にゃんぱす~! I guess I'm a total stranger now, huh? Life lessons: never get greedy with overtime ._.)

Have you keen able to go watch Your Name yet? You promised you would! 約束は約束だよね? (#・∀・) And you wanted Colorful! I recall that making my eyes squint a bit, adjusting to the average movie anime art feels weird after weeks of the TV style. A very Japanese way of looking at death if I remember correctly too, the old reincarnation idea setting it all up. Could've had more feels, but it was a nice watch. And who on earth is your new profile picture of? Looks pretty old school! Hmm...I could keep going, but I'll be short for once! Was it dub or sub? Was the cinema packed? Did you cry? e_e

r゚・:*:・。♪☆明けましておめでとうございます☆゜・*:.。.☆ヽ@(*^ェ^)@ノ

It was, right? The BBC even filmed it in 360 ultraHD or something...total madness! But if it makes your family want to come over, it was defiantly worth it! Give us your monies!

But damn, the show in Sydney was amazing...and Singapore; then the Dubai spectacular which was later trumped by our own extravaganza? I notice some serious rivalry going on between cities! I bet America will want in on this competition; they've just got to be 1st at everything....we'll see in a few hours (when I'm fast asleep, ha).

I got myself a new monitor just in-time to enjoy it all; been toying around with dual-monitors and getting used to 1440p (I got an AOC AG241QX, feels like I'm the only person with it...must be new or something but I got it 25% off so, yey!). I'm struggling to be honest, it feels rather overwhelming compared to what I've been using for the past 3 years. The 120Hz (GTX760 can't do 144Hz, gah - reasons to spend on GPUs now) sure is nice and everything feels too refined. I don't dare spin it 360 though...and you're GPU has too many fans xD Your room must sound like being in a helicopter or something..!

Welp, byebye 2016...you've broken my heart. What a bumpy and inconsistent year it's been. But a great year for anime I might add. Hit a new record of 38 shows that aired this year watched; many thanks to BokuDake that started the year, Flying Witch that set Spring in motion, Love Live Sunshine! for them summer vibes and KyoAni's finest spoiling us with more Hibike! during the darkest and coldest time of year. I was really pleased they delivered exactly what I wanted in episode 13; Natsuki & Yuuko being selected to lead the club!

So we've got more Ayaneru, more KonoSuba and a Shirobako reboot in the tourism industry to kick off 2017? Not bad, not bad...let's make 2017 another great year, right? よろしくお願いします~!(^O^;)

Seems you've already started off with a new profile picture...of best-ribbon-girl! いいね、それある!

メリークリスマス~(´;ω;`) Did you get anything cool of Santa-san? Wait, Santa-san doesn't exisit?! そんな。。

I'm quite pleased today, went to work today for that double Christmas pay - got to fund all these new "anime art" steam games I've been getting somehow, damn the steam sales. I've yet to buy that new screen too...and damn, most of these games would be better with them console game joystick-ish controllers too. ;-; Your impatience will cost you, one day! Though seriously, that LG looks like it might never be back in stock. I'll hold off for few weeks till prices start dropping and rush at either the BenQ (good to hear it's "fine", sounds better than the Asus) or something else then...you're making me impatient! I can't wait to enjoy a bigger more satisfying screen, I'd love to dual-screen as well, but I can only see it working if I turn my old monitor to weird angles...even then they both probably wont fit (stupid 1366x768...fat and short >_>). Exciting stuff though, zura! Have you spun the screen 360 yet?

