GAH! I just wrote you a long reply, and it deleted itself 'couse I clicked the "ctrl T" on my computer [new tab...]... for some reason o.o'

I'm great sweetie, I'm great- I went to Aicon today [a lot of hot guys making out for hours on end... it's completly sane...]- it's a convention ^^ For shounen-ai... -squueee- It was SO awesome, and the five guys where such bishounen... and and and... I took PICTURES! =D
lol... I think I need to get a life or something, and stop reading shounen-ai/yaoi =3
How about you, you okies? ^^

Those are three awesome anime's, they really are ^^ [Only watched Tsubasa, and part of Shugo Chara as anime, though].
I love the mangas =3
Think the anime of Shugo Chara has more "Amuto" moments than the manga does.. which is by no means a bad thing ;)
Only thing is that Ikuto's a 17 year old hanging around with 13 year olds -sigh- [I'm wishing for a plot twist where it turns out he's a mature 14 year old, who skipped 3 grades- couse he's a prodgedy =D].
And Tsubasa is truly... something... the manga is HEAPS better than the anime though, I'm afraid [though I love the anime too- you just need to watch the OVA's afterwards though- THEY are the real plot boosters... (they actually follow the manga o.o' I think they couldn't make the anime like the manga couse of too mature contents {blood and gore I reckon... or something O.o'})]- but I really do reckomend it... I wait [im]patiently for the chapters that come out =3
The plot is so... very... CUTE right now ^^ [though it makes you reconcider the whole "who came first; the hen or the egg" thing all over again...]- also I love.. errm... Syaoran and Sakura -huggles- and FAI! [probably one of my fave characters =D]
It makes sense to read/watch Card Captor Sakura though [even though it is no prequel or anything of the sort =)- I just loved the manga xD]
Which reminds me, I should read xxxHolic O.o'

I did read Fruits Basket... =3 -love-
Well, the thing about the manga and anime, is that the anime ends at about chapter 33, out of 136- so you can imagine how much the anime actually LEFT out [it was more or identical up to this point =S].. lol ^^
You want to know what happens? -willing to tell you, if you'd like- [sort of want to x3]...

I swear... I am ADDICTED to Tsubasa Reservois Chronicles- its simply not HEALTHY... -.-' And I finished the manga for Card Captor Sakura... -drool- I LOVED the ending way better than the anime's ending... just so much more... sugary sweet and adorable =3
+ I love how Tsubasa is seeming to tigh in rather tightly with CCS... =S [after CCS is actually set... so when they're older... kinda thing... hard to explain ;)]
And and and... I started chobits yesterday! =D=D
It's sooo cute... I have a feeling it goes futher than the anime, because I've only read 14 chapters as of yet, and it seems to have moved rather quickly the whole storyline ^.^
Can't wait to read more...

Hey no worries, I'm not one to expect an instant reply; I tend not to be so quick myself.

I seem to recall needing to see some light-hearted comedy after Elfen Lied. The ending was nice but it was a bit depressing. That poor puppy… still, they got what was coming to them. =D

As for Ghost Hunt, an alright watch so far but I wouldn't exactly call it scary. Well maybe just a little but it's quite funny too.
It's broken into several chapters like Higurashi was, making it ideal for me. I like to watch a few episodes then go and so something else then maybe come back and watch a few more.

I finally got around to watching Cowboy Bebop and Kino's Journey, two that I've wanted to see for quite a while and both making my top 5 immediately! Bebop gets a lot of hype so I wondered if it was really deserved and it certainly is. Reminds me of Firefly/Serenity. Did you ever watch that? I loved it. So sad it was cut short though.
And Kino's Journey was very interesting. Quite thought provoking and reminiscent of Mushishi in the way it's delivered. It's another to add to my to-buy list whenever I get the chance. I already feel like I want to watch it again. >_<

Worse than Higurashi? Hard to say. I think Elfen Lied is more emotionally dark. Maybe the same amount of violence, but it's shorter so it might seem like more.
Certainly very contrast to Mushishi. I don't want to go on about it, but it is amazing. It's not #5 top anime of MAL for nothing. =D

Mmm Elfen Lied has the only scene that has really shocked me. I sat there for a moment going "OMG you can't do that! That's just not right!"
People being ripped apart, blown up, torn to pieces, dismembered; not a problem! But that poor... I won't spoil it for you. You'll just have to see for yourself. XD

I can certainly recommend a few, all of which I think are unmissable (and just happen to be on my favourites, purely coincidence I assure you).

Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo - It's centred around time travel but isn't cluttered with technobabble at all. It's all about consequences and what would happen if we could change time. Really, really amazing film.

Mushishi - 26 episode series, each one tells an amazing story of these spirit-like lifeforms and the effect on the people around them, all set in jaw-dropping scenery. This is the single greatest anime I've ever seen.

Azumanga Daioh - To the outset this looks like just another school life comedy, but to me it's the one that all others are judged by. I can't remember how many times I've laughed out loud and still do every time I see it. Characters are lovable, jokes are plentiful and fanservice is non-existent.

OK that'll do for a while. XD
I think you'll do just fine with Higurashi. It goes from cute to creepy and back to cute again. Sure there's some blood-curdling moments, but you can shut your eyes for those parts! =p

And 0 dropped? You must have much better stamina than me. I drop shows all the time. I even dropped ef - a tale of memories before a friend on here persuaded me to pick it back up again. Very good advice it was too. Well worth it.
