Since no one made a review about this I will...
Story
Alright what do I need to say... the anime is about Chocola but the name is"Time Stranger Kyoko" Kyoko hase almost no parts in it but alright aside of that Chocola is a pretty cute little girl that loves the King and runs away when he forgets what she says "The anniversary of there love"... what happens after that isn't really intresting believe me, but the end gets intresting again cause of Kyoko who got like less then 1 minute a part o.o...
Art
A allot older anime you will see (ore think), well it isn't that bad for a older anime and the anime makers have made allot other animes to which you should totally love the art also from so a 7 is fair here...
Sounds
The voice actors are really good that a big plus but I think if you watch the background sounds will really annoy you cause they are to loud in my option and don't fit for it in the scene's... something bad again
Character
Alright I be fair now I won't look to Kyoko even thought the anime is named after her, but she's awesome anyway... Chocola is really irritating if you ask me a strange little girl who did fall in love with a king and gets mad because of something little and runs away from home tsss...
Enjoyment
:/ this was just to kill time for me, at first cause I heard to manga would be really good and I thought maybe the anime also... but I was wrong, if you wanna watch thise do it if you don't know what to watch but I recommend not to do it cause it will blow away like 10 minutes of you're life :/
Overall
*sights* alright people I can't say so mutch good about this, the only good thing was Kyoko which wasn't mutch in the anime at all, I mean if you name a anime after a character why isn't she in the anime then and a other character takes the lead, that was the baddest part from all... the story didn't make mutch sense also but... because I like the animemakers I give it still a 5, look up some other animes from them and you will love them for sure! read more

This anime was possibly one of the most average things you'll ever see in your life.
The story follows a pint-sized android girl with cat-like features named Chocola (not about the mostly elusive Kyoko who barely has a role in an anime titled after herself) and her life with a King. Now, this story is pretty rushed and shallow. The anime only runs for eleven minutes, and in these eleven minutes, we follow this chocolate-loving android as she does "cute" things like run away from the palace because she's angry, befriend robbers and travels through time. It's all played for comedic value, but trust me, the comedy runs rather thinly.
Given that this is definitely an old-school anime, you may argue that the art shouldn't look up to par with the stuff nowadays. I disagree. I've seen several anime made in the 80s and early 90s that look much better than some of the shows made in the 2000s, so age doesn't really serve as an excuse for poor animation and art. There is a certain vintage look to this anime--it looks like it came from the era of early Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z. So, for it's time, I suppose it wasn't that bad, but it certainly doesn't stack up in a present-day context.
The sound was pretty much a bunch of sparkly noises and gag-reels. It is light, dated, and poppy. Pretty cheerful as well. However, it isn't memorable. You won't recall this anime and go, "Wow, the sound was great!"
Characters just appeared out of nowhere and there was absolutely no development of them whatsoever. You can't even enjoy their flatness and one-dimensions very well because they show up and then disappear until they are needed. Chocola is a hit or miss sort of protagonist--you'd either find her entertaining or loathe the sight of her. Everyone else could have been trees or animals for all the audience is concerned, because they simply were not important at all.
However, there was something mildly, MILDLY entertaining about this anime. For me, I found humour somewhere in it. Such as the large, obvious dollar signs on the bandits loot bags. Small things like that I thought were humorous; the actual "jokes" sort of fell flat.
There's nothing truly special about Time Stranger Kyoko. It's utterly unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend this to anyone really.
It isn't awful--it's just awfully uninteresting. read more