The latest Girlish Number episode is a good watch, albeit not particularly memorable or conclusive. Let's just say it's in the bag. and that could well in the checkout... GAHAHAHA~

Right, that Hibike! episode was a bit of gutter - I paused and checked times when they cut from the pre-preformance to the "lets get some ice cream" thinking my player had jumped or it hadn't correctly downloaded or something...I had to check with a friend to be sure. I really really really was expecting 1/2 and episode worth of preforming...and then miserable faces?! bronze?! ええええええ?!? Let's face it, this anime - we are trained to expect that the underdog wins, giving our miserable wretched lives some hope...they should've got gold and then we get all smiles and glee some fancy BGM and a swimsuit ero scene, mmhmm. Then again, I think we had it coming. This season has been feeling increasing more realistic which now feels like the buildup to their disappointing bronze, but at least they got something for all that hard work, right? Life isn't over either, which is a feeling they've portrayed well with the grade 3's cheering on the 2's and 1's for next year. I'm hoping that our next episode will be a bit of a "next year" type thing - I'm also thinking the ending is hinting toward a little focus on Asuka-senpai. Who knows? What I do know is it's time to play 100% Orange Juice. How's Haikyuu? I need to watch one of these masculine shows one day...

Tinz Dec 20, 2016 3:30 PM
A matured Kanata...that must be why I like them both; that one-side hair bias? I dunno. I probably won't watch the second season (looking forward to KonoSuba 2 tho...Non Non 3 when? Shirobako Specials why not PA?) but I can understand why you'd want to watch it after 50 episodes of baseball though xD Though being anime,I'm surprised it wasn't 50 episodes of baseball with action and explosions? What is anime coming too? Hm, Sakura Quest huh....trying to use the Shirobako template again PA Works?

"Finally something moved in Girlish Number!" ← I know right! It wasn't a slideshow and we saw some Momoka & Shibasaki too! I'm pleased to see how Kansai girl's age brings her closer to Gojou-kun, I had the tinkling feeling she might've known something about his past given her age. Gojou-kun's complimenting was great xD and pretty realistic too, that "be more specific" catches every average member of the male race I'm sure. Chitose too seems to be quite a human character as a whole; creating her own demise, depression and having the rare and useful trait of bullshitting your way out of own shortcomings (which I reckon is what the final ep will be about). Gosh, she really is kind-of dumb..we've seen the rise and fall of Chitose, here is to hoping we'll see her rise once more! それある! I was referring to this song, forgot it? Also, ED single out, its got one of the event songs too! <3

Yes, shiny instruments and ribbons next episode! Going to finish work at 4pm tomorrow, get some snacks and enjoy two days off...hopefully Hibike! will land a great finale to kick-start my days off. I'm so glad they've brushed the Reina drama aside...though I'll never forget our young Reina with her cute straw hat and red ribbon, hnng. Was great to see the blond-ribbon girl offer to support Reina too, such a tsuntsun though. And Taki-sensei....he never changes appearance through time?!?

Aww, being cricket fans together! That's awesome...random games in the park sounds so fun, I'd join for the giggles xD - I hope you get your promised cash for Christmas! )See what I did there? Christmas...Noel? Noel...no? C'mon, I can do stuff too!) Thanks for the monitor roundup. I've been hesitating over that Asus because of all the negative colour talk; I looked at the XL2411 but I can only find similar negative talk. Though I'm not fussy about looks (that Asus stand is acceptable), the more serious AOC stuff looks pretty ugly (why can't they do something plain black like the AOC I have now?!). I do like the ViewSonic you've suggested, but of the two the LG seems like the most attractive choice...however it seems to be out of production and therefor hard to buy! I'm willing to hit about/over €300 - so if there is something nicer with better colours than that Asus, then I'd love to know! I honestly can't choose anymore...and screw Christmas price increases.
Tinz Dec 15, 2016 2:57 PM
Nice-joke-tennis-otaku-whatever-kun is a real pain, though perhaps it's good for Chitose not be stuck to her nii-sama all the time...it could be making her more lazy! That said, Gojou-kun is way better and yes - he needs to hand her that present. I wonder what it is, if he is holding back...maybe something to do with his seiyuu attempts? Who knows...God that slideshow though, that was the icing on the cake after the annoying Nice-joke-kun and Nanami (though I let her off for pulling off a good rap-and-pop song we get to see for like 10 seconds, it seems pretty catchy...please be on the OST! ;_;). But yes, that slideshow. I seriously wanted to see them dance ;( and that Koto reindeer outfit ;( Koto looked so qt, but no animation wai pls dnt do dis omg this anime lost a point in my ratings ;______; However I don't exactly disagree with Chitose slipping here, you can't put a little into something and expect to get lots back I guess...that's the harsh world we live in. And as the boss said, there are plenty more replacements lined up for such a job. It's business! Did you notice this? I'm pretty sure that's a slowed down "funky" version of on and on...

