Steins;Gate

Did you love Steins;Gate because of how it manages to handle the time-traveling aspect well? Or is it because of the mystery, thriller, and drama present in the story? Then let me present to you a movie that also handles these types of themes/concepts remarkably. "The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya" manages to achieve the same level of emotional rollercoaster Steins;Gate was able to attain in only 2 hours and 45 minutes. Both shows exhibit the main character forced to struggle in alternate timelines to get everything back to normal. Both are a must-watch and one of the best things this medium has ever produced.

Tokyo Revengers
add

The similarities between Erased and Tokyo Revengers are uncanny. Both stories start with a main character filled with regrets in life and was suddenly given an ability to go back in time. The plot of both shows also revolve around saving a certain female individual. Even though their narrative may have distinct resemblances, there are also numerous differences between the two titles. The most striking one is the fact that Tokyo Revengers is a gang/delinquent anime compared to the standard elementary school setting present in Erased. Nonetheless if you enjoyed the mystery and time-traveling aspects of Erased, then you'll definitely like Tokyo Revengers.

Re:Creators
add

If you ultimately became a fan of Fate/Zero because of its battle royale premise, then I'm pretty sure you're going to love Re:Creators. Both shows can fall in the "reverse isekai" genre but the major difference is the fact that characters from F/Z are famous personas based on true world history, while in Re:Creators the summoned heroes are from modern games only present in the narrative. Both of these animes also boast fantastic OST's and musical pieces to accompany the already well-animated battles. Both shows also exhibit a dark atmosphere and heavy dialogues, if that's also right up your alley.

The central plot of both shows focuses on the problems dealt with by middle school girls. They also share the same dark themes masked by the innocence the girls have at the start of the story. Both are psychological dramas that delve deeply as the show progresses. They also both exhibit a magical girl-like power-up used to defeat the "villains" they have to face in order to make their wishes a reality. Both have fantastic visuals on display and unique art styles for the supernatural elements present in the show.

If you are a fan of slow-paced slice-of-life shows that offer a relaxing feel as you watch them like Yuru Camp△, then Super Cub is a must-watch for you! Both shows exhibit cute teenage girls doing their hobbies as leisure activities. They are also both set in the Yamanashi Prefecture. The only difference is the mood of the shows since Super Cub leans to a slightly more gloomy atmosphere compared to the joyful/bright tone present in Yuru Camp△.
