Anime Relations: Yosuga no Sora

This is the eight-hundredth week of using the "Perfect Anime Girl Sheet". Notice: This Blog may contain Unmarked Spoilers.

*We start the blog where the previous one ended, with Topaz and Riri returning home only to find an assy twintailed girl waiting for them.*

Welcome back everyone, and it's certainly a big week this week!

==Head==
===Hair===
Asuho has really beautiful hair, much like her older sister. Dark hair is my favorite type, and hers is black which is especially great. She seems to usually have her hair in twintails, which are great even if I like having hair free more. Length-wise Asuho's hair is fairly long, likely reaching past her ass but it's still shown as twintails allow for that. She also has orange-ish holders at the base, though that may just be due to her clothing choices as a Mii. The hair on the sides is fairly long I imagine, hiding her ears well, and her bangs are pretty good too. No hime cut which would have made her look even better, but still overall Asuho does extremely well with her hair. And being fair as an original girl she can have any hair style, though certainly not short of course.
Grade: A

===Eyes===
Asuho also has incredibly pretty eyes. Like her other immediate family members she has red eyes which stand out well with her fantastic black hair, a great combination which looks gorgeous. While her eye shape isn't as designated I imagine that she has tsurime as it would make her look even more dominant. A nice mix of dominance and cuteness I'd say. Sadly unlike with Hiroko Asuho doesn't officially wear glasses, and while it would be easy for me to say she does as she's original I wouldn't feel right exploiting that fact. It is her only flaw in this area. As such, overall Asuho does really well with her beautiful red eyes.
Grade: B+

===Face==
Again I'll have to say that Asuho is fairly simple when it comes to this area. She looks however Zettai wants her to, and that means flawless skin and a fairly simple design. She has a small nose and cute features. I would say that she seems a little grumpy due to her inferiority complex, but that still isn't too bad. Overall Asuho is cute, beautiful, and all sorts of adjectives for her face (and overall appearance) even if there isn't too much to talk about.
Grade: A-

: Hmmm, it would appear that I'm doing quite well at the moment.

Of course! Were you expecting that you'd do something bad?

: I am not sure. I was just expecting to get lower. After all, so many people prefer Oneesama to me...

I mean only Zettai and myself really know about you. Even if he does prefer her don't think that doesn't mean he dislikes you. You're still one of his harem girls and one of the first ones made!

: Then again we shouldn't be surprised. You're part of his family after all, and live with him.

: You'd be surprised by how many girls live with us that aren't family members. Not that we mind, as they help out around the house. But I still enjoy the praise.

And what praise you deserve! After all, you have wondrous hair, with a beautiful black color like the other members of your family. It goes really well with your red eyes too. I will say that one issue is your twintails.

Oh, I agree with that. I do prefer hair being down, but you still look extremely good with your twintails. In all fairness calling it an “issue” makes it seem more serious. I will also say that I'm not sure of how your bangs go either.

I mean sure, at the moment, but I can't count that for the blog any more than I can count your growing ass.

Well you'd do better with a hime cut. I know you might have that sort of bangs, but I'm unsure about all the various details other than the color, style, and length. Still, you do fantastic and even the minor issues barely affect your score.

: I suppose that makes sense, as I did do really well when it comes to my hair.

: Just imagine if you had cat ears, as you'd be Azu-nyan! (I blame Topaz's knowledge for that old reference.)

: Though I wonder why I did poorly for my eyes. This must be your bias against red eyes!

Even if I did I wouldn't mock your beautiful eyes! Zettai worked hard to create them, and I did my best with the various programs!

True that you both have such good eye shapes, as they're whatever Zettai wants. But the main difference is that Hiroko occasionally wears glasses! Beautiful thick-framed red ones that go well with her eyes!

: I understand... But that doesn't mean I have to enjoy it! I can't believe that even in this blog I have to be under Hiroko!

I apologize for that! But do know that you still look grea-

: I don't care! You have no idea what it's like always coming behind her!

I'll try not to, and even if I do know that it won't take anything away from you. And as for your face, do know that while have a simple face I do enjoy that. I also like your dot nose, as unlike with Topaz's harem all the girls have small noses but in Zettai's the older girls have bigger ones.

: And ironically Topaz's girls aren't the ones that smell strong.

Nice point. But do know that your soft curves and nice features are quite good too.

==Body==
===Build===
Asuho has measurements, which isn't much of a surprise. She's on the shorter teen side, with a height of 148 cm and weighs 49 kg. Her three sizes are 72-52-105 which gives her a delightful pear shape. Her bottom-heavy body is of course perfect, and fits with being a loliteen meaning he age. She of course shows off her ass well, being far bigger than a lot of anime characters even if within Zettai's harem Asuho is on the “smaller” side due to being a loliteen. Her waist also looks good, and with her flat chest her huge cheeks are even more emphasized. I'd say the only issue I have is personal, as like many in the harem Asuho is quite a... “powderkeg”. What I mean is that her fat ass is sensitive and quite gassy, and I'm not too fond of foul odors like that. It is appealing to Zettai and there's nothing wrong with that as a result. Still, Asuho overall is quite superb and more anime girls need to not only be as assy but as proud as she is of it.
Grade: B+

===Chest===
This is another area where Asuho is quite proud. Her chest size is 72A, which is a great flat size and she's proud of it like the other harem girls. She shows off her ass far more too, which is a lot larger as you can tell by the measurements. While it doesn't matter I would have to assume that she can show off her nipples too, but I don't have too much data on that. Overall Asuho doesn't have much to talk about when it comes to this area, but her small size is quite good.
Grade: B

===Clothes===
Being fair Asuho is a custom character which means she can be put into any sort of outfit. One of the benefits about being self-created (or so). Her school uniform is very gym outfit-themed, meaning she has a red buruma-like bottom that shows off her incredible fat ass. As a big fan of Toku entertainment I imagine she likes the heroic bodysuits, which are likely tight against her big jiggly ass too. While Hiroko tends to be more well-known as a miko I'm sure Asuho wears the outfit at least occasionally, and I imagine she has a lot of other outfits. Both ass-showing/focused and other outfits that Zettai likes. As a result Asuho overall gets a perfect mark here! Sure it may be taking advantage of her being a custom girl, but regardless the possibilities are endless!
Grade: A+

But of course! You deserve it, as you can be put in any sort of outfit! That's one of the benefits of being a custom character.

Shhh... But in all seriousness you have a lot of great outfits as mentioned. Your school uniform with red buruma-like bottom is great, as are your Toku bodysuits and miko outfits. You would also dress up in various outfits for your Oniisama as well.

: But of course, especially if I want to tease him with my huge ass!

And such a huge ass it is, ASSuho!

*Asuho turns around, nearly knocking Topaz over. Her huge cheeks ripple and look soft and plump, even moreso than usual.*

: It sure is! If it counted I'd do even better, as my ass is likely bigger than I am tall now!

Certainly as big female asses are always good! And even her base Asuho has a wondrous pear-shaped teenage body. Perfect for Zettai's tastes!

I agree with that, as it's certainly a niche that needs filling. No naughty pun intended. I will say that the smell isn't something I'd be into, but again you're perfect for him!

===Personality==
Asuho is very likable girl though that's no surprise considering she was created for Zettai's harem. She's one of the first members as well, being his youngest sister. She's the youngest of three children as a result, even if she looks her age unlike Zettai and Hiroko. She's fairly smart, though not as much as Hiroko's talent so Asuho tends to be a little jealous and has an inferiority complex towards her older sister. Still, she is sociable and friendly, with Ran being one of them though I'm sure she's friends with many members in that group. Due to her family's experiments Asuho also has had some time as a giantess, and that mixed with being saved by the local hero Yuuna gave her an appreciation for acting. She likes Toku series in particular, as like a lot of his members she appreciates hot-blooded action, spirit, and justice. While I don't have a lot of information exactly, Asuho overall is an amazing character much like the person she was created for. Asuho is voiced by Yui Ogura, at least that's who we would want to voice her, with her cosplay being Hinata Hakamada from Ro-Kyu-Bu! but other big roles she's done includes Kokona from Yama No Susume, Yunoha from Aquarion EVOL, and likely many more great characters too.
Grade: A-

===Libido==
Asuho has a very strong libido, even if it's single-target. You see, much like Hiroko Asuho is deeply devoted to her Oniisama, meaning her older brother Zettai. They have a lot of very sexy anal fun, with a lot of gas and while the latter isn't my taste he loves it (both Zettai's) and that's what's important. She does have to share him with the ever-expanding harem, and while there's nothing wrong with that I imagine it does give Asuho less time to play with him herself. She will also intentionally forget books in order to sit on his lap to read too, teasing him with her huge ass. Overall Asuho of course does well here as she's an excellent lover and sister, the incest being the spice that makes their relationship even sexier.
Grade: A

===Age===
As fitting of Zettai's taste Asuho is a fourteen year old girl. Her birthday is November 3rd, and even if she's the youngest she isn't as stunted as Hiroko so she looks older and about Zettai's (visual) age. It's a good age and she's a middle school girl, but I do prefer older girls if only slightly. Still, overall Asuho does quite well here.

