THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oh, he doesn't know which side to debate, so he just said he doesn't want to save Horizon (actually his side)/quit. He cannot answer the good point about saving Horizon for debate. Interesting "debate". Toori and the blackness that were with Horizon want her, as a politician, to save Horizon, too. "Using of inflation and Horizon not having memory to sacrifice people" vs. "going ahead with improving the world/ world of peace" That guy attacking her and revealing the gender... lol @ Toori! So this is Horizon vs. world of peace? |

Futayo the TonboKiri user !!!!!!!!!!!! next epsidoe Kimi vs Futayo !!! can't wait tilll next episode.I have news that Horizon won't be aired next week.It will aired on 3.12.11. tsubasalover said: So this is Horizon vs. world of peace? All the world is not allow to conquer and fight each other to get Far east because its not written in the testament history. Each world need land and they are desperate. All the world will fight each after the history reenactment is stop. Each of all of them carry one super weapon in its pocket, and thing doesn't look well if they use it just for fighting each other over Far east. Many people will die, thus this is called "Apocalypse" imo. Collecting All those "toys" will prevent "Apocalypse" and this is Motonobu's plan on saving the world ^_^. note:Testament actually read history 100years above, so even thou now the history stop producing, testament still have its remaining authority at hand. There is a time limit of 100year lol |

awesome talks, laying down the motivation and objectives of the faction while justifying their future action. Toori is such a genius utilising the best debater to do the work for him, and relieving the pressure when things got tense. so now the groundwork is done, time to get cracking |

Despite the episode being boring in regards to action, the tremendous talks gave out much background info that is crucial in understanding Masazumi’s point and Toori’s point. Toori reclaimed himself! Naturally since he is my man! Loved Toori in the following, The man got such a nice sniff and look at Masazumi’s private it was amazing while proving she is a girl. While having extra shots in the spoiler What really got me is the end and THAT END! OMG that was totally a surprise! Is it safe to say? Is it? It’s war! War! War! Testament GTFO from the ship and go away! We are going to kick you ass. I was so into it! Lovely! Best is Kiyonari VS Galileo in the following, Now that was amazing! Bravo for the action! Kiyonari’s start in the spoiler I am still WTF at the spoiler That is not even to mention of how Galileo pawned them in the spoiler I did love Toori my man saving Masazumi from Galileo in the spoiler About the preview, very very interesting line up. First of all Toori’s sister fan service? Wonderful, she did not have much anyway. The most I am interested in is in the spoiler BTW I did Image Stitches in the spoiler |

The entire episode was basically a political debate, that's fine, it's a bit weird that the show is trying to be clever, but it was fairly interesting. As for the arguments, there were real debating tactics in there that were appreciable, but the logic used in Seijun's argument "If we can come to an agreement in the future, it doesn't matter if we do whatever we want now" was just retarded. Ah whatever. And what a way to deal with gender identity issues, I was surprised at how maturely they dealt with it. Btw, who the hell are the people in the ED sequence? |

The only problem I have with this anime is the fact that you would assume from toori bring the Main Character that he would be either smarter, stronger or more relevant. The truth is he is none of that I would really like to see him get a more interesting role instead of the role of "comic relief" and either be a tactician or just a straight up badass fighter |

Uhm.. The episode was good and all for me, with the interesting debates and the start of the war, but I'd like to ask this, this series is only 13 episodes right?.. well, assuming that it doesn't have a second season, it's already in episode eight, and Toori still ahsn't showed any signs of fighting yet, can he really fight?.. well, I like his personality, bein g perverted and funny, but in all eight episodes, almost all of his parts were for the comedic part only, he's the main character here, I think he should be fighting the most here. But still, this series is looking good for me. 4/5 for the episode. And Oh, Toori: "Hey, is there anybody here who loves DFC? Here! *Raises Hand* |

