I have watched anime for only a year now.. :)
Kobato was my first anime! Do you know it? It is so kawaii!
But I did watched pokemon and stuff like that when I was young ;P

When you watch an anime, it has genre's.
Kaichou-wa Maid Sama for example has the genre's 'comedy' and 'romance'
Other genre's are 'action' , 'mecha' (<-- mechanic, = robots and stuff), 'sci-fi',
'fantasy' and so on.

Shounen-ai/yaoi you mean? It's not a manga, but a genre.
Like you have the genres shojo, mecha, romance etc ;P

I use manga only for shounen-ai/yaoi.. since I love that and there just aren't enough anime's of that (seen almost every yaoi/shounen-ai anime out there)..
