These both are mangas about people attempting to solve mysteries. There are lots of references to studies done in the para sciences and the supernatural is approached from a logical viewpoint. Also, in both stories there are characters who have some sort ofl power that is helpful towards uncovering the truth. Expect equal parts horror and comedy.

These mangas share similar characters: a young girl who lives with a protective older man, a beautiful rival woman and various cameos by nosy demons/vampires. The young girl is in love with older man and has to deal with the difficulties of not being quite the same age. Both stories are pretty episodic and have a lot of fluff.

These both are sweet stories. They share a similar story line dealing with children who live with a relative who does not really know how to take care of them. Also, each one is sure to make you cry and laugh.

These mangas have a very similar feel to them. The main characters scare off their classmates unintentionally. However, they both work very hard to become more approachable. Along the way, they go through many trials in their effort to make friends and be properly understood.

Obaka-chan is definitely shoujo while Gokusen is a bit more of josei. However these two mangas still share some similarities. Both are set around a class of delinquents/misfits that are looked down on by others. Both mangas follow oblivious female characters through a lot of humor, violence, and awkward romance.

Overall, I think they have a very similar feel and that if you liked one, you'll definitely like the other.

They mangas each have delinquent high school students (who aren't that bad underneath it all) going around and getting into trouble. The art style in both is simple and the dialogue funny. These mangas are hilarious and if you like one, you will definitely like the other.

These both are very cute mangas that deal with demons and their good/bad powers. Also, they each touch on relationships between a demon and a human.

Both of these mangas deal with a character who doesn't really have any friends and doesn't really belong. This character ends up meeting various eccentric type people who become her friends and introduce her to a different life.

To Be is more focused on romance, whereas Beauty Pop is focused more on the beauty aspect... but these both share the plot of students striving in a hairstyling world. I think if you like one, you will definitely like the other.

Both series feature an energetic female character who is trying to make it in the acting business. This character has to deal with entertainment issues, as well as all the trials of real life. If you liked one, you'll like the other... especially if you are looking for something that is funny, interesting and unique.

The main characters in these two mangas are fairly similar. Both girls are energetic and not really used to the "pretty" role. Personality wise: they are a little bit strange, highly reactive emotionally, and somewhat awkward in social situations. The main male character is a cool guy who acts as a teacher to the main character. Overall, these are both very funny mangas with interesting situations happening all of the time.

These mangas share a very similar art style. Also, the main character is a lower class girl at a rich school. The romance is somewhat similar and the main female characters share an inability to cook or be domestic in anyway.

These both share the common element of a split personality, with the base personality being quiet/shy and the split personality being violent/crazy. Change is way ecchi, but they both deal with a kind hearted guy who is trying to help the girl out.

When reading Penguin Brothers I kept thinking how similar it was to Skip Beat. These two mangas share VERY similar main characters.... The main character in both of these is a fierce, but simple-minded female who can hold her own against many different opponents including bullies. Both characters are very likable and make friends with lots of people who seem like enemies at first. Also, the lead has a difficult goal which she is trying to accomplish. There are many obstacles in the way for these characters, but both work very hard to overcome them.

These mangas share very similar plots. They both are set in an all boys school that is converting to a co-ed school. The main characters in both are females who are pretty much at the mercy of a bunch of rabid guys. One of the boys must save these girls from all the other guys.

Both of these mangas deal with singers who meet a high school girl outside of the showbiz world. The singers are different then the way they act on stage. The girls have to deal with the difficulties of loving someone in a world a part.

Ichigo Channel and Skip Beat share the common element of comedy, romance and showbiz. The main character is a female lead who does not appear to most to be the typical celebrity face. Both of these main characters are up and coming stars who have to work hard to learn their jobs. Both main characters do not start out wanting to actually become an actor/model, but eventually find themselves deciding upon that career.

The main character in both of these are somewhat tom boyish and must learn all the skills of their trade. They have men who help them out on the way. And both are rising stars that must deal with hiding their identities. Bonus: they share a manipulative, but cute manager.

...then you might like 7-genme wa Himitsu. add

These both share the teacher/student romance. 7th PiaS is a little more serious, but both are very cute short stories that focus on a friendly/popular main character who falls for the outgoing/funny teacher.

...then you might like Sono Te Wo Dokero add

These mangas are intense dramas that have quite a bit of comedy and action. Both of these share supernatural and psychological themes that tend to be unsettling. Also, the characters are very similar. Udou/BaroqueHeat = flirty and goofy. Tatsuki/Alzeid = offstandish, quiet, and strong. Rahzel/Kotarou = strong morals, short temper and always getting into trouble. If you like one, I'm sure you'll like the other.

These both share a similar main female character who is excitable and tends to turn into a blob when kissed. Both are comedies and have good looking guy leads.

Fruits Basket is more developed, but these have the same backbone storyline. Both stories follow a somewhat naive, kind hearted girl who doesn't have parents. This girl ends up living with three guys, while working as their maid. The three guys she ends up living with are the perverted/friendly type, the princely type, and the awkward/honest type. If you enjoyed the humorous interactions in one, you will definitely like the other.

Of the two Skip Beat is definitely better, but if you are looking for a story about an up and coming model/actor these two definitely compare. Both of these have a strong female lead who is quirky and tomboyish. Also, they have similar settings and side characters.

Both of these shows have male characters who start out as the rookie, but quickly acquire skills. The main character in both end up battling it out with increasingly powerful opponents and then often make friends with these opponents afterwards. Both have supporting friends who are not as powerful, but help out all they can. Air Gear definitely shares that similar shounen/action vibe.

These two are similar in that there is a girl in a dorm with guys, the girl begins a relationship with the head of the dorm, and the guy is a badass fighter.

Both are ecchi with a girl who is thrown in a situation where it is purely guys. The guys are all dangerous and there is one guy who helps protect her.
