Miyagawa Atsushi is an 11-year-old boy who is 180 centimeters tall. Since he has a grown-up looking build but acts his age, he has always been running into troubles. On the other hand, his 17-year-old elder sister Atsumi is only 137 centimeters tall. Even though she has a childish looking build, Atsumi takes good care of Atsushi.
One episode in, and I can tell this is going to be an anime I will rush to watch.
The episodes are extremely short but pack in so much humour that you'll wish there was much more.
The story rotates around a young boy Atsushi aged 11, and his sister Atsumi aged 17. Due to the height and appearance of each, it would be easy to mistake the boy for the older adult which leads to very humorous situations.
Simple everyday scenarios become impossible for Atsushi as even walking together with friends to school becomes, lets say difficult.
Honestly if you have three minutes, I seriously recommend watching. I know I'm very glad I did.
I don't know about the other reviews, but I don't find this funny. Danshi Koukousei no Nichijou is funny, Mitsudomoe is funny, Nichijou is funny, Kimi to boku is funny, 4 Koma Kill Me Baby is funny, but this is not funny.
The story is about a elementary schooler who looks like a full grown adult and his older sister who looks like a little girl who goes to high school.
This is a stroke of genius ladies and gentlemen(?)
The jokes aren't that well written and I have a feeling this anime is going to pull every molester joke in the book, I highly doubt it'll bring anything new to the table.
Then again there are always people seeing this type of humor for the first time and I don't blame them for laughing out loud. But looking through reactions,it's actually blowing my mind that people are finding this funny.
Either this guy has been left back 10 years, or he's in special education. I wonder if he still gets to go to the bath with his younger sister (Whoops, see how it's already fucking me up?), I mean older sister considering his age. It makes me sick just thinking about it.
If it isn't trying to pull off jokes it continues to drag on with the everyday lives of these two siblings. I remember this one scene where the older sister stands in front of the school vending machine for about a minute or so talking about how milk is going to make her taller.
It'd be really funny if it turns out he wasn't 11 years old and retarded after all and it was just some elaborate cover for... something I don't know. Just try and make me laugh.
The guy would be like: "I am your father."
The girl would be like: "Whut?"
But in all seriousness...

Overall this anime just gives me that uncomfortable feeling as it tries feebly to break my poker face. Thank goodness it's three minutes...
That's another thing... They really have to stop doing these three minute long shorts. They're not revolutionizing the field of anime story telling and definitely not contributing. It's a waste of time and resources, by resources I mean money, electricity, and the oxygen the people who make this consume.
Give the same pen, ink, and computer to people who really want to do something and you'll have something infinitely better than this anime.
This is proof that people can't think of something better to make an anime about... No effort at all.
No matter how short an anime is, I'd rather take the time slowly eating a whole delicious pizza and risk rupturing my stomach than take a teaspoon of defecation. Time flies then I watch good anime, time slows when I watch this...read more
I honestly like the concept of an elementary school student who looks like a high school student while his sister looks like an elementary school student. The first few episodes were cute, but then it started becoming cliché. I also don't understand how the adults could be so stupid. They notice Atsushi when he interacts with his young female friend but fail to notice that he takes the same route with him? No one tells anyone that he is a big boy? Despite having interesting art and sound, it fell short towards the end. On the plus side, it is a quick watch. Thus why I am having such a short review this time around.read more
AHHAHA. This anime is so hilarious. Its mainly about a boy who is 11 years old, he is super tall for his age, roughly around 180 centimeters, and his voice is SO deep as if he hit puberty. He also has a sister who's only 137 centimeters tall and is only 17 years old, which makes the anime funny. Sad thing though about the anime is that the boy still acts like a little kid, which adults may mistakenly take him as an adult man who is a pedophile toward kids. Very warm humorous anime.