==Head==
===Hair===
Ran's hair is one of her greatest assets, and is likely a big factor in how beautiful she is. It's a very lovely brown color, which is one of my favorite colors with a somewhat dark shade and her length is really nice too. Granted the long length does mean that if Ran had buttshots they'd possibly be covered, but she's in a show for young girls so that's not too much of a problem. As mentioned before in Aikatsu blogs the hair movement looks really great and she's no exception, showing off well due to how long and free her hair is. Even while exercising with a ponytail she looks great, and it's understandable as she doesn't want her hair to get in the way (and she still performs with it down). Her sides are pretty nice, and while her bangs are a nice length she does have her hair parted on the left. It's somewhat high, but when that's her only flaw you can see that Ran has really excellent hair. The length, color, animation... Overall Ran is amazing here, and with better bangs she could have easily obtained a perfect score!
Grade: A

===Eyes===
This is another area where Ran excels, as her eyes are absolutely beautiful. Much like her hair they're a great color for me, being a purple shade and on the darker side I think. Her eyes are somewhat tsurime, with a bit of a curve to make sure she's not too mean-looking for a young girl's anime. The shape of her eyes are emphasized a little by her corners which look good, and she even has some eyelashes as well. You can even see a little bit of Ran's upper lid, or at least some sort of line above her eye (not her eyebrow, closer to her eye). She also has some fun expressions, which always help out. While Ran isn't a permanent meganekko, as it took a while for Aikatsu to add one (especially one that wears her glasses even during performances), she does wear them on occasion while in her civilian disguise. While it might be based on actual idols IRL, she was one of the first I saw that really showed that off so I want to think that she started the trend. I suppose I might be a little generous, but Ran has really nice thick black frames like with Aoi (though I think Aoi wears hers more). Overall Ran has really amazing eyes, be it the shape and color that she did really well. Wearing glasses occasionally of course helps too.
Grade: B+

===Face==
Like a lot of Aikatsu girls Ran has an amazing face, as I really love the art style. The facial features are minimal and soft-looking, with Ran having a small dot-like nose and very nice curves for her cheeks. It's just a soft, gentle design. As she's more of the straight man at times she has a fun “exasperated” face but in general her expressions are great too. I especially appreciate her cute smile, and while there isn't a lot to talk about in this area (especially since I've done a lot of Aikatsu idols) do know that Ran's head is certainly beautiful and that includes her face.
Grade: A

But of course! You're extremely beautiful after all! Granted you don't stand out among the other Aikatsu girls, other than your long hair and eye color, but that isn't a bad thing as I enjoy the art style.

They are nice thick-framed ones, but sadly you don't wear them enough to be memorable. It's a shame, but don't feel bad. Your eyes are still stellar, even with only wearing glasses on occasion. You totally would have done better, but Yurika and Aoi are more known for wearing glasses.

That it does. Your hair helps as well. I love the beautiful brown color, and keeping it down looks very pretty too. The length is really great, and Aikatsu does its motion really well. Even when it's up for variety's sake it looks good!

That it isn't! Even if you bangs could do a little better they look extremely good and fit well with you. In general you certainly live up to the name of “beautiful blade”!

===Build===
Ran doesn't just have beauty in her face, as her body is quite great as well. Her only measurements are her height, which isn't too surprising considering this is a show for kids, but as the series goes on she grows from 158 cm to 163, which is a pretty good height. She also has a pretty good hourglass build, even if we don't see too much of it. Well, we do see her waist in some outfits and she does have a beautiful navel and curves, but this is still a show for young girls. She is tall like a lot of models and her slender figure is quite good as well. She really doesn't show off her ass too much, though we do get a few moments with her training. Raichi also takes a few pictures of her ass, though she's wearing clothes at the time (kid's show remember). Overall while there's not much to say as Ran doesn't show off too much, it's a show for young girls so we shouldn't expect too much. She does still have a nice slender body, and while she doesn't get a memorable shot like Yurika did Ran still looks quite attractive.
Grade: B

===Chest===
As mentioned before Ran is fairly slender. She also starts out in middle school so that isn't a surprise, and despite aging up she stays relatively the same throughout. She also doesn't show off either, though this is also a show for young girls as I've brought up before so that isn't surprising. Overall Ran does really well when it comes to this area even if there isn't too much to mention but go her regardless.
Grade: B+

===Clothes===
As an idol Ran has quite the variety when it comes to clothes, and as I saw this series some time ago there's a good chance that I'm forgetting something. Still, she's got a lot of great outfits, including her school uniform. Ran usually wears the Starlight uniform which consists of a blue blazer over a white shirt, red ribbons, and sadly low socks as thighhighs or pantyhose would have looked better. She also wears a training exercise outfit that's white with purple due to it being her character color, and likely many idol clothes and causal outfits. Special mention to her brand being “Spicy Ageha” as it really shows off Ran as a “sexy”-style idol. It has great dark colors and fits her really well, and as her aura is butterflies it works well with her too. She also dresses like Aladdin at one point too. Overall while I didn't go too in-depth do know that Ran has a lot of cool outfits, though more could have always helped, but I do like her brand and even her uniform is cute.
Grade: B+

I agree! I mean I get some of it being due to parent groups, but at least they were quieter back then! You at least did get a few moments, which is more than a lot of other characters in series for young girls get. You just needed a few more memorable scenes.

===Personality==
Ran starts out as a serious tsundere idol, not really working well with others. As she starts spending time with others she starts to learn to work together, and she isn't as big of a rival as she joins the main cast. She had a friend join the school but couldn't keep up with her, so she ends up aloof after said friend leaves. Having the main cast join is a downfall though as she starts getting picked on by the writers and even though she enters a lot of competitions she is forced to do poorly even though the performances are completely arbitrary. She does eventually join Tristar, but leaves to form a group with Aoi and Ichigo meaning Soliel. That helped her out quite a bit as she uses Ichigo's protagonist powers to her advantage. It's a shame that she doesn't do as well as she should before that though. She's a little tsundere, and is a straight man as mentioned before. Ran also likes healthy food like vegetable sticks and yogurt but dislikes fish as she doesn't like taking out the bones. She's called a “demon coach” as she works people hard, though that's due to all the hard work she's had to put in prior to the series starting. She is also a really big fan of Ebi-pon, which is a mascot character in the series, even hugging someone in a costume. Overall Ran is a great TDB with an aloof nature, and she probably would have done better had she not been unfortunately punished so much early on before joining Soliel.
Grade: B+

===Libido==
As this is an idol show and one for young girls Ran really doesn't get a lot of opportunity for romance. That is, at straight romance at least. The closest thing that I can think of is Raichi taking pictures of her including a buttshot, cool that she doesn't mind posing for him. However, yuri romance is still on the table, especially as far as the fans are concerned. The one that Ran usually gets paired with is Yurika, due to the duo doing a lot of things together and working off one another quite well. Sora's appearance also lead to some rivalry between the two girls, both being long-haired beauties (Sora even mentions that she fell in love with Ran on stage). Aoi and Otome have their shipping fans as well. I'll also mention that people usually have Ran be the one leading with both Yurika and Sora, which is always helpful, and it seems she has a lot of female admirers even if they aren't named. While one might have expected me to be a little rough with Ran she does quite well when it comes to this area. Though I do think some of that is thanks to the fans.
Grade: B-

===Age===
Surprisingly Ran ages through the series! Well, I suppose it isn't surprising as she's not the only Aikatsu girl, that would be silly, and Zettai said the same thing in his blog of her, but still. Regardless the series is long-airing as Ran starts out the series at 13 and ages up to 17. Though it's mostly a background thing as I don't think she changes too much, or maybe the changes were so minor that it wasn't obvious watching the show. She does have most of her screentime in middle school which helps, and her relationships are about the same age as well. And of course, unlike a certain show hog pink Ran also has a great birthday of August 3rd which she deserves. Overall Ran is a great age and while she does age as the series goes on she doesn't change in any major design way and still looks the same as when she started.
Grade: B

You kept losing and in dumb ways, making Ichigo seem more like a Poochie Sue than ever before. At least they started to remedy it by the time you were able to join Tristar and Soleil, which helps. You're also a great experienced girl, like an older sister even if you are the same age as the others.

===Hair===
As an ojou Cecilia has the appropriate hair, meaning curly and blonde. It looks really good, though I do like the more pale versions that MAL has in other pictures and was used in the anime I think. Regardless her hair is really great, even if it is long enough to cover her ass slightly. I like how Cecilia's sidetails have ojou curls and they're long enough to go past her chest, and she also has a couple of curls in back as well. Sadly the ones in back are fairly low and short, so they aren't as noticeable. Her bangs are quite lovely, being long enough to reach about to her eyes with a long middle portion. And of course we can't forget her lovely hairband either! Overall while she could use bigger curls Cecilia still has brilliant hair for an ojou and the blonde color helps out a fair amount even if I do prefer darker colors.

