Funniest anime

Comedy is beautiful. It can be used to contrast serious scenes, create empathy and attachment to characters, illustrate themes of joy and unity, or very simply, for hee-hee ha-ha's. Whatever the case, I always appreciate it. Sometimes it's draining to watch serious anime, so I keep gravitating toward comedy anime to ease my mind.
Anime has a very unique type of comedy, at least compared to other types of media. I'm not sure if I'd say it's the funniest, but it's certainly the one I'm most comfortable with and keep coming back to. There's something so cozy and homey about it that's hard to find anywhere else.