You've finished Koutetsujou no Kabaneri at a good time, they've just announced a second season! Good memories watching it, my half-Japanese friend back when I was in school came up to me sometime after ep1 aired and went "YOU LIKE TRAINS, YOU LIKE ANIME...GO WATCH KABANERI!" and I was all like "NANI SORE?", after I got him to chill he basically explained the Attack on Titan people decided to make Attack on Titan but with trains and zombies. I got so excited I went round his place to watch. To be honest, I wasn't convinced till about episode 4...with the train steaming off into the distance to the epic ending theme (seriously, that ED is amazing). From there I thoroughly enjoyed it, till it all went to shit in the final episodes. If anything the points I've given it are for art, sound and the ep4-ep10(11?) enjoyment factor/action, maybe I've been too harsh. Kajika~❤

Hmph, Hibike! didn't have enough stuff this time for me to use the spoiler tag. (or I've just forget it from Flip Flappers overload, again)

It would defiantly be pretty uncomfortable if you were speaking keigo as well as the person serving you. Equally though I'd say that casual is a little too far; more like everyday polite? These levels of politeness really do make you head spin. But yes, just don't be really polite. They are there to serve you, you're the king.

Aww, that old prebuilt sounds awful - but the memories! It's all thanks to my dad ordering custom builds all the time that I've been careful to never get a prebuilt computer like that. His main reason for having a beefy computer being to play various Train Simulators (our shared farther and son passion) as well as do 3D modelling of steam trains and buildings (really cool stuff, he can texture and work in loads of 3D editors - all self taught too, a level of dedication I wish I had) which is pretty cool. His Athlon 64 X2 is pretty old now though!

I got my current computer in 2011 as a "custom prebuilt" kind-of thing from an amazon kind-of place, the i5 2400 has stayed along with the motherboard since then and I saved enough for a horrible cheap ATI Radeon HD6450 a few months later on - though many games were limited to medium graphics (decided to never buy ATI/AMD again at this point). Two years ago the HDD failed and I got a VISA card with some cash which I quickly spent on getting a new HDD, bigger case, a GTX 760Ti, modular power supply and 8GB of RAM. That took a good day of surgery to transfer the motherboard and hook up all the new parts...! Got to love the feeling of doing surgery though, laying the box flat on the kitchen table and getting out the knives...

I'm planning on keeping the GTX 760Ti, HDDs, the CX600 PSU and buying lots of stuff. That leaves my dad with the i5 2400, 8GB ram and I'll give him the spare 400w PSU it originally had - he said he'll sort out what else he wants and hand it to me to put in. I'm still on edge about what I'll be buying (COSTS, GAH T__T)...but here is the parts list. Ah yes, I was thinking of getting a proper monitor too! What were you thinking of getting, might I ask? I literally have no clue; but I went with what seemed best with plenty of uh...speed. Ah yes - my current monitor (1366x768, god forbid) cost like £69 and belongs in a scrap heap; it's a miracle I'm not blind yet. I probably ought to get a not-£10 keyboard and mouse sometime, but that's extras!
Tinz Dec 9, 2016 10:04 AM
Mixing everything and just eating it? That sounds really messy. I'm pleased to hear the overdose on pasta is true, can never have enough carbohydrates...pff! People who worry about getting fat deserve to get fat (Everyone should become a pasta eating Yui like you too!). Much like people who are ignorant to politics deserve to be repressed...*coughs* I could probably get you informed, I am too into politics and was on the debating club in high school - though I never did the arguing, I got famous for demolishing opening/closing speeches and got showered in praise and awards...yea, I'd make a great politics sensei. Forget about politics for now though, it's all about Christmas this month!