===Eyes===
Cecilia has some very nice eyes. As mentioned before she is an ojou and as she is from Britain she has blue eyes. I don't get why Japan thinks the UK is America-lite and gives them all blonde hair and blue eyes, but she fits that stereotype. Fortunately while blonde hair and blue eyes is overrated Cecilia at least has a reason for it, and it looks good with her foreign ojou personality. Her eyes seem to be mostly tarame, with a little tsurime but not much. She does have fairly long eyelashes but I do like her corners and how emphasized they are. She has slight lines over her eyes, and sadly I do not think that she wears glasses in the series (at least as far as I can remember though there is the official image of her dressed as a teacher at least). Still, overall Cecilia does pretty well and it's helped by not many characters having blue eyes in the series (though there are still some) and the shape and color suiting her ojou side.
Grade: B-

===Face===
Cecilia has a very beautiful face, as I like the art style IS had. A shame that the series isn't as good as she deserves, but do know that she does well here. She has a mostly small nose and the shape of her chin is a little pointed but nothing too troubling. I like the simple design that isn't too detailed, and the curve of her cheeks are done quite well too. Overall there isn't a lot to say about Cecilia here, she is very lovely but doesn't stand out too much from the other girls in her series. Not that there's anything wrong with that, as she still does quite well.
Grade: B

===Build===
Sadly the only measurement that I could find about Cecilia is that her height is 156 cm. A fair size but not particularly tall either, and I did see someone say that her three sizes are 85/54/86 but I cannot find where those numbers come from so they might be made up (though good for them making her assier, if only at the bare minimum). She does have a really curvy body though, which helps out quite a bit. Her lower half is good in particular, with her fairly shapely legs. But she is very much the ass girl of the series, despite the studio trying to hide it from fans. She had a really good scene in the first season which made her look assy, and she got a lot of great ass fan art. Sadly Cecilia's official art wasn't as assy, and she got less moments in the series which is also unfortunate. Her official art took years to get an ass shot, and even then she was losing her top which is really dumb as it's as if they are trying to hide the fact that she's the ass girl. Or maybe it's to do with how much the series trolls her (and Lingyin as well) which is unfortunate. She even had a nickname of CeSHIRIa and while she could become a lot bigger she is one of the first noticeable member of sniper girls being assy (granted Shizuru from Godannar was the first, but Cecilia is more "modern" and may have started the trend). There is also a nice moment in the World Purge OVA where in her dream world she has Ichika not only fondle her ass but compliment it on becoming bigger! It's always great to see bigger female asses getting complimented, and Cecilia overall does really well despite the official art having so many issues as she deserves better! Especially her fat ojou ass!

===Chest===
As mentioned earlier despite being an ass girl Cecilia gets trolled pretty hard. She's pretty busty, though as far as the girls go Houki is bigger despite being a broom. Officially she has too many mamocentric scenes and as mentioned before she gets trolled far too much too. She does show her bare chest though her nipples are somewhat covered by her hair curls so boo cover hair being forced. It's a shame that Cecilia has so many issues here as she deserves better, and overall she deserves to show off her fat ass more instead! Leave chest scenes to the other girls (or remove them), at least without taking their ass scenes.

===Clothes===
This is one area where Cecilia really shows off thanks to all the great (and not so great) outfits she has. The main one is the school uniform which consists of a military-like outfit with a white dress with red bits and black frills around the collar, cuffs, and trim. She has a longer skirt than the other girls it seems, and she also wears what appear to be pantyhose but upon further looking are leggings which are sorta meh. Pantyhose just aren't the same without the feet part, even if I'm not into feet. Cecilia's IS uniform is better, as not only does it look like a sukumizu with the basic shape but the blue color matches as well. She also wears a blue bikini though sadly with a pareo and it's not like it's removed to show a thong or gets blasted off with a fart or something either. Pareos should be banned. She also wears cute dresses including a wedding one which is always nice, and we can't forget her sexy bunny outfit which is blue to match her character color as well. She even wears proper pantyhose to be even better! Other outfits include pajamas (both the proper and nightgown varieties), a maid, a teacher, a sheep bikini, a horny succubus, miko, nurse, and multiple Santa outfits. The official art certainly helps, even if once again she gets sadly trolled and should show her fat ass off more and more often! She could use a lot more ass-focused outfits too, but she still does quite well when it comes to variety. Overall Cecilia is helped by a certain amount of tight sexy outfits like the bunny suit and IS uniform, and a shame for the more mamocentric and problematic ones too!

Cecilia has a surprisingly sad background as while she is an ojou she is also an orphan. She is a transfer student from Britain and is a talented girl in addition to being extremely rich. She is trying hard to make her late parents happy and prove how great her family's IS can be as well as defending her family's money from others. She also wants to repay them, as apparently later light novels also mention that the reason they were killed is due to being executed for treason due to needing a core to help Cecilia's heart problem or something similar. That said the anime cuts a lot of that out and pushes it to the side, which is really unfortunate as it also does the same with Cecilia. It's a shame as she's such a good, hard-working girl that deserved more fair treatment like Lingyin needs as well! Cecilia has a wonderful noble personality including using ojou speech, which is great and she even uses "desu wa" it seems too. It's unfortunate that she's a bad cook, not just because it is a terrible and overused trope but because it's also making fun of British cooking as well. Her IS is called the Blue Tears and specializes in sniping and using funnels to attack from multiple angles. Cecilia is voiced by Yukane who does a really great job with her, doing her proper speech very well. She's done other girls such as C.C. from Geass, Teletha from Full Metal Panic, Kazehana from Sekirei, and even Honoka from the original PreCure. Overall Cecilia is a really great character though I wish a lot of her development wasn't either cut out or put later in the non-animated portions as she deserves better. She's a great noble lady and works hard for her family, and being an assy sniper at the same time doesn't hurt either!

===Libido==
Cecilia does quite well in this area, though it is helpful that most of the girls in the series are a little aggressive. Granted they could always be better, especially with the background of the series stating that women were dominant and in control, but at least it's an improvement over a lot of series these days. Hopefully bullying series stop soon... Regardless Cecilia is a really great girl and appeals in various sexy ways which includes asking the lead to oil her back with her ass taking up a good amount of the screen and wearing bunny cosplay as mentioned earlier. Her (late) father wants her to marry a strong man, but it's unfortunate that she wants to marry Ichika instead. Apparently in the novels she has a wet dream while thinking that he took her virginity, and her roommate even complained about the noise she was making! Overall being more aggressive and even using her ass to help seduce her love makes Cecilia quite strong here though she really deserved a more center stage.

Cecilia is a first year high school girl like most of the other girls in the series. This puts her at about 15-16 approximately, and I'm not sure if the girls age up in the light novels or not (it is possible). I will mention that I am at least grading her a little better than the prior girls but that's mainly due to my tastes becoming open so don't read too much into it. Oh, and her birthday is Christmas Eve meaning December 24th; not that it is too important but it is unfortunate for her gifts I suppose and I appreciate the date being listed. Overall while there isn't much to say about Cecilia do know that she does quite well when it comes to her age.

===Hair===
Matabei has a lovely long ponytail. The white/grey/light blue color looks great with her brown skin, though I'm not 100% sure which hair color she has (the light color still looks good though). Being a ponytail helps as even though her hair goes past her hips her ass is still clearly seen which is always good. For a bit of a unique decoration Matabei has some sort of sword and sheath in her hair, I'm thinking a tantō but I don't know swords well enough to know. Speaking of decorations her ribbon is cute too. The sidecurls are long too, though they aren't even with the right side going past her chest with ties at the bottom. Unless the right side is draped over her shoulder, but I can't be sure. Her sides curve in nicely, showing off the shape of her head nicely. Possibly the only issue with Matabei's hair are her bangs. The long middle isn't bad but she does have a large part over her right eye. She also has a lot of antenna as well, with two right above her part as well. That said, she still does great overall and I like Matabei's long beautiful ponytail.

===Eyes===
Matabei's eyes are really pretty too. They are a nice golden color, though it's possible that they're more purple or red (though not as red as Yukimura's) in the novels as I can't be sure. Regardless she has a nice eye color, even if I imagine Zettai prefers her “brown eye” instead. Matabei's eyes are slightly tarame but not in any bad way either. She has a lot of eyelashes in the corner of her eyes, but they're small enough to not be noticeable in the series itself and only provide nice emphasis. She has pretty pupils, fitting the art style well and overall Matabei has really pretty eyes. Shame she doesn't wear something like thick framed glasses or something.

===Face===
Matabei has a lovely face. She's got soft cheeks-on her face, at least as far as I'm talking about right now-and they have a nice curve. She has a gentle yet serious face, befitting a TDB like her though her hair is white I suppose. Her chin is rounded too. She does have a somewhat medium-sized nose, with a line most of the time though a shorter one. It does look a little smaller in the light novel illustrations, which helps a fair amount. She also has cute expressions, and overall Matabei has a great face that appeals well.

===Build===
As you can probably tell, Matabei is one of the greatest examples of an “ass” character. She shows off quite a lot, both in the series itself and nearly every official image of her shows off her fat fundoshi ass. Other girls like Mafuyu need to pay attention to this kind of fanservice. And it's not just that she shows off her ass but her ass is nice and plump too. About the only thing that would be better would be if Muneakira, the male lead, noticed how sexy her ass was and brought it up a few times. More male leads need to appreciate female asses, and not just on flat girls either. Sadly despite the fanservice series Matabei doesn't have measurements. Still, I want to say that her ass is bigger than her chest, though I can't say for sure. She also seems fairly tall, though that may just be due to her hanging around the token loli. Her lower body in general is nice and meaty, not just her ass but her legs are strong but sexy too. She also shows off her navel quite a bit in her normal outfit which helps a little. We also can't forget that Matabei has lovely dark skin too, though it's a little subtle as well (so it could just be an all-over tan or something). Speaking of dark things I'm more used to the dark outline-ish styling of the art style, and it looks quite good. Overall Matabei's ass is her most noteworthy and iconic feature but the rest of her body does quite well. But that ASS!

