Just another GL stack
Manga
I'll be including everything I've read except for certain series which feel wrong and/or fetishizing. Feel free to let me know if you feel like there is a manga included in this stack that feels like it shouldn't be here.
I know this doesn't make the stack any more credible but, it was made by a sapphic person so at least you can be sure I won't be including any stuff that grosses me out.
(PS: More descriptions will be added later on)

Art by Biwan and story by seri.
CW: Some dark themes such as sexual assault are seen throughout the story.
This has to be one of the best series I've ever read, not only as a GL but in general that is. I might be biased since I love stories that take place in historical settings, however, I still can confidently say that this manhwa had a ton of stong points.
To me, the characters felt realistic and I liked the development in the main two's relationship. The romance wasn't rushed or forced and everything was happening in it's own pace. Romantic elements weren't even the main focus actually, which is something I usually prefer in series like this as it leads to having good world building and a proper story besides just romance.
It's clear that there are points which can be improved upon, but the greatness of the story makes up for it.

A manga by Tamifull.
!!!Has some explicit scenes!!! (Although MAL says otherwise)
I truly love this manga. It's certainly not your cookie cutter GL, or your cookie cutter romance story even. The characters are all written very realistically with flaws and good sides. With some flaws being bigger than others and some characters even contradicting with themselves you see how well they are written (This makes it sound as if I am being sarcastic but I'm being honest, real people contradict with themselves so it's good to have that in a story in my opinion!). At a certain point, this realism leads to you not liking the main characters and actually being very frustrated over their actions. But to me, that's an enjoyable frustration. And with new likeable characters being added later on and with the characters developing personality-wise, your frustration lessens after a while.
When it comes to the explicit scenes, they don't feel like they are fetishizing or sexualizing the characters. They have a reason to be in the story, and most of these scenes give us more information about the characters or show a relationship development. It's one of the best use of intimate LGBT scenes I've seen, especially when it comes to Japanese media.

A manga by Nagata Kabi.
Although it's hard and even kind of disrespecful(?) to call this a GL manga (and now that I'm looking on the page for this, I see that it's not tagged as GL anymore on MAL), I think it's still worth putting in here.
I enjoy reading memoirs or autobiographical manga/books which are presented in a simple but artistic way. Which may be why I liked reading this manga as much as I did.
The manga is a memoir by the author Nagata Kabi which includes many of the problems she experiences in life. While most of the problems handled in this manga are mental illness, loneliness and guilt, sexual frustration and the experience of being gay also takes up a big part of it. The comedic execution of the story and the author suddenly hitting close to home with certain quotes really makes me love this manga. The main character -or the way Nagata Kabi portrays herself- is easy to sympathise with and is very likeable also.
It's very much worth reading, and there are many sequels of the story which get into more detail about Nagata Kabi's mental state. I haven't read them all as of yet, but I do reccomend them also.

A manhwa by Team Aemae
!!!Has a lot of explicit scenes!!!
Although I generally find most explicit works to be a bit fetishizing, for some reason it wasn't the case for this one. It's an enjoyable manhwa in my opinion, the main story needs some work and I'd like it more if it didn't depend so much on the explicit parts but it's honestly not bad.
It's also unfortunately discontinued.
