Comfort Romances
Anime
Comfort romance shows that aren't frustrating or upsetting. Nothing nonconsensual, no harems, fanservice and no weird age gaps. No love polygons cause they stress me out bro

A silly premise but the writers did a wonderful job with it. Adorable and romantic. It's very easy to watch. Characters feel real and likable, have good chemistry and they grow as people. The conflicts aren't upsetting and don't last long, they don't rely on the miscommunication trope to advance the plot. No queerbaiting. Plus they get together early on.

Perfect little fantasy love story. It has a lovable female lead, who honestly is more interesting than the male lead but they r cute anyways. All of the side characters are really fun too. Second season is worth the watch. Disney princess vibes all the way.

The anime version of the hurt/comfort trope. Learning to be loved and to love. They are together early on as well.

Very fun homey feeling fantasy romance, with a focus on cooking and a main character who is fun to root for and to watch overcome challenges. The male lead is cool af. They are together early on.

Sugary sweet fantasy romance. It doesn't get as much development as I'd like, and the second season does have a frustrating start but its still too cute to not recommend.

Adorable romance, they get together early on. The characters feel real and the main couple is very cute. The voice actors did a great job and so did the artists.
(Look, I KNOW I said no love polygons but this one is too good to be kicked out of the lineup. anyways the main characters don't waver in choosing each other so the love triangles don't mean shit)

Cool romance with great character dynamics and plot, however, it is a little censored.

literal sunshine put into anime. full of fluff. we get a lot of side couples in this one as well and it had me giddy and smiling the whole way through. Liesellotte is adorable :) it's a light, fun romance, it isn't anything out of this world but I gave it a high rating cause it does what it strives to do perfectly and is very special to me, no doubt I will be coming back to rewatch this <3

this is for anyone who enjoys a slow burn with plenty of sweet moments. It's charming and has a good ml and fl. It's got a (probably autistic) gamer guy who happens to get caught up in the whirlwind of Akane and her antics, and slowly softens to her. Super cute. Akane is adorable. All of the side characters are fun to watch. It won't be for you if you're looking for a fast-paced romance with the focus on after the relationship, but they don't do that thing where there's no development. Enjoy <3

You're missing out if you like romance and haven't watched this. It's like 100% fluff, and after finishing it my face hurt from smiling. You'll love this if you're sick of anime that drag out the couple getting together and relying on miscommunication. they also get together midway through the series. It's simply adorable. It's more slice of life, so if you're looking for something action-packed or plot-orientated this may not be for you.