Damn, I didn't notice Chitose was replaced in the OP title! She is totally done now, one-hit seiyuu Karasuma family curse. Well, she kind-of deserves it for not really trying. Gosh, I am mean. The new girl is so enthusiastic to the point it is mildly annoying though. I'm hoping the episode just out in Japan gets subbed pretty quick - series finales are so hard to wait for...like what happens to Chitose? Does my Kansai waifu get married? Oh - I recognized Ayaneru straight away too! She is the only Seiyuu I can recognize actually, but at least it's with a 100%+ success rate - as you said, it really is unmistakable.

It really is the season of face pulling, I was expecting some from Hibike! again, but instead we got lots of pulling faces...in our faces? Either way, seems the dual Asuka-Neesan issue is solved, I guess? Asuka is back, Neesama is off doing her own thing or something...is it finally time to go to the Nationals? Somehow I think not, I reckon we'll spend next episode discovering Reina is in serious depression having seen the photo of Taki-sensei and his family - there quite a bit of focus on the absent-from-classes-not-coming-home-together Reina and that glance at the end was pretty teasing toward some Reina-focus episode. Maybe I'm just getting my hopes up too high over that, but seriously - how many more episodes does this have left and how will they even ever fit Nationals in? Dx Anyhow, I really liked this scene - and I reckon it's the turn-your-back and glance attitude from the adults and the slightly more curious stare from middle/lower school sisters, nicely done realistic human contrast in age-attitudes (with no stupid ARE-U-OF-A-DAIJOUBOUU-DESUUU-KA from some random lolicon or something). It felt dangerously real.

Hifumi ❤ Wait, a Hifumi character song?! ❤❤❤ That song is simply beautiful. The Ko/Rin duet is quite rock-y but nice too - and is it me or is Aoba's song very K-On? ...Ah yes, Princess! Why wasn't it a special song in the anime?! Dx It'd make a great song for some AMV instead I suppose. I really do like it, probably Miwa's voice more than anything. It certainly is country-ish..not quite country but not quite anything else either. Acoustic? Wikipedia says pop rock...I dunno. A bunch of her other songs are pretty nice too but they depart from that "feeling". To be honest, I don't know anything more that hits that "feeling" either, if you find any - throw them my way! It might help me get away from Sōtaisei Riron and the very own weird "feeling" their songs give off. I do see the Love Live! in the Girlish Number OP, I reckon it could pass for a Love Live! series song...fufufu~

Zura shut down my computer?! I guess it can't be helped...she sure is cute with technology. My computer is probably going funny as it's the last full month I think I'll be using it - before everything but the HDDs, PSU and GPU (none of which are original anymore) become my dads and I build up a new box from scratch keeping the best bits. Somehow tweaking about with desktops reminds me of this old saying; "If you buy a broom, later on replace the brush and later on replace the stick - is it still the same broom?".

Now if you excuse me, I've got some serious Flip Flapping to do. 4th ep10 rewatch cause ep11 not out for a week, airing anime FFS why dont do this too me pls
Tinz Dec 5, 2016 12:49 AM
Ah yes, rice three times a day. I miss those days, but on the flip side I do like the abundance of bread and cheese in Europe. Korean chicken? So good. Takoyaki? Even better. Katsu curry? Mmmm. There really isn't a "best" you know - everything is a "best"! I need to get myself to Italy sometime too and just eat my life away, I keep hearing about 5-course meals and pasta overdose being a thing over there. Interesting to hear you think Japanese pronunciation is easier from Italian; would need to find some other Italians to cross-check it. Though it sounds like they are all busy fighting over some referendum to bother...

You were expecting Chitose to come out? Remind me, who is Chitose again? The MC? That cat moment really did melt my heart; Shibasaki is so cool and cute (if you are a cat though, I'm jealous I'm not that cat) - I've re-watched it a few times already. It'd be so cool if WW did keep to his naming things in Oregairu, he could make it his own trademark thing. I bet Wataru Watari names characters like that as some grudge over how his own parents named him or something, Wataru Watari is just an amusing name; though "WW" makes a neat pen name I think. Momtami, Momoka is by the far cutest! I was thinking up some really rude ones for Kuzu...meaning stuff like "Peice of Shit, Motherf!@cker" or something. Though having watched the latest episode I feel a little guilty over it....(yes, it's out! and so is the OP single...why am I now into these things? I so very otaku nawo, help pls)...and this.

