^Aside from 2 movie releases , Rurumo v1, Shounen hollywood v1, Ai Mai Mi S2 and Blade Dance v1 you mean? On next week's releases, -The BD for Sailor moon will come out. -The BD/DVD for Akame Ga kill will come out out. -Haikyuu v4 went up by 600 points compared to v3. -Yowamushi pedal v11 went down 800 points after the volume with the drama cd(v10) __________________________________________________________ Next week the first serious estimate thread will go up. Its still to early at the moment. -Sega Hard Girls Hi☆sCoool! Seha Girls - 1.0k It suddenly went up from being ranked lowly to the top 300, but so far it does not seem like it'll get any impressive disc numbers. Really cheap show though. -Cross ange Very strong performance, it spends most of its time in the top 100, and has been in the top 50 for a few days. -Madan no Ou to Vanadis - 3.4k Semi-decent ranking -Gundam - 19.8k Also a very strong performance, it already has over 10k pt., so it also has a headstart over other shows. -Grisaia no Kajitsu Also a strong performance, has a shot at the top 4 of Autumn. -Amagi Brilliant Park - 27.7k Very strong performance on Amazon, but its also heavily amazon biased. So take this estimate with a grain of salt. If I have to be conservative, it'll be overestimated by 50%. But its impossible to know by how it'll be overestimated. 1 strange thing to note is that the DVD estimate is only 370 points, or only 1% of the total(10%-15%~ is normal for male oriented otaku shows). -Tenchi muyou Good rankings for a short. -Gundam : BF Strong perfromance. -Nanatsu no Taizai - 2.4k Estimate of 3.6k if you take the amazon-only underestimation in account. -Log Horzion S2 - 5.9k Better estimate than S1, but it'll probably drop. -Terra Formars -Trinity seven -Ore, Twintails ni Narimasu. -Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete -Denkigai no Honya-san -Gugure! Kokkuri-san -Ookami Shoujo to Kuro Ouji -Daitoshokan no Hitsujikai -Chaika S2 -Sora no Method Doing very poorly in its ranking. By the way, you noted that it's interesting that the DVD estimate for Amagi is low, but aren't low DVD estimates typical for male oriented shows? Maybe not THAT low, but lower than female oriented shows right? Maybe more and more people are transitioning over to Blu Ray from DVD? Possible trend or just an anomaly? |

Errr not exactly unless you're going for full blown over dramatization. This shits dead, this show killed that show and made it obsolete etc. etc. Honestly the whole idolMASTER vs. Love Live thing is so utterly stupid considering they're owned by the same company and they deliberately manufacture this false rivalry between the 765 Produce and u's fanbases to drive up buzz and sales. Meanwhile the two lead characters seiyuu hang out in the same offices at Lantis together congratulating each other and share tweets about how they want to do a crossover. It's plain as day there is no real rivalry. Both fanbases are obsessive, buy multiple copies of the same disc and make shrines to their favorite idol waifus on their birthdays, it's honestly like the same damn exact thing just for some reason angry fanboys refuse to realize it. I kind of can't help but notice that all the shows currently doing well besides the Gundams are visual novel and light novel adaptations of popular source material so.....well except for Cross Ange but IMO that's doing well for different reasons. |

Regular Edition HopeKyoani atleast broke even with Tamako :( Japan once again proving they have sh!t taste :( They should be atleast 5K 17. *1,952 Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance 20. *1,682 Rail Wars! There's a lot of truth to it though I don't see how it can be denied I think it's more the reason that there's hardly anything else worth buying on BD according to Japanese fans, Amagi Brillant Park is below average at best, basically it's nothing too special right now. I kind of can't help but notice that all the shows currently doing well besides the Gundams are visual novel and light novel adaptations of popular source material so..... Idolm@ster is far from dead, and Million Live will kill Love Live not Cinderella Girls (which would most likely match them), Love Live sold insanely well only due to it's marketing, it had marketing from almost every angle an anime could be marketed. Without it, I bet it would've sold only around 25-30k. |

Without it, I bet it would've sold only around 25-30k. Again people on MAL need to get a lot better at that reading comprehension thing and stop reading what they want to read and responding to that instead of what was actually written and argued. MAL is just so brutally bad for this at large. I don't care about peoples whole stupid fake rivalry thing was the entire point of my post cause it's clearly a fake manufactured rivalry by Bandai Namco to drive both properties. Both shows have aggressive marketing and extras targeted at obsessive fan bases. It's. The. Same. Damn. Thing. The fact that so many people remain fooled by this can only be seen as a good thing by the people behind the Bandai Namco idol brands marketing. Clearly they've been very successful at this. Again people READ! Both franchises are owned by the same company. Neither of them is going to kill the other because that would be like Bandai Namco stabbing itself in the back. Open your eyes and pay attention or follow the link I posted of Emi Nitta and Eriko Nakamura standing beside each other in an office at Lantis (the company that makes the music for Love Live and iDOLM@STER) |

rederoin said: -Amagi Brilliant Park - 27.7k Very strong performance on Amazon, but its also heavily amazon biased. I hope you're right about this one |

That pic is quite cute As for the rivalry it's all in good fun, no harm has been done (from what you are saying it's done nothing but good) and really Love Live outselling Idolm@ster hasn't killed my hype in either series nor has it prevented me from supporting either series in one way or another. I do know they are both owned by the same company. You're taking it too seriously, it can be compared to the console wars of old except by one company instead of two. |

Anyway sorry to jump to conclusions in this case but MAL has a habit of being well....I can't really put it any other way than "dumb" about these sorts of things. People really love to buy into the fanboy wars something fierce after all, sometimes within the same series like with the whole Saber vs. Rin thing this season I can't help but notice. |

Shounen Hollywood managed to sell 1k... I thought it wasn't even going to reach 0.5k. Damn, I'm happy, even though these are terrible sales. At least it's split-cour. |