===Chest===
Sadly even though Matabei is an ass character she is still fairly busty. Much like most of the girls in the show (there are about two loli exceptions). Fortunately all the other girls keeps Matabei's service more ass-related, though there are still issues like when she's naked or so. It doesn't help that she occasionally has underboob shots as well. Still, she isn't as bad as most of the other girls and all the ass appreciation in official art helps quite a bit. For trivia she has small nipples, like most of the girls in the series.
Grade: B-

===Clothes===
Matabei has some pretty nice outfits. Her usual outfits consists of a long-sleeved green sailor uniform top tied under her chest to show off her waist well, and her ass is shown off greatly due to her fundoshi that fits her very well. It does hang down in the front, but it shows off her ass as mentioned before thanks to the thong back (the waist seems twisted but not the part between her cheeks, which is good). Under her shirt she wears a sarashi instead of a bra, which she also wears to the beach it seems. Other outfits she's worn include a bikini (though one that lacks cleavage), a miko outfit, a waitress outfit, and the master samurai outfit that looks cool and has a big brush for a weapon. Oh, and usually Matabei wields a polearm that's more like a spear than naginata, but it's still cool. It could help if Matabei had outfits that showed off her ass better, like naked apron or buruma, but in general she still does quite well.

===Personality===
Matabei is a great girl. She's a loyal bodyguard and friend to Yukimura, and often aids both in her plans to take over the dojo and to seduce Muneakira. This is because they're a part of the anti-Tokugawa faction, but eventually she teams up with her enemies to defeat an even bigger one. Matabei is a serious and solemn girl, but not in an unfriendly or overly serious way either. She's just that devoted to her friend, as mentioned before, but she acts somewhat like an older sister and guardian as well as a bodyguard. From what I can tell she also enjoys baths, and has a strong sense of smell. I'm a little weirded out by Matabei apparently sniffing Yukimura and eventually Muneakira's clothes though. She also does most of the chores around the dojo, including the cleaning and cooking (and it's refreshing to see more girls being good at cooking too). She's good at combat, but still falls behind in the second season though fortunately she makes a contract with Muneakira to become a Master Samurai. Overall she's more of a side character, but Matabei is still an important confident for Yukimura and a good fighter too. Oh, and we can't forget that she's voiced by Yuu Kobayashi; I thought that was one of my favorite VAs but I was thinking of Yuu Asakawa so my mistake. Still, Yuu Kobayashi has a lot of great rolls including Setsuna from Negima, Sasha from Attack on Titan, Siggy from Queen's Blade, and Ayame the meganekko from Gintama. Overall she gives Matabei a great cool voice fitting her TDB-like personality and in general works great with her.
Grade: B+

===Libido==
Matabei doesn't start with too much libido. She respects Yukimura and helps her to charm Muneakira, but as the series goes on (meaning the second season) Matabei starts to fall for him. It's pretty cute and she knows that it's not proper for her to take Yukimura's love (though she excepts the harem-style type of ending). Still, Matabei trains to be a better lover including kisses in the second season. She pairs up with the other assistant Hanzou for yuri teasing with the meganekko maid. Matabei eventually goes on to be the 6th member of the harem.
Grade: B

===Age===
I'm not sure how old Matabei is, as she doesn't seem to have a listed age that I could find. She's likely older than Yukimura and I think that she's in high school (which is backed up by J-Pixiv) but I can't remember for sure.

Of course not, though it was pretty useful like blogs in general tend to be. It's more like people comparing research papers than straight copying! But enough banter, let's get to the main event!

==Head==
===Hair===
Shigure has pretty good hair. It's long, reaching past her shoulders though done up in a ponytail that rises up (I imagine that gives it a bit more length). I like ponytails, at least on swordgirls, and for added cuteness she has a ribbon at the base. Shigure also has her hair down on occasion, but not too often. Her bangs are curved, framing her face pretty well even with the M-shape at the top. Her bangs do look nice but the shape of them means a little of her forehead is shown in the center (though not so much as to affect her too much). Still, her bangs are pretty long, reaching past her mouth on the sides though even in the middle they seem to be about eye-length. We also can't forget about Shigure's hair color. It looks dark or black, but looking close shows that it's more of a dark green or purple color (the exact color seems to change). Oh, and when she was a kid Shigure's hair was short, while as a teen she had slightly longer but still not as long as she has in the present. Overall she does really well, and about the only things holding her back is her inconsistent hair color, her odd bangs, and she could have her hair down more often. Though I suppose that at least she doesn't cover her ass with it!
Grade: A-

===Eyes===
Shigure has very pretty eyes. Her eyes are narrow, but not overly so where they're just slits. It's more of an almond shape, though a lot of the time her eyes are half closed or slanted. Nothing against that of course, as I really like that look. She also has an emphasized upper lid and corner, just how I like it, and it fits with her personality. She does have some eyelashes as well, but they aren't too distracting or anything. Shigure's eyes are a pretty purple color, and she has some round pretty pupils which look nice. Sadly I don't think that she has ever worn glasses, but I don't know the manga so maybe she wears them in there. Still, she does very well here regardless.

: Hmmm... I do have... purple eyes. But... Zettai seemed to... like... my brown one... best.

: Brown eye? But it's not like you're a chunnibyou or have heterochromia. And unlike your hair your eyes don't randomly change colors like your hair.

*Riri is shaking her head back and forth, her hands on her temple trying to get the image out of her head.*

===Face===
I would say that Shigure is pretty cute, though I do like the anime version a little more. It may be more smooth, but the manga makes her look younger than she actually is (at least in my opinion). Either way she's very beautiful, as an older girl should be. She has small features including a triangle nose, and a rounded chin and cheeks (though the latter could be more rounded). The fact that she's a KDEG certainly helps too, meaning she doesn't show too much emotion most of the time. And while it's possible it could be counted in the previous area I can't forget about Shigure's unique eyebrows. They zigzag like lightning and are pretty thick, looking like she was the girl that lived-wait, wrong franchise xD. Still, her eyebrows are pretty cool and in general Shigure's face is really good too.
Grade: B+

==Body==
===Build===
Shigure is a very curvy woman. She's 159 cm, which is odd as that makes her seem shorter than she should be. She's not even taller than the lead Ken'ichi, which is strange as he's treated as being pretty short. Sadly she doesn't want her other measurements known, which is a shame because she's very shapely. Especially her ass, which makes sense considering this is Zettai's homage blog. Shigure gets a lot of great buttshots, mostly thanks to her fundoshi though having a lot of naked ass moments is great too. She even gets good official art, being the main “ass” girl of the series and actually shows it in the series instead of just in side material. She could use some more assy scenes, such as teasing with her ass more or sitting on her mouse Touchuumaru for giantess fun. Or even sitting on Ken'ichi's back as he did push-ups as she drinks tea or something, all while he has to keep from getting to excited and working out... Ahem, anyway, I suppose that as good as Shigure's ass it could always be bigger (though that could be said about all girl asses in general). Continuing onto other topics Shigure's body is still really good, with no noticeable muscle even with her great strength which I like. She could use a bit more thickness to her legs, especially her thighs. She has a pretty slender but nice waist and navel, and she seems skilled with her feet which sounds sexy. Overall Shigure does really well, especially her great ass!
Grade: A-

===Chest===
That said, like a lot of female characters in this series Shigure is very busty. As mentioned before she lacks measurements, and I can't tell if she's bustier than Miu or not (or, if Shigure is, if that was intended or a fluctuating mistake). Fortunately outside of a few moments Shigure's chest isn't too emphasized, unlike with Miu. She does show her nipples in the OVA but not for long, though I'm not sure if that happens in the manga or not. And as mentioned before, she's an ass girl so she fortunately doesn't get too much attention. Though again I don't know what happens in the manga. Still, overall she does pretty well here even if she does have a large chest.
Grade: C+

===Clothes===
Shigure has a pretty interesting wardrobe. She dresses like a ninja with a pink kimono with short skirt, though the kimono does show off her chest quite a bit. Underneath she wears a fishnet chestpiece (though it probably should be more supportive) and a fundoshi. The latter is really great as that's why her ass is shown off so much. She also wears dark thighhighs which look good with her outfit too for some absolute territory which look great. She also wears a choker or some sort of neckpiece around her neck as well. Her bathing suit is also really great, being her aforementioned fundoshi with a sarashi, though I'm surprised that she doesn't wear the latter normally. She doesn't get a lot of outfits otherwise. She has a shirt and shorts combination in a flashback, a white yukata for bathing in, and a ninja costume. Considering the show do know that Shigure has her clothing get destroyed quite a bit. ===Personality===
Shigure is a really great character. She is a KDEG, mostly due to lacking a lot of social skills. She was raised in the mountains by her smithing father and lived in isolation. One of the masters, Akisame, met them on his travels and found himself having to fight her father. He then decided that Shigure should go and see the world, though at that point she didn't have a name even. Akisame gave her a name based on the Autumn rain, as it was raining in Autumn at that point. Shigure was then raised by friends of his as well as his old master, along with her “brother” Rin Tachibana. After her master died Akisame then brought Shigure to the Ryouzanpaku where she became the resident master of weapons. When not training she goes and looks for her father's swords, destroying them so that they can never kill. She does use a weapon from her father, but she only uses it to cut clothing. She usually wields swords, but anything in her hands could really be used as a weapon. Even something as simple as a wooden spoon! Though not triangle rulers as while they look like weapons they aren't.
With a lot of her background out of the way we can talk about Shigure's personality. She's a KDEG as mentioned, though in general she starts out as a quiet loner who only has close ties with Apachi and some neighborhood children. Oh, and she has a pet mouse named “Touchuumaru”, who is quite awesome himself. She doesn't even eat with the other masters, but as the series goes on she starts to open up (though she doesn't completely get rid of her quiet side, which is good). She also speaks with pauses, which always seemed to me like she had to translate her thoughts from one language to another for some reason. Still, it's a great aspect of her. It helps that Shigure is voiced by Mamiko Noto, who is a great VA. Overall Shigure is a wonderful girl and has a lot of great scenes as she's very skilled at using her weapon, even making silly shounen moments like preventing an archer from shooting her by pulling the string and reflecting the attack.
Grade: A

===Libido==
Shigure is hard to judge here. As mentioned before she's a KDEG and is thus stoic, but she still seems to have feelings for Ken'ichi. This helps because she's the older one in the relationship, and as his master it has the appeal of a teacher and student relationship. She doesn't seem to mind being naked with him, and even suggests that the two of them bathe together. Shigure also doesn't mind getting stripped in battle or just fighting nude in general. She even destroys a lot of her opponents by destroying clothes! That said, Shigure isn't alright with everything as she tends to dislike Kensei Ma spying on her or peeking at her, but that seems to be more of a silly rivalry than anything. Overall Shigure does well here, though it would be awesome if she had a few good sexy moments.

