It's Spy x Family. Enough said.
Side note, I watched this with my mom, and she enjoyed it.

I was laughing constantly watching this. My grandma, who had helped raise me died earlier that year, and for covid reasons I'd been forced to drop out of high school, but this show made me laugh. It brings back fond memories even just looking at still images from it.

I'm a total whore for pastel colors and kawaii stuff. Beelzebub's fashion choices actually shaped my own. I wear lolita fashion, and oh my god did I want to be her. (I also grew my hair out to 40 inches, got a hime cut, and am seriously considering going blonde)

Adorable show. It's just so impossibly cute. Those first few episodes are just perfect.

One of the best romances I've seen in a while. Started strong, and kept the momentum. The whole way through I kept thinking, "Is this the episode where they finally drop the ball?" and it just never happened. Pretty sure I binge watched both seasons in less than 2 days, which is rare for me.

I'm a sucker for garbage isekai and otome stuff. An anime putting the two together was bound to end up on this list let's just be honest here. Got me obsessed with villainess isekai for months.

I liked the art style in this one so much, that my favorite things in it started worming themselves into my own artwork, and the voice acting scratches just the right part in my brain

I love otome isekai in general, but this one has a more realistic take on it that makes it stand out. I just like the vibe

I watch a lot of isekai, and I've gotten very familiar with just about every common trope you'll find in the genre, so this one really gets me. I read the LN and the manga before this came out, and I was really hyped to hear this was getting an anime.
It was everything I'd hoped it would be. To capture the real beauty of the parody here it has to be done 110%. If you skip out on any of the drama you lose something. I'm so glad they went all in, and I think I'll probably laugh at the word atomic for years now.

This is the kind of funny that I go around annoying people with clips of every time I'm reminded of it's existence. I think I've shown my mom the jam clip so many times that she might have it memorized by now.

Normally, I'm not too into CGI, especially the cell shaded, fake-linearted CGI that you usually see in anime. I'm a 2D artist, so I tend to notice things other people might not, but usually the shadows jitter, the eyes look like stickers, and the hair is mapped as chunks (because of hardware limitations) so it ends up kind of looking like clay. It doesn't have to look bad, but usually it's trying to imitate the 2D sections it's sandwiched between, and it ends up looking vastly inferior.
Etotama avoids that by making the CGI sections a completely different art style, and take advantage of the medium with interesting fight choreography and moving camera angles. It looks so good, actually, that I use it as a benchmark for all other CGI in anime.

This anime cursed me. I loved it so much that I've watched just about every trash isekai that's come out before or since hoping that I could recapture the feeling Tensura gave me. So far, I haven't found anything else, but I don't think I could stop trying at this point, even if I wanted to. Thanks to that though, ive found quite a few of the anime on this list.

I don't know why I like this one, to be honest. By every metric it's generic isekai trash, just like the 4 billion other shows out there like it, but there's something about this one that just works. I don't know why, but this particular trash is extraordinary.

This actually makes me want to play an MMO sometimes, but, regretfully, no game could actually be as fun as this in real life. But, in a way, that's what makes this so fun to watch. A normal teenage girl gets to play a game, without getting trolled, or hit on by creepy guys twice her age. It's just fun.

Normally I'm not into sports anime, in fact, I kind of avoid it. I don't play sports, I don't watch sports, I actively dislike sports when I've had to interact with them in the past. So, it actually surprised me how much I liked haikyuu. I watched every bit of haikyuu content I could get my tiny goblin hands on as quickly as I could. In retrospect I almost regret it, I wish I had more to watch now lol.

I had a breakdown from may to september 2022 where I was having waves of panic attacks sometimes lasting 12-13 hours at a time where I was just incapacitated with fear. Like when you lean too far back in a chair, but it would just keep going on for hours. In the summer, my mom figured out that she could distract me by playing anime OP guessing videos, and just letting me figure it out.
The OP for Paripi Koumei came on quite a few times, and I liked it enough that I decided to watch it once I chilled out a bit. I didn't get to watch it until November, but when I did, Eiko's story hit me at just the right time. I'm so glad I got around to watching this.

This was the first anime I ever watched (well, knowing what anime was. My first anime was something my mom showed me called Witch Hunter Robin.)
I can still vividly remember watching this on the projector in the room of my middle school's anime club, while the resident otakus talked about blue exorcist behind me, and wondering why the english dub's OP sounded so off key. A couple of the other kids made a running commentary on the visual metaphors the whole time. It's here for nostalgia points

Well animated, funny, sexy, likeable characters, and YURI.
I'm a girl who's into other girls, but I don't usually like most yuri much. I always feel like either it's completely sexless, rapey, or it feels like it was made for men exclusively.
While, logically, I know that it was probably made for men, I feel like this was written by someone who actually understands what makes lesbian relationships special.

Gonna be honest, I cant stand zombies or any zombie media. There was a time in my life where my anxiety was so bad I'd have recurrent delusions about the zombie apocalypse starting, and I've hated them ever since. I like this one though. I'ts too good to dislike it.

Near the beginning of the Wethermon arc, my computer died, and I built my new PC in a day. Everything worked fine, except for my wireless adapter, which was defective.
That meant that I could only connect to wifi (poorly) for an hour or two per day. I got a new wifi adapter, and the problem is gone now, but do you wanna know what I used the hour or so of wifi for every day?
That's right, to catch up with this anime. It's just that good.

Ahhh yes, the mother of isekai. I remember watching this as a middle schooler, and feeling something about the setting resonate with me on a level I didn't quite understand, I now know it was the power of isekai.
Also, I use people's opinions of Louise as a vibe check. Like her or not, that's cool, but if you have a BURNING HATRED for louise, we can't be friends lol

I casually listen to the soundtrack all the time, the animation is beautiful, and while I may be a pink kinda bitch, this show almost made me wanna start wearing red and black.
Also, this is the reason I get excited when I hear hayami saori in other anime now. I know what she's capable of