This was a very interesting episode i really loved all those arguments. It's a shame that in the end it all turns out that the Catholic church wants to rule everything story again then again this does go hand in hand with history so they aren't of on that part. I liked Masazumi's way of dealing with the Pop using his own words against him at one point. It's a shame that the Pope interrupted her in her speech tho it was very nice and she finally has some confidence. As for the story line it's starting to get really interesting now i wonder how it will turn out. Toori needs a beating for pulling down Masazumi's pants a guy should not behave that way. |

THE DEBATE!!! "I wish to reclaim the emotions that each country stole from her in the form of the Deadly Sin Armaments" LOL Masazumi, you kicked ass there. Not only she freed Musashi from being a criminal but she also turned Musashi into a victim instead. Also lol@ Toori for making his life much easier by using all the questions that were sent to ask him and used them as his weapon to ask Masazumi instead. Now he got his questions answered for him and he didn't have to come up with a question, one stone kills two birds. Aversa said: I think his point was not that. He just wanted to prove that she is a fine girl which was not what the Pope was trying say. The Pope was saying she is neither man or woman, a creepy person and this will make their situation worse by weaken her moral down. His point was trying to make Masazumi regain her confident and stand up and fight again. That said, that action is too much in real life but this is just a show and this is not out of his character to begin with.Yumekichi11 said: Well yes he proved it but still pulling down ones pants is going to far there should be other ways to prove that she is a girl.Aversa said: Euh what? From the utter confusion of the first episodes, we have moved to an almost coherent plot and action. If this keeps up I may have to consider bumping up its rating. What is it about this season and shows that require you to have intimate knowledge of the source LN/VN to understand the action? |

It's more likely that they will remain faithful to the books and leave it open for future adaptations if it turn out to be successful. They will be doing a disservice to both new watchers and LN fans if they decide to do a JC. They are not that incompetent, I hope. At the moment it's going according to the pace of the LN, so just sit back and relax, and hopefully the franchise will remain strong so we can see more of it in the future. |

I thought it was obvious Masazumi is a girl plus shes wearing that white skirt thing. Masazumi really shined this episode, she's brilliant and really stood her ground against that oldfag Pope. Haha Toori is legit, he does something goddamn awesome every frigging episode. He also protects Masazumi, props to this guy. Toori has got to be one of the best and manliest mc in a lonngg time. Good to see Futayo make her decision in supporting Musashi. Shit is getting intense now, war is starting and a fight is already in the way. I wonder if Toori's got any abilities to fight with. Fantastic how this anime is going. Definitely the best of the season (Fate/Zero is pretty damn close, though). Obviously at this point the series is not going to be one cour. I expect it to go into different seasons for sure; no way they can hope to finish the plot they are doing within 5 more episodes. Yet again, I praise all of you who can keep up with this anime, and laugh at all of you who cannot. For those of you who cannot, go watch your moeblobs or Naruto or something brainless like that, because this anime is obviously not for you. That is all. |

Isn't there rumours that this show is a split cour with the second season airing sometime next year? Another brilliant episode, admittedly it was hard to keep up with at points but i was hanging on there every word. It was a great mental exchange between Masazumi and the Pope with both trying to assume the position as the one trying to avoid conflict. The use of Ad hominem was a dirty low blow but Toori was there to help out and diffuse the situation. |

I wouldn't say that it's the best episode ever (mainly due to the lack of emotional involvement like in ep5 :P), but I was highly entertained and intrigued to the debate. never knew that an episode with 98% talks in one place (and not a first ep exposition) could be this interesting |

Pacing and ending-wise, this would be just like Deadman Wonderland. Do things quickly and "end" it haphazardly. And the show's almost always uses stereotypes. The Tropes are just staggering in number, and they're not even always justified. |

Like I'd said above, I highly doubts it since it is still following the pace of the light novel nicely. If it's "rushed" then it's done so according to the pace of volume 1 of the book. Season 2 already been confirmed, so there's no need to rush it. |
