- SHOUJO-AI / ALL GIRLS SCHOOL SERIES / GIRL GROUPS
I like watching CGDCT shows. They're a mix of stupidity comedy, light drama, and sometimes action and romance. They often have pointlessly good character designs and animation as well. I prefer watching tons of all girls school-based Animes. Anything will do, though I prefer the ones with less dramas. Examples: "Love Live! School Idol Project", "Aikatsu!", all of "PreCure" and "Toaru Kagaku no Railgun".

- NON-SENSICAL / COMEDY / PARODY
While I value plots and other serious elements, stress-free shows are always welcome. Since I'm generally a serious person, watching serious series can get a bit boring - so I always see to it that I have enough comedic Animes in stack. I prefer ones with pretty good art/character design and awesome gags - cuteness is not everything anyways. The ones I love are: "Haiyore! Nyaruko-san", "Love Lab", and "Kiniro Mosaic". "Minami-Ke" and "Nichijou" are good examples too.
Considering the series where this GIF came from, putting it under
the "Comedy" category is quite funny in itself.
- TRAGEDY
This is my most favorite genre but I couldn't bring myself to write it down first. Haha! I don't 'always' love Animes with tragic ending, but most of the ones I "really" love did not end the way I wanted them to. You can say that series like those have more impact. Without further ado, examples would be: "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica" and "Ano Hana".
Note: To be honest, I don't really consider "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso" a tragic love story. But I might as well mention it; I think it was totally expected - what happened - and it ended beautifully. "Ano Hana" was the same, yet different. Idk.
So what is more tragic than this pairing? Oh yeah, there's Kumiko and Reina.
- ROMANTIC COMEDY
It's pretty difficult to find treasures under this category. Some can fit in the genre but most of them are pretty trying-hard in the 'comedy' department - which is a big turn off really. So I just can't help but give a "10" to those that hit the correct spot, namely: "Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun" and "Ore Monogatari!!" . I'm in love!

- ROMANCE FANTASY / SUPERNATURAL
I love Animes with Yokais (if they're not portrayed in a gruesome manner). I'm quite fascinated with Japanese Myths and I often read about them in the internet, so it's very nice to see animated depictions of the Gods and Goddesses. I especially love the combo: a bit of fantasy x romance x comedy x action. Example: "Kamisama Hajimemashita", "Inu x Boku SS" and "Inari Kon Kon Koi Iroha".
The traditional clothes look fab.
- HAREM
I hate how indecisive the male characters usually are in Harems, but I love the fact that there are a lot of archetypes being shown. In short, I can put up with the main character's idiocy for the sake of TV tropes. Most likely, the only harem with a fairly decent main male character would have to be "Date A Live", I think "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" has one too.
Rito is kind but waaaaaay too clumsy.

I usually watch action/mystery anime or Romance anime but I like most anime in general to be honest xD
I have work today sadly, i'm about to leave actually. Its only a six hour shift though so its not too bad.