Hibike! was great fun, was great to get a less-than-superhuman Asuka for once. I really loved the Reina and Taki-sensei key-giving scene, particularly the detail put into her reactions; standing on just her heels with her feet fidgeting was so cute and well animated, sasuga KyoAni! You're clearly linked to Kaori, perhaps you should go on a date? I'm so jealous...Koari is a stunning woman, after all. It feels like a lot happened and really, lots more is going to need to happen. Neesama needs sorting out and Asuka - the two hardest to understand people at once having problems? Yea, we're not making nationals this seasons now...T_T All them legs tho...haven't have this much leg since I watched Aiura...(or had a whole goose for dinner)!

Waiting till the 11th episode? I'm dreading the 11th episode here! I don't want the season to end, I'll miss my weekly Flip Flap, Gaogao-chan Exercises, dictionary making, music-drama-music-drama-drama-drama club and the good old GAHAHAHA -- o(ㄒoㄒ)

So few things to click, heh? I wrote this yesterday and lost everything, got work early....so I couldn't be arsed to re-do everything @_@ - I hate loosing stuff to random overnight computer restarts....
Tinz Nov 29, 2016 4:04 PM
Bringing a chibi-figure for me? You're quite a kind person, aren't you! How'd I equal that, huh...Fancy an old K-On! Figma? Your case is certainly quite curious, I can relate! Though my case is less "quite curious" and more "quite extreme"; my dad is British, mother is Tanzanian and I was born in some other African country that is hardly on any world map at all (they both were working there). From there we almost immediately moved to Asia (and kept moving around countries in Asia); where I grew up...and just recently we all came back to the UK. So whenever people ask me "Where are you from?"....I just sigh; because I am a giant mixing pot for a bunch of countries. I have a perfect "Queen's English" accent, I look like a mixed Euro-African, eat Asian (and I can tell you all the hot K-Drama of the year, but I've got no idea what is on Netflix)....I'm from nowhere in-particular with the convenience of a British passport! Also; finance and marketing sucks! xP

I'm not half surprised you get called Nii-s4n and the like -- but I never knew the whole Nissan "23" thing! Now I see Nissan in a whole new positive light...good ol' Nissan. ni & san! Hnngg~ Also, yes puns. By sheer coincidence I pun way too much with my German friend, which usually turns into puns at the German if I add some other Brit to our occasional banterous Skype-and-game calls. That comedy from 1975 really kick-started the world of bad British jokes on Germany, teeheehee~

Yeeeess, I was so relieved there were some other families and adults at the cinema, I was sweating beforehand as we went in as I couldn't see any (but we just were too early - 30 minutes of adverts @_@). Sadly there was no merchandise whatsoever, it disappointing - but on the flip-side it's hard enough to get one nationwide showing of an anime film by two cinema chains...nevermind getting them to ship over merchandise and stuff.

Oh! Yamagata was so cool! Wish we have more Yukata time (it wasn't quite one, heh) though...and no Chitose?! That's why this episode was so much better, right...? Shibasaki is just so cool, also did you notice the OreGairu writer dropping a Shibasaki/Yukinon cold-but-cat-loving moment? I reckon they'd get along well...in a room full of cats and catfish. Shibasaki's parents were pretty neat too; tsundad and mumdere. This scene was a highlight, I love how the Kuzu-P music starts, we get a slap and he's out...topped with Momoka looking at him as though she'd seen a ghost! I was laughing whistling melting from the cuteness!

