ok. I want to believe that she made clouds and rain even inside the room. Anyway, manga readers, you can spoil me if you want, there will be some NTR in the future? I kinda have this feeling. |

| Nice episode, Nike handld the bratty attitude of the kid way better than I dared to hope, I'm so glad she's not some pushover spineless soft spoken useless main character, I actually really like her so far. I wonder where they'll be going after this since she already summoned the rain he wanted to see? Anyway looking forward to this :) |
| Nike is imprisoned for raising hand on the Sun king. XD The elders sounded like they're perverts.. The way she escaped the prison was cool! Nice usage of her wind power. That dream was a little unclear; but it's implied to be Livius' childhood memory. Nike and Livius are getting along pretty good. :) Damn, she was quite brave there; taking an arrow for him.. This triggers Livius to view the world in a total different way than Nike.. Nike rain display was beautiful! Her song was nice too. :) Livius is quite a lucky guy kid for having her! Next episode: "Chancellor's Decision" |

| I haven't read manga, but I have feeling like that little King is just changed in kid. His voice doesn't fit... I don't know is just to make characters confused like for example: Nike. She hear his voice, so thought he is adult, or maybe he is changed or bad selected seiyuu xD Also Nike said that his eyes aren't like in little kid... I have hope he is changed, because I don't such romance... Well... there is magic in this show, so this is kinda possible, right? ;P |

| Wait.. What? Why did no one say anything about the OP? The OP animation changed! I mean they added the 2 important characters in! No wonder I thought the 1st episode OP is a bit weird, because it's seem like Nike's eyes are looking at someone... So it's make sense now. For the 1st episode, the animators just want to hide their faces until the end of the episode. So from episode 2, they put the real OP. Livius' eyes in that OP is scary. I love this episode. The animation of the clouds, Nike's singing is so beautiful. And Livius at the end.. |

| I believe the age gap between the two is 3-4 years, but no proof of that yet. If you think of their respective ages as 15-16 (she is the youngest princess in her kingdom) and his age as 12-13 it works out. Keeping in mind the different physical maturation rates for males and females (think of the youngest looking boy in a grade eight class, and the most developed girl in a grade eleven class) you can see them being in the strike range for a political arranged marriage. (An example would be Louis XV who at age 16 was married to a woman 7 years his senior.) As to maturity levels, they seem pretty similar although she is very impulsive and he is as cold as ice. | I'm pretty sure the King is 11. I'd say Nike is anywhere from 16~21 though. |
| It seems like Livius is childish and mature at the same time. I don't mind his voice, I actually find it rather fitting for his little body. Nike could always just give him a good ol' spanking if things get out of hand and teach him that their is very beautiful. |

| This episode was awesome! The song was quite beautiful. The king feels like a tsundere >.< a male one that is! I hope his sadist nature from the dark moments of the world would be fixed by Nike. The rain washing away sadness, it really is tender. I will be really looking forward to this starting this now. |

| I really liked the episode but it did seem rushed as other people have said. I'm looking forward to seeing the relationship between Nike and the sun king develop and how he (the sunking) will keep his kingdom in check. |

| The king doesn't have time to think the world is beautiful cause all he sees is bloodshed and he lost his innocence a long time ago. Its like growing up in a wartorn land and at age 13 you pick up a gun and then looking at flowers is not really an option. I have a feeling he planned everything even the fire so he could make it rain. |

| Wow. This anime really took my heart this episode... EDIT: The age gap bugs me a little too, but only because the way they drew the mains. Even if they are only a few years apart, they look vastly different which just makes things awkward.. |

| Opening changed, and it is more sweet. Episode was 1 third fun 1 third sweet and 1 third serious. Anyway Nike is such a good girl, getting the shot for him, trying to soften him. Gonna enjoy how this is gonna be like. |