Shigure's actual age is rather unknown, which means that MAL's information is incorrect. Unless both Pixiv and the Japanese Wikipedia are the wrong ones, but I doubt that. Anyway, she is an adult at least. She's one of the masters, and is older than the protagonist which I do like (even if he's not too interested in her). She is also the youngest of the masters, but there's nothing wrong with that. It would help if Shigure had an actual age, but she still does quite well here.

===Hair===
Shizuru has really great hair. It's a lovely black color, though there are occasions where it looks slightly blue. Still, it's a nice dark shade that looks really good. Her hair is somewhat long, reaching about chest-level so while it could be a little longer (such as to her waist or so) it's still a nice medium-length. I like how the end is blunt as well, which looks quite nice. Shizuru's sides are a little shorter, but they also reach about to her chest. Her bangs are somewhat basic, with a zig-zag cut and a long middle bang, but thanks to the color it all works really well. To be fair Shizuru does wear a helmet while piloting, hiding some of her hair but luckily her hair is long enough to be seen otherwise. Overall it's a great style and color, only missing out with the bangs slightly. There's also one official image has Shizuru wearing a ponytail/bun with a yukata. I'm not sure if there's any other moments in the series where she had a different hair style, but as said she does well.

===Eyes===
Shizuru has very pretty eyes. They're narrow, though not narrow enough to be the slit-type of eyes either. Shizuru has a slight tsurime though it is hard to tell, due to how slender her eyes are. Still I really like them as they fit her character really well. I think that Shizuru's eyes are a grey color but I'm not sure (it could be blue or another color, as I have problems telling due to the art style). Still, it's overall a nice dark color that works well with her black hair. Overall I really like Shizuru's eye's, both color and shape-wise, but she needs glasses (though preferably better ones than Kiriko's triangle-style ones).
Grade: B

===Face===
Shizuru's head looks very nice as well. Her head is acorn-shaped, looking quite pretty and framed well by her long hair. However, there are some issues. The art style makes her look a little older than I'd like, namely with her nose. It's a fairly long line, and from the side she seems to have a pretty big nose. That said, most of the characters in the series are like that so I probably shouldn't pick on Shizuru in particular. Overall I do find Shizuru both cute and cool, but she doesn't leave any lasting impression in this area sadly.
Grade: B

This is one of Shizuru's best areas, though there are some issues. One of which goes with the next area, so I'll wait until then. Anyway, Shizuru has sizes which are always helpful. She seems to be 167 cm and her three sizes are 87/53/88. It's nice that she has a larger ass than chest, but really her ass could be so much bigger. That said, Shizuru still is well-known for her fat ass. The camera often shows shots of it, with her cheeks often exposed as well. She gets a lot of sexy moments, with the most famous one being where she's trying to slide into her ship's cockpit and her fat ass makes her get stuck for a short time. She also has a great cut-in in the PS2 Godannar game, with her ass coming into the scene first and looking very sexy. It is like front and center too, being very focused on, which is good as only her and Lou (the token loli) seem to get ass-shots (a real shame, I suppose). In addition, they made an official doujin to fund the second season (with a lot more erotic things than they could put in the actual anime). The main bonus is that there's a picture of her showing her anus, and outside of hentai that probably never happens! Though I suppose that there are hentai images later in the same book, but let's not talk about them. Instead let's look at Shizuru's other assets. Her body is very sexy and curvy, with her ass definitely being her best feature as mentioned before but her thighs are also quite sexy and her waist is fairly narrow which only brings out her curves more. Overall, her ass could be even bigger or shown off to a greater extent but since she's still the series main ass girl she still looks simply amazing.

===Chest===
Sadly as mentioned previously Shizuru is also pretty busty, with a bust size of 87 cm. She's also the third bustiest character, though considering a majority of the girls in the series are very busty I'm pretty surprised. A shame, really as they could have made her more slender or at least smaller than a lot of her costars. I still wouldn't hold it against her too much though, as those are just numbers. The problem is that the show is also fairly mamocentric, even with Shizuru showing off her ass as much as she can. She gets a lot of bouncy breast service, and in the previously mentioned official doujinshi she shows off her nipples (which are small, but that's not what's important). Shizuru also has an issue of misusing a squirt gun in an official image, putting it between her breasts which is really silly (She should have stuck it between her asscheeks instead). The worst moment, at least as far as I remember, was that in the epilogue Shizuru took Kiriko's place and had a reference to the busty mother. You see, Kiriko kept her phone between her very large breasts and answers it in the first episode. In the epilogue the same type of scene happens, only it's Shizuru that's taking a call from her breasts and making her chest jiggle. Really, she should keep her phone between her buttocks and then there could be “booty call” jokes. Okay, so that pun doesn't work in Japanese but still! But yeah, the main issue with Shizuru here is that she's very busty in a pretty mamocentric series (though not as mamocentric as most series these days) and that the epilogue seems to take her legacy of being an ass girl and spit the worst kind of vomit on it.

===Clothes===
Shizuru has a surprising amount of variety, with a lot of sexy outfits. She's probably most known for her pilot suit which consists of a blue bodysuit with leotard (and often wedgied) bottom. There's a while vest-like part on top and the shoulders are rounded like a ball joint with a golden ornamentation on the outside. She also has white gloves, and I think tall purple boots connected to her hips and the boots have white bottoms. Or maybe the white bottoms are her actual boots and the rest are modified thighhighs, I'm not sure. Still, what I do know is that it's a sexy bodysuit-like outfit. Other outfits that Shizuru has worn include a white one-piece swimsuit, a track jacket, a grey bra with panties, a towel, a blue dress with mini-jacket, and perhaps more that I can't remember. Other outfits, the ones in official art, include a black one-piece swimsuit with a somewhat open side, a green buruma gym uniform, and a purple kimono with flowers. Overall she does well, and especially the bodysuit and buruma outfits show off her ass well. I'd say that she could use more ass-showing outfits, but she still does a good job here overall.

===Personality===
Shizuru hasis a very cool personality. She fits the TDB personality fairly well, being aloof with dark hair but sadly she is a little tsundere. It's not that she's too sharp-tongued but rather that she can't admit her feelings for reasons out of her control. Still, Shizuru is very awesome and when I initially watched the show she was definitely my favorite due to her mature and determined personality. Though she's also the type that I'd easily back off from for the sake for a friend too, for obvious reasons. Shizuru is the main pilot of the Core Gunner mecha, which is a sniper mecha (which explains her nice ass, I suppose). She's such a good sniper due to advice from her beloved Goh as well. She's a very experienced pilot, often doing a good job and being very GAR as well. She's so GAR that she uses the “Who do you think I am?” phrase years before TTGL. She's also so determined that she is able to return from the “dead” thanks to Mira granting her some power. This determination isn't always good as she's quite stubborn or overconfident in her skills. As the series goes on Shizuru helps train Anna, being rough but with a reason (Shizuru wants to make sure Anna won't hold Goh back). Probably the only thing holding her back is not being a “main” character, but if I remember correctly she still shows up quite often. Shizuru also has a great voice, and even if I watched the show a while ago in dub her subbed voice is probably superior (at least from the parts I've heard). Her English VA is Tiffany Grant, while her Japanese VA is Yumi Kakuzu. The latter has voiced roles such as Mint from Tokyo Mew Mew, Tea/Anzu from Yu-gi-oh, and the replacement Magical Sapphire from Prism Illya (as well as Seolle the assy sniper from SRW, which fits Shizuru well. And that's not counting the fact that in at least one game she gets her fat ass mocked, making them even more alike xD). Overall she does really well here, appealing to my enjoyment of experienced female fighters and TDBs.
Grade: B+

===Libido===
Shizuru has some issues here, though they sort of define her character at the same time. She has an unrequited love for Goh (or “Goo” in some translations I've seen), so her heart was broken when he decided to marry Mira. Mira then died, but before Shizuru could admit her feelings Anna shows up and marries Goh. This makes Shizuru pretty frustrated and trains Anna extra hard as well as taking some time to become closer. Shizuru sadly still can't move on, even once the two are married. That said, Shizuru does have some minor shipping. Goh's younger brother Shinobu seems to be falling for her, and her former copilot Kouji gets teased on occasion (though he's out of commission for most of the series). It's a shame that Shizuru doesn't have an ass-loving boyfriend in the epilogue, as she totally deserves one!
Grade: B

===Age===
Shizuru is outstanding here, being 28 years old during the majority of the anime. That's really outstanding as I was expecting her to be younger (at least back when I was watching the series, at least). Still, that does really terrific and awesome, so much so she's getting close to the “maximum” level though that's been relaxed a little due to me growing up. Apparently in the epilogue in the last episode she's 35, which is a bit older than I like but she still looks about the same (even if forgetting that scene ever happened would be fine too, for reasons previously mentioned). Still, Shizuru does perfectly here, with the emphasis on “perfect”!