Fune wo Amu is nice, it's rather relaxing and you might actually start to find the main guy 'cute'. Nothing NSFW at all, it's probably got some good points on the Iyashikei scale and it's all worth it for a certain episode. You mother might enjoy it too, actually. I don't want to spoil anything more! And if this piano arrangement of the ED doesn't make you want to see it more, I don't know what will!
Tinz Nov 25, 2016 2:21 PM
It kind of sounds like you made the right decision to cancel, though I look forward to welcoming you to UK some other time! Only after you visit Japan though, right? Gosh, I need to go again... Wait, you've got relatives in Nagoya?! もしかして。。ニイさんは日本人のハーフがある?Also, ニイさん...get it? Niss4n → ニイさん =兄さん...¯\_( ´・ω・)_/¯

Chitose hiding in the onsen? Kuzu-P filming it all? Sounds like they'd both be in on it together; Kuzu-P for the AV film and Chitose for the....uh....popularity gained through having an AV disk? It's all for money and popularity! Money and popularity...let's making more money and popularity! 金持ちになる! 有名になる!ガハハハハハハ_(:3」∠)_ 楽しみな!

More new drama indeed - and at episode 8?! If this is 12 episode we'll never get to finals in Nagoya at this rate. With Kuzu-P still in my head, I've got plenty of thoughts as to how Kumiko going over to Asuka's house will be....(●`ε´●) Seriously though, it's quite nerve-wrecking, Asuka is so unpredictable. Mamiko seems pretty cool, just totally lost right now - and part of the issues like the work/college over band/hobbies responsibility is something believable/relatable too. That old-fashioned American hair so fits her choice of brass instrument; could totally see her swinging with the jazz-blues on her trombone down at a Chicago bar with an air thick of cigar smoke. Aaand yess, that smile...must protect ._.

One piece movie? Who needs that...pff! There must be some Japan shops in Rome/Milan come to think of it, I was planning to buy a kancolle chibi-like figure from a shop there.

Anyway, I took a gamble in the run-up to the show and bought tickets for my family as well - since Kimi no Nawa was on the news and stuff I figured they might take some interest and I didn't want to die without at least trying to get my parents to see an anime positively. Oddly my dad got very excited, as he'd read about it in his newspaper and my mum loved the idea of gender switching...so getting them to come was easy too! Got to the cinema in no time as it was just in the city centre; and the atmosphere before the show was great! I was so happy to see there were families, old and young people, couples, people alone, the local university anime society - it was a great gathering and it's a shame it was the only one showing because all the tickets had all sold out and it'd be great to share this wonderful anime film with more people, but in the very least it's been given the chance to shine in UK cinemas. It was so nice to laugh at the same moment with 180 other people - my parents both really enjoyed it too. I had a good conversation with my dad over it just now, as though it were any other film; he apparently was amazed at how realistic the art was more like a photo than a drawing and how well "how we perceive our human expressions" were captured through anime.

All in all, it's a great film, superb art and landscapes as you'd expect from Shinkai. I won't spoil anything though; plus I'm going too have too re-watch it when the BD comes out...for the artwork mainly, teeheehe. Also, I see you added Fune wo Amu to your plan-to-watch list?
Tinz Nov 23, 2016 3:04 AM
Well, maybe not double the price...but it's costly. Not only are they covering costs of imports, but the cost of keeping a shop open for niche goods that only 1% of the worlds population outside Japan are interested in; so do some economics demand/supply stuff and it's only obvious that the price needs to go up-up-up! Well, 400€ isn't too bad for a trip to UK; but I bet you could do it for a bit less/more at your own leisure if you don't really like that class - I mean the UK isn't going anywhere! (though I can't guarantee that with Brexit going on, at the present rate we'll leave the EU and fly off into outer-space or something)

Glad I'm not alone in starting with ecchi...damn though, Yoko seems to have been in at least 3 anime every year as an MC or something! What an amazing portfolio for a seiyuu...

