ya i liked that quite a bit. And was my first gundam series that got me into the franchise :) . Cant wait till they make something as good as iron-blooded.

Thank you for such a comprehensive response. I sort of got the basic idea of what i should watch next. But i want to know two more things before starting the series. First thing is this part, "Make sure to watch Chars counter attack once you're very familiar with the Char and Amuro story". But is the story of Char and Amuro's not been explained already in the original Gundam Movies? Also, i watched the original gundam movies at the start of this year but i only remember fragments of their story. I remember Red Comet's Story more because i adored his character so much. For amuro i only remember him fighting from earth federation and having countless encounters with Char.

As for the part two,i wanted to know whether i can watch the Mobile Suit Gundam Unicorn RE:0096 without watching any of the Gundam series after the year UC:083

PS: I also loved the Mobile suit gundam UC:080 War in the pocket. Honestly i was not expecting it to be this good. If i had to say , it is one of the most underrated anime i have seen so far. I m so ecstatic i got into Gundam series. Because i m in the middle of Job Hunt and other activities, that keep me busy, I m hoping of watching the whole Gundam Franchise by the end of next year. Can I bother you XD if i run into any problem in future with Gundam series?

Hi mate , Nice to meet you. I have watched the original gundam , Star Dust memory and war in the pocket. You can say that i have seen upto the events of UC 083 . Now i want to watch the 7 OVAS of gundam Unicorn and gundam unicorn RE because of the amazing soundtracks. I will be highly grateful if you could guide me on gundam series and also can i watch the two mentioned series directly or do i have to watch something else before i can view them? Thanks.

If only I could stop time I'd watch more anime and then I'd comeback with a longer list! I'm trying my best here to make that possible :b But honestly, a few months ago I had almost 200 anime listed and deleted half of them because I didn't remember anything (also, some were awful and I regretted watching them lol)

Are you into Gundam model kits?

Oh mama... the Eclipse is gonna fuck you up dude. I would go on, but you really need to experience it firsthand. Also, have fun reading the manga all the way from the beginning because the adaptations are nothing more than glorified trailers for the manga. Also, thanks for the kind words although I'm of the firm belief that all internet communities are fucking garbage and that it's the people that you're associating with that make your experience slightly less shit.

As for my top 10, well it's not really a finite top 10 for any of the categories. I've watched and read so many things that I enjoyed to the point where I honestly cannot create a definite top 10 list. The mosaic on my profile is pretty much the closest you'll ever get to a finite favourites list out of me, and even then, that's just a mosaic of programmes I've watched more than 3 times start to finish (and there are WAY more than 9 programmes on that list). I cycle through the entries on my favourites listings just to give other shit I enjoyed time in the limelight. Also, just remember that it's a crime against humanity to skip over the OP of Yu Yu Hakusho.

Thing is though that Griffith was and always will be an enigma until Kentaro Miura finally gets him to spit out how he actually feels. This is especially evident in end of the Tower of Conviction arc and the Falcon of the Millennium Empire arc in the manga: both times where Griffith was in the limelight, he didn't express much in the way of emotion other than general disinterest or if he was putting on airs to achieve his goal. The third movie definitely gets Griffith's emotion right in that scene where Guts snaps Griffith's sword after they get knighted, but that's really the only time Griffith ever expresses himself (verbally, anyway) across all mediums.

Also be warned: the Berserk manga is gonna be nothing but endless disappointment since Miura has been going on hiatuses WAY before Togashi ever turned it into a meme. On top of that, post-GAA is a series of peaks and valleys in terms of overall quality. Don't be surprised if you're on the edge of your seat in one arc and then groaning at all the unnecessary bullshit in the next.

I'd disagree with you in regards to Griffith on that one. Griffith in the Golden Age Arc was never supposed to be malicious until the Eclipse happens, rather he was supposed to be an intimidating man whose cool exterior gets broken by his meeting with Guts. Also, let's not forget that he was pretty naive in regards to the ramifications of his actions until the Eclipse went down and then Griffith was made aware of how many lives he sacrificed in the pursuit of his own kingdom.

Thanks bud <3 So what did you make of the Berserk movies?

Unluckily i didn't finish ghost in the shell as i only watched half of the movie and i forgot to finish it when i was on vocation it's on my priority list, Jin-roh and patlabor are definitely on my to watch list as so many people recommended it (and for what i saw from the trailers they are gorgeous) but i see some people saying they are slow movies and require time. Zeta is awesome, i begin watching gundam with unicorn (i even had a fight with a friend because he said i should begin with 0079) and unicorn convinced-me that mecha is more than just giant robots fighting in space, after that i begin watching 0079 (recently completed) and 8th ms team, then there is zeta everyone said zeta was kind of a masterpiece and i thought the bar was already high but man zeta is the type of anime you don't find often it takes itself seriously from the beginning and i hope it continuous that way until the end oh and war in the pocket i recently (3 days ago) completed it and is one of my all time favorite, it's short and it does it's with perfection, in 6 episodes they manage to tell a coherent story about the grey morality in war with intriguing characters in both side.
I need to admit that i'm watching the series all over the place, i'm trying to stick with zeta then i will attempt to watch zz (a pity there is no dub) and char counter attack.