It's become tradition to use that sort of picture for Final Fantasy characters. Especially as a lot of them don't have images on MAL.

: If only there were a Final Fantasy VI manga or something. You'd think that it would be obvious.

Head
Hair: Lightning has somewhat troubling hair. Then again I may be biased against the high-def new fangled games kids are playing these days, and Lightning is one example. Anyway, one of the problems is that she does have pink hair. Nothing wrong with pink hair, but this is one of the cases where too much of the cast has the same color (at least the female cast). There's too many pink haired girls in the cast, as out of the four girls only Fang is an exception. I do suppose that it makes sense for Lightning and Serah to match hair colors due to being sisters, but still. Early art seems to have had Lightning be brown (or silver, but that color was given to Hope), which wouldn't have been too awful. As far as length, Lightning's hair isn't too bad. It's about chest length, though that's because it's resting on her shoulder. Her bangs are fairly basic, with a part on the left and a windswept look. She has some spikes in the front as well, which reminds me of Cloud's hair somewhat (though not as Chocobo-like). That said, while pretty bland I wouldn't say that it's too terrible, but my main problem is that it looks like Lightning's hair is either wet or greasy for some reason. Again that may just be me hating on the 3D graphics, but I'm not a big fan.
Grade: C+

Eyes: Lightning's eyes are officially said to be blue, but there are green aspects in them. The model makes it difficult to tell just looking at her, though it could be because Lightning has somewhat narrow eyes. Not slit-like, but narrow seems to be how a lot of Final Fantasy heroines are designed (ever since Rinoa, though it did skip IX). Nothing too interesting, but there was one thing that does help Lightning in this area. In Lightning Returns she wears sunglasses, in a cutscene no less. They're cool ones, with butterfly-like wings on the end pieces (that's the outer edge of the frame). She also has a lot of glasses adornments in that game as well, so you can customize her to wear glasses. And really, that's a good gameplay mechanic. So, not too interesting but nice glasses.
Grade: B-

Face: I suppose that we have to discuss my problem with 3D graphics here too. Overall I'm not a big fan of the faces in this game, Lightning included. In particular her face is somewhat masculine, though that may be because she's based off Cloud and Squall. She also has a fair-sized nose which is a downside as always. She has it in some 2D appearances as well, including art for Dissidia. Overall not overly bad, but not something I'm a big fan of.
Grade: B-

: Some dumb phone game or something. And it's not like Topaz really WANTS you to be one of his strongest. Blame the gatcha seeming to favor you for some reason.

Body
Build: Lightning does surprisingly poorly here. Her height is fine, being a nice and tall 171 cm (though I suppose compared to some of the other Final Fantasy characters that seems short. Even Snow from her game is an even 200 cm). Sadly this is as good as she gets. She's pretty slender, both her body and limbs. She is pretty strong and acrobatic, which is good, but sadly even though she shows off her legs well they aren't too meaty. Lightning also has a navel piercing, if one that's hard to see (and she loses it in XIII-2). Sadly even though she seems to show off her ass a little they didn't give her any animation so it sadly looks flat and unmoving. Her ass is in fact so bland that people have compared it to a pancake and said that she literally had no butt, just that her thighs connect to her back. Obviously this is awful. In general she's not too interesting and very bland, outside of her somewhat-tall height.
Grade: C-

Chest: The fact that Lightning doesn't show off too much does help a little here. Her chest isn't too big, looking about normal for an adult (and Fang, from what I've heard, is more of a chest girl). Some of her garbs in Lightning Returns do show off her cleavage and she has some slight bounce, but it's quite hard to notice from what I've heard (if the people who mentioned it didn't just imagine it). I would also mention that her L'Cie brand is on her left breast above her heart. There is an advertisement which focuses on this mark, but I want to imagine that was unofficial and won't count it (it was from the art director of Deus Ex, another Square Enix franchise).
Grade: B-

Clothes: Lightning does alright here. In the first game she mainly wears an altered Guardian Corps uniform, which includes a white dress and shorts, with accessories like a pauldron, silly boots, blue gloves, a cape, and a couple of belts to carry her sheathes. She seems to have shorts on under it, but it looks a little hard to tell. In XIII-2 Lightning wears a Valkyrie outfit, commonly called a "Knight of Etros". This is a black suit of armor with exposed shoulders and a bit of her thighs too. She also wears a terrible white feathery skirt in back and tall boots. It looks cool, but isn't especially sexy. She also has a more-complete suit of black armor called the "Savior". Most of her upper body is covered, though she has boob-plates which are pretty stupid. Lightning also carries a red shield and has tall boots as well. Of course, the best outfits are Lightning's many garbs in Lightning Returns. These include outfits based on former Final Fantasy characters including Faris, Locke, Cloud, Aeris, and Yuno. She also has a moogle lover outfit with many plush moogles hanging off (at least, I hope they're plush...). There are a lot of different outfits in her garbs as well, many of which are suits of armor, suits in general (which I like), revealing outfits like the succubus-like Nightmare, and beautiful dresses. Overall, while too many garbs to list Lightning gets quite a bit of help from them and gets a good score here.

Personality: Lightning is the type of girl who I want to like more. She has a lot of traits I like, but there's something holding her back. For the good points she is somewhat-masculine and determined, with a somewhat-strong force of personality. Lightning is also somewhat snarky from what I can tell, and is a protective if aloof older sister. In fact, her parents died so she had to raise her sister Serah and go on many journeys to rescue her. After high school Lightning joined the Guardian Corps Bodhum Security Regimen and did quite well it seems. It sounds like she also lashes out at others, blaming the ones responsible for Serah getting captured. She also travels with Hope, meaning the character, and slowly seems to open up. It seems that in Lightning Returns she continues to be cold, due to losing her emotions in the time between the stories (though it's implied that she gave them up herself). Still, she's a cool character and I probably wouldn't mind her (especially if she was in a better game...). Lightning is voiced by Maaya Sakamoto in the Japanese versions and Ali Hillis in the English versions (blame most of the videos I looked at being in English for me mentioning her). Both suit her pretty good, with Maaya probably doing better, but as mentioned I don't know how it sounds in the actual game. Maaya is probably most famous these days for doing Shinobu from the Monogatari series, but other major roles include Ciel from Kuroshitsuji, Makoto from Ghost in the Shell, and strangely enough Aeris (which I imagine makes Dissidia games sorta silly to listen to xD).
Gameplay-wise Lightning is sort of a Red Mage, able to use both physical attacks and magic well. She can use the Commando, Ravager, and Medic classes to start with, meaning she's a physical attacker, magical attacker, or healer (though after a certain point she's able to use the other classes). She has the second-best attack and magic in the game, though this seems to be balanced by her weapons not giving as much stats as other peoples. She also has the second-lowest hit points in the game. Her Full ATB skill, which seems to be the game's equivalent to Limit Breaks maybe, is "Army of One" (or, depending on game, "Legion of One"). It's good in that it hits 11 times it seems, and can be spammed using a certain weapon. She gains more attacks in XIII-2, including Lightning Strike, Focused Bolt, Graviton Mines, and War's Benediction as well as the defensive Ullr's Shield. In addition, her personal Eidolon in the series is Odin which is, surprise surprise, lightning-based damage. As usual it's a mounted guy, but Lightning can ride alongside him.
Sadly, even with the cool older sister side and the nice combat abilities there is a problem with Lightning: her popularity. She's way too popular in general and has way too many cameos. In addition it's hard to say it wasn't intentional to make her overly popular or marketable either; her personality seems very in-line with popular past heroes like Cloud and Squall. She even has a gunblade, though they explain this by saying XIII was about "transformation" so it fits. To be fair she is a female lead, so some popularity is to be given, but she seems to get plastered on everything. She's even one of the three on the icon for Record Keeper, along with Cloud and Tidus (which is a shame as the art style seems to point closer to the SNES era). Lightning also has three games in the series, one of which has her name in it even. Granted she wasn't playable in XIII-2, at least not for a major amount of time, but still. She also had the strongest card in the Triple Triad mobile game (It had two A's, a 9, and a 7), though it got nerfed eventually (one of the A's became a 1). There's probably other things that I'm forgetting, but Lightning seems too manufactured or marketable to really appeal to me.

