Hi everyone!
Unlike many others here, I discovered anime quite late. Yes, when I was in school there were Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball and some other classics, but they didn't catch my attention back then. It was only a few years ago, when I - as a dedicated film lover - got to know the works of Makoto Shinkai and Satoshi Kon, and it opened the door to a whole new world.
So I became an anime fan when I was over 30 years old - the Lord works in misterious ways. Nevertheless I find that there is much to love in them, be it the amazing stories or the gorgeous art, which for me far surpass the majority of western animation.
I like films and series with more mature oriented content, but I can highly enjoy the wacky adventures of the SOS Brigade :)
As sort of a diary for myself, here are some cornerstones of my anime career:
#001: Grave of the Fireflies (2011.11.14.)
#050: Kara No Kyoukai 3 - Remaining Sense of Pain (2014.09.08.)
#100: Haibane Renmei (2015.01.22.)
#150: Monster (2015.10.20.)
#200: Barefoot Gen (2016.12.04.)
#250: I want to eat your pancreas (2019.02.09.)
#300: Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon A Time (2022.02.03.)
