mindless feel good stuff to rewatch while multitasking

“feel good“ for me means protagonist must be sufficiently satisfyingly OP and low key dominate

no exact order, but generally according to satisfaction level
No Game No Life
TV, 2014, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
protagonists show off how extremely OP they are every second of every episode, just gotta ignore the weird sexual framing
Death Note
TV, 2006, 37 eps Me:- Author:10
the ultimate iconic OP battle of wits, but honestly gets a bit less badass after about ep25
One Outs
TV, 2008, 25 eps Me:- Author:10
is this even baseball anymore??? protagonist is cunning and underhanded and totally dominates with his wet ass brain
Overlord
TV, 2015, 13 eps Me:- Author:9
protagonist is like disproportionately OP and also unintentionally OP from being hyped up and misunderstood as a mastermind by everyone lol

brownie points for subordinates being inordinately OP as well
Kuroshitsuji
TV, 2008, 24 eps Me:- Author:7
protagonist is a short king with a nasty personality that dominates by using his literally supernaturally OP demon to do his bidding

personal favs are circus, murder, and public school arc for satisfaction factor
Kage no Jitsuryokusha ni Naritakute!
TV, 2022, 20 eps Me:- Author:9
protagonist is insanely OP and has a serious case of jyuunibyou, an objectively hilarious combination

normally I‘d find it frustrating that the protagonist tries to pass as a mob character, but it‘s surprisingly amusing here?? maybe because he‘s so dedicated to it out of like meme principle instead of dumb practical reasons or some other half assed motivation lol he‘s a fellow troll
Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei
TV, 2014, 26 eps Me:- Author:8
protagonist dominates in an understated way and his OPness is sort of gradually unveiled
Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken
TV, 2018, 24 eps Me:- Author:8
protagonist dominates in mostly wholesome ways, OP combat sequences are fun, especially bc he levels up his subordinates with him, and OP kingdom building is also quite fun
Quanzhi Gaoshou
ONA, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
watchable, 2nd season is superior, but honestly webnovel captures OPness way better, passable gateway to webnovel
Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai kara Kuru Sou desu yo?
TV, 2013, 10 eps Me:- Author:8
just here for when izayoi shows up and dominates, rest is kind of meh
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
protagonist tries to conceal OPness, but it still gradually shines through
One Punch Man
TV, 2015, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
protagonist‘s OPness generally isn‘t recognized by characters, but reactions are super satisfying when he dominates and people find out
Saiki Kusuo no Ψ-nan
TV, 2016, 120 eps Me:- Author:10
frustrating at times bc no one knows about protagonist‘s OPness and characters are exaggerated cliches, but viewer is still privy to the behind the scenes OP stuff, so it‘s still quite satisfying

also plain hilarious
Mob Psycho 100
TV, 2016, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
protagonist is OP but awkward and reserved, fight sequences are dope
Youjo Senki
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
Joker Game
TV, 2016, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
episodic, but protagonist of each ep dominates in their own way despite not being inhumanly OP
Paripi Koumei
TV, 2022, 12 eps Me:- Author:10
hilarious how protagonist applies his OP strategic abilities to building up an idol singer of all things
Sakamoto desu ga?
TV, 2016, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
Kakegurui
TV, 2017, 12 eps Me:- Author:9
maybe not OP in a conventional way, but protagonist still dominates with sheer vibes
Sword Art Online
TV, 2012, 25 eps Me:- Author:7
protagonist shows off OPness sufficiently only in the 1st half and in like 1 fight in the second half, lots to skip
Sword Art Online II
TV, 2014, 24 eps Me:- Author:7
once again only 1st half is decent, but GGO is where protagonist is the most satisfyingly OP in the whole franchise combined
Tensei shitara Ken deshita
TV, 2022, 12 eps Me:- Author:8
a bit silly to discuss how OP a sword is, but premise works for me
Kikansha no Mahou wa Tokubetsu desu
TV, 2023, 12 eps Me:- Author:6
feels more like a typical growth type shounen even though protagonist is quite OP bc of the journey focusing on improving the abilities of his team/mentees
Dr. Stone
TV, 2019, 24 eps Me:- Author:9
feels more like a typical growth type shounen due to the protagonist facing hell mode obstacles despite being in and of himself insanely OP
Shokugeki no Souma
TV, 2015, 24 eps Me:- Author:9
protagonist is only moderately OP due to others in-universe far outstripping him ability-wise, but he still dominates almost every encounter/trial
Yuukoku no Moriarty
TV, 2020, 11 eps Me:- Author:7
OP in a more understated, hidden manipulator in the shadows sort of way