Libido: Lightning's libido does seem pretty low. She really doesn't have much time for romance, and is the type of lead that really doesn't show too much interest. She's definitely more interested in the job than relationships. That said, there's still a spark or two. For one, there's a lot of sisterly affection she has for her sister Serah. Lightning really cares for her, even if she doesn't show it early on. Lightning also travels quite a bit with Hope, who is a 14 year old boy (well, it gets complicated due to all the time travel, but imagine him being younger than Lightning). She becomes somewhat like a mother or older sister to the young boy as well. While probably not as good as it seems, on paper that sounds to my liking but I doubt anything actually happens.
Grade: C+

Age: This is, for my purposes, Lightning's best area. That said, it is a little odd. The story starts at Lightning's birthday, and she's turning 21 from 20. Overall not too bad, easily enough to get max points from the get-go. She remains 21 for the majority of the series, which isn't too surprising. Then, due to being incased in crystal before the events in Lightning Returns (the third game) and being sealed for 500 years she's suddenly chronologically 521. That said, it hasn't effected her at all so I can't complain too much. She gets a great score here.

*Topaz, Riri, and Lingyin sneak up the stairs, trying to be stealthy. They manage to get on the other side of the girl, who is focusing her umbrella fire on Lightning running in a zig-zag fashion. Topaz leaps down*

: Gotcha.

*Before Topaz could attack Mirai grabs her grenade launcher, blasting Topaz in the chest. Fortunately he didn't take much damage, only dealing about 15.*

: TOPAZ! Are you alright?

Yeah. That weapon didn't do as much damage as I expected.

: ... How? *looks puzzled.*

: That doesn't matter! I have you right where I want you!

*Mirai drops the launcher and pulls out her umbrella again. However as she aims it at Topaz a gunblade is thrown at it, knocking it out of Mirai's hands. As the umbrella was open it starts rolling down the mountainside.*

: Oh no! My umbrella!

Head
Hair: Sakura has really nice black hair. Well, at least I think it's black. It's definitely supposed to be black, but there are occasions where her hair looks more brown than black. That said it's probably just the art style, and she has the great black hair I really like. Her hair style is pretty good. Her bangs aren't anything to impressive, being somewhat basic with a long middle bang, but the long sides that reach her shoulders do a great job of framing her face. Her length is pretty good too, as it goes to her waist which means that her buttshots aren't covered. The reason I left the length of Sakura's hair is that, famously, she gets a haircut in the first episode. You see, she gets egged into accepting a Cabellera Contra Cabellera match and loses, meaning she lost her hair. Fortunately this only means to her shoulders, which while a downgrade isn't as bad as it could be. Not only that, but more surprising is that through the series she actually grows her hair back to her normal length. More shows need to do that (or, I suppose, not have haircuts in general).
Grade: A

Eyes: Sakura has some nice brown eyes.

: And I bet I know which one is Zettai's favorite!

Zettai: MMPH!

I suppose that I should. Anyway I do like Sakura's eye color as it looks nice (especially with her hair), though I will mention that in some images her eyes look golden. The shape is a tarame, but it doesn't look too bad either as it fits her "baby face" idol-look. The corners of Sakura's eyes are also somewhat thick and she does have an eyelash near the corner but nothing problematic either. Sadly even though she's an idol we don't see enough from that part of her life to know if she ever wore glasses or not.
Grade: B

Face: As mentioned before Sakura is a "baby face", which works well for my tastes. Her nose is small which is always to my liking, and Sakura really has a cute and infectious smile. Her head is acorn-shaped and all her features work well for her. If anything I'd say that the chin is a little strong but still not too bad. Overall Sakura is pretty good, but doesn't stand out too much here (even if she's very cute). I suppose that some of the faces she makes during her "losing streak" may hurt her somewhat here too.
Grade: B+

Build: Sakura has some measurements! Okay, so it's just that her height is 160 cm but that's better than nothing (better than having just a bust measurement as well). I guess it does make it seem like Sakura is shorter than I'd expect (especially for a wrestler), but still not too bad. She has a fairly thin frame (excluding certain curves), but that means that she's more of a striker than a grappler. Her waist and her legs are both pretty nice, but I keep thinking that her navel is higher than it should be (sadly it cant' be seen in her usual outfit). Speaking of her legs one of her moves is the "Sakura special" which is effectively a flip that kicks the opponent twice. Of course, and on the topic of Sakura's special attacks, we cannot forget about her ass. Really, she's a very assy girl and should be considered as such. Especially with her famous hip attack and I don't just mean in that image (though sadly not as much as I would like). Still, she needs more ass support from the fans (and support for her series in general). I do dislike that she had so many crotch shots, though. Overall her strong ass gives her a great showing here.
Grade: A

Chest: Sakura does have a pretty large chest, but fortunately that doesn't take too much away from her being an assy character. Sure, fanartists might be dumb but in the series itself she shows both sides about equally. This show is a fairly good one where fanservice is concerned, which is why it's so awful that people hate it for no good reason. That said she does show off her bare chest, and even watching the series it wasn't too impressive either (though the censorship may have been the reason, but still). Sakura's chest is a little bland though, but I'm not sure why. It's likely the art style though, but fortunately it doesn't hurt her too much. I will mention that it's pointed out at one time that her chest is somewhat muscular, which isn't something I look for (and fortunately most of her is slender anyway as far as definition goes). At least she's not as big as another Sakura wrestler, though again that measurement is likely more muscle than anything else. Like Ryu!
Grade: B-

Clothes: Sadly Sakura doesn't have a wide wardrobe, but what she has is actually quite good. The outfit we mainly see her in is a white and red leotard with an opening down the front (which does show a lot of cleavage) and an open back as well as showing plenty of her ass though it does look like she has a second "bottom" on as well. With it she also has detached sleeves and tall boots, both matching her main outfit. In the early days she wears a white jacket idol outfit with detatched sleeves, a red tie (necktie, though with a long collar it ruins some of the appeal. Not that Sakura should appeal that way, but I imagine you know what I mean), a pink shirt, black thighhighs for maximum appeal, and white boots. While training she wears her Berserk tracksuit ("Berserk" being the title of her gym) which is red and white. She also wears a casual outfit consisting of a white shirt and red skirt. Seems like there's a pattern here... The specials do have some other outfits as well, which include a white and black sports bra with matching panties, a white and red bikini, and matching pink bra and panties.
Grade: B

Personality: Sakura is a girl who quickly became amazing, going from a simple idol to a hot-blooded wrestler. She started out as the leader of the idol group "Sweet Diva", after many elections where she swept fairly easily. She then defends an ally at a wrestling event and gets caught in a wrestling match. She was easily defeated and lost her hair, but she gained a new respect for the sport. After training and many matches (a bit too many, if you ask me) she even broke out and became a prodigy of sorts. Sakura eventually became a great shounen-like lead, having a lot of exciting matches in the second half. As far as her personality goes, she's very hard-working and kind to her friends. She's also incredibly GAR as far as her matches go (at least past a certain point), and some of her special moves include hip attacks of course and the Sakura Special which is a double kick somersault. I'd probably write more, but the anime was sadly only a season long and the manga has been stalled for too long. Sakura also is named after real life idol-wrestler Mimi Hagiwara, and many of the characters from the series also have similar themed names. Sakura is voiced by Ayana Taketatsu who is a fairly famous VA, and she did a good job with Sakura. Well, except for the fact that her “Itai!” or “It hurts!” became notorious with the show, but even then that's not Ayana's fault. It's more the fault of the horrible un-fans who dismiss this show. Really, a lot more people should have given it a chance as it's a really great and exciting and not at all the torture porn that people think that it is. Then again I think that people's opinion of wrestling tends to be the more cartoony and scripted versions, and while SekaTsuyo was "scripted" many of the blows and holds have a lot of impact to them. Now, I will admit that Sakura's hard training, where Misaki kept her in a hold until Sakura could escape, should have came earlier as we had a few episodes of her being a terrible wrestler (mostly just losing to the "newbie killer" Boston Crab). Still, the second half (which incidentally also had a lot less fanservice) definitely made it worth watching. But this series isn't just "forced fanservice" or "torture porn" that people seem to think it is, and while I'm not as vocal about it as Zettai I do want to give it the chance and love it deserves. Now if only I could remember the acronym to her show without having to look it up (though that happens with a lot of series).
Grade: A-

If only more good fanservice series with an all-female cast were treated positively.

That only means that they'll be able to play at the meganekko lead's strength better though.

Libido: Sadly Sakura doesn't seem to have much of a libido. I mean sure, she does have a "hip attack" as a powerful move, but I don't think that we can count that (even if it is quite sexy). That said, there's quite a few yuri relationships that Sakura seems to fit into. There's Moe who is a younger girl and treats Sakura like a senpai, while the relationship is the opposite with Misaki (who is Sakura's senpai). There's also Elena who is Sakura's rival (both in the idol world and, as revealed later, also being a wrestler).
Grade: C

Age: Sakura starts out the series at 17, which is kinda surprising. That said the series does have some short time skips, so it's possible that she's older by the time the series ends.

Welcome back to our regularly scheduled blogs everyone. Last week was the meganekko day special, in addition to the normal blog so be sure to read them as they're related to each other.

What do you mean-OH! It wasn't intentional, just that the two were from the same show. But being sisters they are related.

: For those of you who just want a review, Topaz talked about Benio and Kobeni. He then had sexual unjokes that lead up to him getting the bird from Kobeni.

: And I thought that Kobeni was the nicer one!

She said "get" the bird, not flipped the bird. Though I guess other countries might be different. Anyway, when we returned home who happened to be there but...

*Topaz glances at the twintail maid who isn't paying attention.*

: Oh. *Points to herself* You mean me.

That's right! And I imagine you'll allow me to do my blog on you.

: I suppose that it is only fair. But first I need you to listen.

Alright then.

