I believe there is a small problem with your Clannad review. In the whole context, you have been berating the anime from the very beginning but i find it hard to believe that you actually hate it.
You must have watched this series more than 5 times for you to know so much about it. The first time you saw it, you must have been really disappointed, but you could not figure out what caused your despair so you blamed the series on its whole, especially the 'After story'. Then you saw it again and started to make out faults in every bit.
Then you decided the series itself is wrong and to prove this theory you saw it again to find evidence. It probably took you few more tries to finalize your views and an hour or so to write the review and when all was done, you felt a sense of satisfaction, even more so when you saw the comments on the review, all the while ignoring the main problem between you and Clannad.
You felt disappointed, not because the series was bad or that it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to be. you felt bad because the story itself was sad.
In fact, every story written by Jun Maeda and Key productions are supposed to be sad. so in the end, the problem with you was that you hated the story because the whole series was making you feel bad about the characters and you must have envisioned so many different outcomes and then you find out that the hero can just reset the world for it to be a happy ending.
Believe it man, you are a die hard fan of Clanned, and that's why you hate it so much.

Lol that clannad review. Art 8/10 because of moe Ost 6/10 because of moe. What are you biased son? ;)

don't take this the wrong way. fuck your clannad review. anime is not realistic so it shouldn't need to be realistic. that review rubbed me the wrong way.

Thank you so much for your recommendation on UN-GO/ConRevo! I've watched ConRevo first and absolutely loved it. And UN-GO turned out to be the next best thing.

Haha, it's no problem! I'll definitely give it a read.

Hey, dude! I just finished Un-Go and I read your comparison to Concrete Revolutio, and I would agree they are very similar. It's strange because Shinjurou and Jiro are very similar characters, yet at the same time, a lot of their beliefs are the complete opposite. For example, Shinjurou believes there's no such thing as heroes especially during war; however, Jiro has pretty much lived his entire life with the idea that heroes exist, and with his own aspirations to become a hero.

I don't agree with your view of Clannad at all. I respect it, but I don't agree. You should try to do the same when writing a review.. Respect that other people may find it interesting, rather than deciding that people should be thinking like you. The review is old though, so maybe your type of writing has changed..

Your Clannad review gives me life. I completely agree with all the points mentioned.

Your clannad review is quite spot-on. Thanks for taking the time reviewing it

Your clannad review made it so much easier to put my hatred of clannad into words, when trying to explain why I hate it so much to some of my friends who adore the anime. And doesn't understand how anyone could dislike such "Masterpiece". So thank you, your review is basically exactly what I though of the anime. (Although I disliked it even more than that.)

Kind of, i didn´t disliked Fuuko. It wasn´t the best character there ofc but it didn´t pissed me off xD.

Well when you get interested in a girl, sometimes you get interested just because you got interested. There isn´t any rule for love(i truly believe since the first episode that he was fallen in love for Nagisa) and if you look at it in that way, then it already makes sense why Tomoya helped her ^^.

Anyway i don´t know if you played the VN but i do know from a friend who spent hours playing it that the VN is pretty fucked up. One of the routes when Tomoya ends up with Tomoyo, she makes a blowjob for him *.*.

Hello. I liked clannad, and some points of your review are totally right, i'm not here to blame your review !

I'm here to answer to your question : Why Tomoya helped a random girl ?

If you payed attention to the begginig, since the first time he met her, he got interested in her. After that, he saw her alone eating her launch and he decided to take the chance and go talk to her .. since he was interested he decided to help her out.

Well about the other girls, i think the point was to make him a good guy for in the second season, Clannad after story, make us care about him.

Well anyway, fuuko behaves like a child because she is a child, that's all i have to say about her xD
