Wow, your wall is entirely filled up with people taking issue/agreeing with your Clannad review :p

Lol @ at all these butthurt Clannad fans. Really shows the target demographic for that show. Your review was fantastic. Nailed every point I've been trying to tell people for years about that overrated garbo.

I totally got bored of it right after I posted that. I might eventually force myself to finish, but who knows when.

it doesn't help that every girl in that show has eyes the size of my cellphone, contrasting creepily with the males who all have normal anime eyes.

Nice Clannad review. You concisely communicated the issues I'm having with it 9 episodes in.

No dude, i didn't mean that, and as expected you took my comment in the wrong way. I didn't mean to say that your review was full of lies, all i was saying is that your true feelings lie elsewhere. You may think that you're right but to me, you sound like a tsundere girl from animes who say something and mean something else. Im not saying that Clannad is perfect, in fact i myself have only watched it once. But you know, i had already forgotten the names of the characters, some parts of the plot and more than that, the details like the childlike voices or their attitudes, and don't get me wrong, my memory is just fine, i only remember such details of an anime that i like or i hate. What you have for the anime is hate, but hate is not opposite of love, Hate is just love gone bad. That's what i tried to explain, you loved that anime but then you were disappointed so, you started to hate it. If you truly had the feeling opposite of love for Clannad then that would be Apathy. I wouldn't have given a damn about it, much less write a review of that size.

I believe there is a small problem with your Clannad review. In the whole context, you have been berating the anime from the very beginning but i find it hard to believe that you actually hate it.
You must have watched this series more than 5 times for you to know so much about it. The first time you saw it, you must have been really disappointed, but you could not figure out what caused your despair so you blamed the series on its whole, especially the 'After story'. Then you saw it again and started to make out faults in every bit.
Then you decided the series itself is wrong and to prove this theory you saw it again to find evidence. It probably took you few more tries to finalize your views and an hour or so to write the review and when all was done, you felt a sense of satisfaction, even more so when you saw the comments on the review, all the while ignoring the main problem between you and Clannad.
You felt disappointed, not because the series was bad or that it didn't turn out the way you wanted it to be. you felt bad because the story itself was sad.
In fact, every story written by Jun Maeda and Key productions are supposed to be sad. so in the end, the problem with you was that you hated the story because the whole series was making you feel bad about the characters and you must have envisioned so many different outcomes and then you find out that the hero can just reset the world for it to be a happy ending.
Believe it man, you are a die hard fan of Clanned, and that's why you hate it so much.

Lol that clannad review. Art 8/10 because of moe Ost 6/10 because of moe. What are you biased son? ;)
Yuki_Nonaka Feb 11, 2017 2:28 AM
don't take this the wrong way. fuck your clannad review. anime is not realistic so it shouldn't need to be realistic. that review rubbed me the wrong way.

Thank you so much for your recommendation on UN-GO/ConRevo! I've watched ConRevo first and absolutely loved it. And UN-GO turned out to be the next best thing.
RogerSmith2004 Apr 4, 2016 5:54 AM
Haha, it's no problem! I'll definitely give it a read.
RogerSmith2004 Mar 29, 2016 8:45 PM
Hey, dude! I just finished Un-Go and I read your comparison to Concrete Revolutio, and I would agree they are very similar. It's strange because Shinjurou and Jiro are very similar characters, yet at the same time, a lot of their beliefs are the complete opposite. For example, Shinjurou believes there's no such thing as heroes especially during war; however, Jiro has pretty much lived his entire life with the idea that heroes exist, and with his own aspirations to become a hero.