*Topaz takes a seat on the ground. Airi then clears her throat and starts speaking.*

: Obviously you know by now that Aldra is going on a destructive rampage.

That's the first I heard about that! Though I did notice the giant walking Colosseum when Nina and I passed by, so I'm not surprised. Wait, that must be why I got the messages from Críet from inside!

: You got messages from her? We thought she was killed!

: Your maid friend is safe-for now. But if we don't hurry Aldra will extract her power!

That's terrible!

: Where would we find another maid like that-oh, there's one.

: Ha ha ha... But let's not be too hasty. I still need to continue telling you all I know.

Well then, continue on.

: What happened is that Aldra is possessed by some unknown force. It's making her act differently, and she even crystallized Menace and Melona!

What?! I thought they were your biggest allies!

: They were, which shows how much Aldra is being manipulated. She betrayed some of her most loyal units.

: Wait, I thought you worked for the Swamp Witch-

: That's different.

: I see. But still sounds bogus.

: Anyway, speaking of her units it seems that Aldra has three new generals to replace us. I don't remember their names, but I think that they were called "Esdeath", "Kuvira", and "Fasalina".

For some reason it sounds like one of those three stands out.

: It's probably the one that sounds like a tree final boss.

Nice reference. Though speaking of SNES games I miss Ririchiyo.

: Oh, she's in the Colosseum too. Though she's been hiding from Aldra's troops for weeks.

Now I want to get in there and save them even more!

: And she's not the only one. If we can break out the two prisoners you'll get two powerful allies as Centorea and Setsuna will no longer have any reason to obey Aldra.

That would work as well!

: Though I'd have to come with too. I'm the only one who you can trust to disable her prisoner bracelets. If you don't do it properly the person will explode.

: Better than poison, at least.

: Well, that's all of the information I have for you. Anything else?

Not that comes to mind, but we can't forget that...

*Airi sighs and facepalms.*

: Just get on with the blog. I'll try and do something later.

Good plan, but for now let's begin!

Head
Hair: Airi has really lovely hair. It's red, but like Kobeni's hair last week I actually do like Airi's hair color. Perhaps the darker scarlet color helps, as does Airi's black outfit. Anyway her twintails also look great, extending past her butt though as they're side tails they don't cover her butt either. She also has a pair of shorter twintails from the base of the larger ones, being much shorter and looking somewhat like dog ears (though it's not pointed out specifically). She also has some loose strands, I'm not a big fan as I like orderly hair more but they aren't bad either. Airi also has a good sense of decoration, with a fitting frilly maid headdress and cute black bows on the tail's bases. Probably the only bad thing is that her bangs are a little generic. She does have a large middle bang and a lot of long hairs, but her bangs leave a lot to be desired. I'll also add that Rana places a flower lei on her head in one official image, and player 2 Airi has a boring blonde color (like the series needed more of those). Not too bad, especially with her length, but having a better secondary color and better bangs would have helped.
Grade: B+

Eyes: Airi has some fairly rounded eyes, but they still make her look rather cute. She could have used a tsurime, but as said it's not bad. She also has some eyelashes, but nothing too troublesome. Probably the biggest problem is her eye color. While I normally wouldn't have a problem with blue eyes Queen's Blade does seem to have an overabundance of them. That said, it is hard to pin Airi's eye color down. It changes all the time from blue, blue-ish green, and green. It's an interesting effect if done on purpose, but there's really no reasoning behind it that I could find. As is, it just seems inconsistent. Surprisingly her player 2 version does have better eyes, with a reddish or brown color. A shame it's not reversed so that she'd get bonus points for matching her eye and hair colors.
Grade: B-

Face: Airi also has one of the best faces in the original Queen's Blade. I suppose it helps that I like her moe look which stands out against the more serious characters. Her small nose also helps too. I would say that her chin is somewhat pointed, but it is not too troublesome or noticeable. Her cheeks also look really soft too, looking really rounded as well. The ones on her face, I mean.
Grade: A-

Body
Build: That said, Airi's butt looks both soft and rounded too. More on that in a bit though, first we have to talk about her measurements. Airi is 154 cm tall and her three sizes are 86-56-83; while quite great I would say that it could be better. Especially if Airi's butt was as big as or bigger than her chest. It would give her something unique, being the only non-loli like that in the first two seasons. She does have a nice butt and it doesn't look too much smaller than her chest, so I blame poor measurements more than anything. In addition Airi also has fairly shapely legs, shown off by her thighhighs. Her feet, while not seen as much, also seem to be quite good. Of course, I can't forget the fact that Airi is a wraith. That's sorta like a ghost, only with a bit of life-stealing to it. Airi can drain people with a passionate kiss. She can also become incorporeal, meaning she can go through walls and other solid things.
Grade: B

Chest: As said previously her chest is 86 cm. That's not too bad, and is fair-sized compared to some of the "titan" power in the show. Airi is actually somewhat modest and fair-sized, as are her nipples. That said Airi isn't really a chest character (all the more reason for her to show off her booty instead).
Grade: B

Clothing: Airi doesn't have a lot of variation but her main outfit is extremely strong. It's a black maid outfit with ribbons and frills, some cleavage though with a bowtie, a short skirt, and white thighhighs. She does wear white underwear, but sadly it's just plain. As player 2 she seems to have a more purple outfit, not bad but black is definitely better. It also looks great with her red hair, as stated before. In addition, as Airi is a wraith her clothing is a direct link to her power. Because of this, when she gets weakened her clothing fades out or disappears. She also carries a large scythe as her weapon, giving a grim reaper-look. Airi also has a few other outfits too. In the first season's specials she wears a nice black sailor uniform that exposes her navel, and with it she wears black thighhighs. She also wears a black bikini in the second season's specials. In official art she also wears many Christmas outfits as well as a quite small bikini. Overall she's strong but I'd expect a naked apron to show up at one time. Apparently she was also set to show off different outfits in the combat book as well, though they didn't do it as it would ruin her image of being a maid (instead it went to Melona).

Mind
Personality: Airi is the head maid of the Swamp Witch and is one of her loyalest minions. Well, at least until she had a change of heart thanks to Rana, but still. She even puts her life in peril by obeying him and not stealing the lives of people for energy. She's a "maid" due to the pun involving her full title and a pun with the word "Meido" as that's how maid is spoken in Japanese and written it's actually "underworld" or something similar. I don't know, I'm not good at that sort of wordplay xD. Airi is a head maid as recently there's been two more wraith maids revealed, Mime and Meena. Airi is also kind and calm, being the most reasonable member of the Swamp Witch's minions. She also enjoys dancing and fears fading away (though I can imagine the latter if put in Airi's situation). Airi can also command spirits, both for attacking and for scouting. Kanae Ito, Airi's VA, does a great job. Her voice is well-pitched and enjoyable, and when she's trying it's quite seductive. There's also a few references in the games; Airi tends to use moves based on Gundam Deathscythe (for puns, I'm guessing) while her finishing move is based on Jeeg Breaker (at least the hugging part). In addition, during Tomoe's route Airi helps the player cross the river Styx and Komachi of all things gets referenced! Overall Airi is a really great girl and definitely one of the most well-written and growing characters in the series.
Grade: A

Libido: Airi is fairly strong here. As said before she has a passionate kiss that sucks life away, though she tends to prefer to use that on girls. She's also a rival with Nanael, even fighting her once in the second season so sometimes they get paired up. But the main relationship I think of is how much the shota Rana helped Airi open up and start being not so evil. It is an anime-exclusive relationship, but I approve of straight shota (even if Cattleya also makes a good pair for her son). Finally, Airi acts like a maid for the viewer in one special and that was kinda cool.
Grade: A

Age: Technically Airi's age is unknown. It doesn't really matter though, considering she's an ageless wraith. I've heard people say that she's in her high teens to twenties, and I'd say that's a fair estimate.
Grade: B+

: Alright then. All that I have to do is send this smell-proof package over to Zettai.

: Smell-proof?

: That just means that the smell won't escape.

: Perfect for Oniisama!

Right! Wait, didn't you say "cakeS". As in plural?

: Right. You see, while ripping farts on the main cake I noticed there was an additional one. Here, you can have this.

*Airi forces the cake onto Topaz.*

Er, thanks. I mean I appreciate it, but I might wait until the smell dies down to eat it.

: Won't happen, these are special containers as said before.

: Thankfully. I can smell the stench from the kitchen in here. Nearly smells like the legendary flower of stench or something.

: Why does everyone say that?!

*Topaz shoves it in his pants with the other items.*

: Agreed. Now hold on tight...

*Topaz grabs Airi's waist and she flies off.*

*Airi flies off, with Topaz holding onto her.*

: Awww... This is so boring. I would rather be out on the front lines or looking for Topaz.

: Do not covet thy allies jobs. We are all important to Aldra-sama.

: Yeah, but I don't see why she sent me to watch the cells with you.

: Aldra doth not trust me alone enough, perhaps.

: True. You could escape with that bird friend of yours. I don't mean that she could lift you, should be obvious, but just in general run off with her. But I'm going to go check out other things. And by that I mean take a nap. I doubt that anyone would invade, but do tell me if we get attacked.

: I shall do just that.

*Esdeath leaves and heads back to her room.*

: Alright, she has left.

: Harumph, it's a shame that we have to be in hiding so much. I hope that someone gets here soon.

: Right. I'd even let them blog about me!

: Sounds like an even trade, but thy cannot forget my ally that is imprisoned in the upper chambers.
