These 3 ova's are like a slap in the face for fans of the manga. For fans of both manga and the anime series (which was a good introduction to the story since it covers the first major story arc in the manga) these were such a tease and not necessarily in a good way. So why am I giving these 3 combined OVAs (though they are not really combined) a 4 for "Decent" ??? I have to look at them from the standpoint of a fan that only saw the anime.

If you have only seen the anime series then this is a mediocre read more

Don't let the 3 first episodes fool you! The OVA takes a huge step to what it's suppose to be after those 3 first episodes. Really enjoyed the show when I watched 4-7.

I recommend to watch the original show before checking out the OVA sense it's story continues after and they spoil some story about the original show and they also tells you the personality of the characters and you might not want to know that until you know them by watching the original show.

As a person who only watched the Anime I'd give it an 8,Since i really did enjoy myself. Yes, it did leave me wanting more but i rated this according to how much i enjoyed it, yes i did get pissed due to the fact that it left me wanting more of it but i wanted to be honest with how i rated this anime so personal feelings aside its a big FAT 8.

Story:The story was decent ,compared to the series the story was more fast paced and i liked it.The main protagonist had the same goals as when the series began.Well what can I read more

As there hasn't really been any proper reviews talking about every OVA as i have heard they are stopping at 11, i decided to write a review summing up every OVA, and I'm going to assume that you are reading this after watching all 50 episodes of the series, and seeing if this is worth checking out.

The story in these OVAs carry the same quality as the main series, but with it obviously progressing. The first few episodes are to give you a re-cap on each character and their personality, which i believe is fine as this OVA started 6 years after the main series read more

Anime: Tokyo Ghoul
both are bloody amazing animes with great stories
both main characters Fights for humanity
both animes have same atmosphere
For sure, if you liked one you'll like the other

Anime: Igano Kabamaru
Both are very funny/hilarious animes.
There is fighting in igano kabamaru, though it is not as epic as history strongest disciple kenichi.

They fight for the one they love or like. I would definitely recommend both these animes if you're looking for something to watch.

Anime: JoJo no Kimyou na Bouken (TV)
While Jojo's Bizarre Adventure takes it to a slightly higher level in terms of action and fighting, the Kenichi OVA's still manage to entertain the viewer by providing a well continuation of the prequel story and adds on top of that better art and animation which is similar to Jojo's art but also with better and more intense fights!
