Both series are about an offbeat high school boy and his supernatural girlfriend, with plot elements including attempts to better understand her unusual situation and dark past, their developing relationship, and her desire to be a normal girl. Sankarea is overall lighter in tone compared to Tasogare Otome, but they both have serious and dramatic moments in spades.

Both anime are somewhat similar because the female MC's are not normal human being, the girl in sankarea is a zombie while in tasogare the girl is a ghost. Both anime are good and has a similar feeling when you watch it.
Both have quite similar plot especially the unusual romance between a human and the dead.

Both deal with issues of death--although this show has a ghost and Sankarea has a zombie, the relationships they have with their respective main characters is pretty similar as well.

Both deal with romance between a human boy and a non human girl. Both have ecchi in them and you will likely find the story in each to be darker than what you might expect.
Both series features the theme of the supernatural and undead as the main female protagonist bonds with the male protagonist after certain events.
Both series contains a story that is mixed with drama, comedy, some ecchi, emotions, and romance.
Both series has a similar feeling.
Both Anime is about love after death, one is zombie and other one is ghost is kinda the same.....
Pretty much the same "weird" romance, both have also some mystery to unfold and the characters are quite funny!
Supernatural love interests the anime. With one being a zombie and the other being a ghost. Both have a above average main character, encountering a interesting girl.
Both anime have an unusual coupling. In Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, its boy-ghost, while in Sankarea, the love interest is boy-zombie. They were both also released and ended around the same time. However, the animation styles are a little different but the main girl characters look similar.
The story lines are both similar as well as the main girl character looks like each other.
Both main heroines are of supernatural origin that want to enjoy the happiness of a normal life while the main male protagonists search for answers to their conditions.

Both contain Romance between the living and the living dead. As well as helping each other out and looking out for each other in their day to day lives.

Similarities:
+ Romance stories about high school students, and the brought-back-to-life female lead
+ Similar mixes of comedy, drama, and a little horror
Differences:
- The girl in Amnesia is a ghost who can only be seen by a few people while in Sankarea the girl is a zombie
- Amnesia has much more of a school setting and a much bleaker atmosphere while Sankarea takes place in more places and has more fanservice
Both anime are about a main character falling in love with a girl that is deceased/undead/dead/whatever you may call it.
Getting an undead girl friend and helping them with their undead problems. Nice drama and romance for each of them.
Both get pretty dark at some point. In Dusk Maiden the girl starts just teasing the few people who can see her and discovering how she died, why she hasn't moved on, and discovering her dark side which keeps her here. In Sankarea it quickly gets to why the girl wants to die and become a zombie, the rest being dealing with a person stuck inside a corpse and can't be shown off too much.
I first watch Sankarea and loved it till the last moment, later I found Tasogare Otome x Amnesia and went into it thinking it would be almost as good as Sankarea. It did not disappoint me with how it turned out.
Personal score: Sankarea 10/10 Tasogare Otome x Amnesia 9/10
Sankarea and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia involve a girl that has died.
The comedy is funny and will make you laugh through episodes.
Very different romance anime.
Sankarea is a very unique anime that you will probably wont see anything close it to.
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia is also unique in its own way.

Its kind of a love story about some regular guy and supernatural long black haired bishoujo with a nice art and good storyline
Both shows revolve around a romance where one character is no longer of the living. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia (Tasogare Otome x Amnesia) follows a boy who falls in love with a ghost while Sankarea is about a boy who's love interest becomes a zombie. Tasogare Otome has the darker atmosphere of the two shows, while Sankarea has a much brighter look. Tasogare Otome has more of the ghost story feel where Sankarea is more a love story.

Both follow a blooming romance between a regular human and a supernatural being (zombie in Sankarea, ghost in Tasogare) and the hardships that come with a relationship like this. They are both comedic, dramatic, and romantic, however Tasogare does have themes of horror involved as well, while Sankarea is on the lighter side.

These anime are extremely similar as they are both focused on a main character helping a 'dead' girl to adjust and face their demons.
Amnesia seemed a bit darker than Sankarea to me and deals with a more mental issue.

The series has similar main female leads, with long black hair and supernatural backgrounds. A boy will help them and likes them. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia really does have good animation, a bit of horror with comedy and it's interesting to figure out her mysterious past.

If you liked Tasogare Otome x Amnesia there is a good chance that you may like Sankarea.
-The mc is atracted to occult(In Tasogare Otome x Amnesia the mc is intrested in ghosts,in Sankarea in zombies)
-Both anime are about loving something different,non-human
-Tasogare Otome x Amnesia has a more tragic ending than Sankarea and the relantionship between the mc and the undead girl(ghost/zombie) advances more.

In death, they found a reason to live. Both shows have the same aura in the way they portray the afterlife. Sankarea has a pleasantly morbid narration and Tasogare Otome is a story of inner conflict, yet both take a similar approach to how they allow the characters to grow. A thoughtful and mellow watch.
If you enjoyed sankarea then you will enjoy this one to and the other way around.

It's a good romance that's actually technically necrophilia, but we don't talk about that.
Tasogare Otome x Amnesia was one of the first anime I've really had to binge watch because I was enveloped in the story, and while it turns darker than Sankarea further on, they're still both enjoyable romances that are technically necrophilia