Hmhm~ Yamagata is the best! I'm so excited...Shibasaki is so cool too! Somehow I think the colourful relaxation time will end pretty quickly though, GAHAHAHAHAHA--! I hope that phone call was not inviting Chitose to come at all as I'll be happy with a Momoka and Shibasaki half-episode in Yamagata - ah crap, Kuzu-P is going too. Just Kuzu-P. Bloody Kuzu-P. KUZU-P. KUZU-F'ING-PEE. GAAAH KUUZUU-PEEE. Well, his name is also slang for piece of shit/scumbag...but he is even lower than that ;_; I'm so looking forward to the Yukatas - and I somehow suspect Kuzu-P is going to bring a filmcrew to the onsen and try to film some nudity for a "super-special limited edition adult video" or something.

So glad I get two days off work Thurs/Friday when all this great anime comes out...been working 2PM to 11PM and getting home at like 1AM, I feel so done with life @_@ -- TOMORROW IM GOING TO WATCH KIMI NO NA WA THOUGH OMGOMGOMGOMG ITS FINALLY TIME
Tinz Nov 21, 2016 3:21 AM
Pubs and discos? How barbaric. Least you've got quite a bit of free time - though given how slow it is to get around London you'd better be careful about getting back for that curfew, you'll soon find for everyone kilometer you travel you waste like 30 minutes...Dx Also, if you're ever stuck with a shopping group round Piccadilly Circus area and feel shameless, there are a dozen or so Japan-stuff shops! I need to check them out myself sometime, but being London I know everything will be double the price, LONDON IS SO EXPENSIVE ;-; and the UK is so bias too it, from where I live I can get to London (320km away) in less than 2 hours, but it takes the same time to get the 3rd biggest city in UK (100km away) and double that to get to the 2nd biggest city (200km away).

"交響曲第9番 ホ短調 作品95「新世界より」第2楽章"...that dedication in translating when they could've just left it in English. W-wait, your first anime was High School DxD? I can't judge though, if you dig through my list you'll find a ton of ecchi shows (samurai girls was neat tho) that I started watching (and I thought all anime was ecchi cause the website I was looking for anime on was like "ecchitube.tv" or something, I only realized this was a genre when I searched for Angel Beats! on it and couldn't find it). Then one dark day in November I discovered MAL, Haruhi and things just got better from there (or worse, perhaps...)

The last episodes? I was shocked to say the least. I figured that her illness would get better thanks to his awesome piano playing and we'd get an awesome duo violin-piano encore in the final episode. Instead, she dies?! To be honest, I was happy (not in an evil way) that they followed through with the "moving on, bad stuff happens" theme though. I nearly did cry; just eye-watering level - there was just so much going on towards the end that it was hard to stop and find time to cry and atop that I just couldn't find a deep enough connection to the characters, they felt a bit inconsistent and apart from Arima I really didn't feel I knew them well enough. If anything I was most saddened by the younger Arima being abused, not being able to go out to play and the like as well as his PTSD or whatever than Kaori's passing.

Ack - at a Comic Con? Who knows what subs it'll have then, at least it'd probably be in Japanese. Though you might have to sit among awkward cosplayers and all...might be a weird experience. Just fly over to the UK next week, I'll book you a ticket at the cinema...一緒に行こう!

Hnnng, a longer Masako gif! ;3 Let's hope we get more! Wait -- that was the same Azusa?! She's totally a woman now... Haruka with her hair down would be nice to catch, surely she must untie her hair once in a blue moon - even if just to wash it. But I want more sexyphone action first pls KyoAni I'd be worried if the OSTs from music anime were not really something, cause then they'd have failed right at their core! Track 26 is quite magical! I need to get the full OST sometime, I've only heard bits. It's scary how much quality there is to OSTs for anime really - most of these western TV shows would just buy licenses for every other pop song and never go to the effort of composition and stuff for some loss-making show for a very niche audience.

Thinking back on Hibike! music, though it's probably not in the OST as it is not an original song - that time Reina played from The New World Symphony was quite a shivery musical impact for me. I wish they'd never done it, cause I'm forever scared by "Going Home" from Shinsekai Yori (From the New World) which was the first few minutes dystonia-setting-the-utopia opening in the first episode. Bringing up Shinsekai Yori follows nicely on to bringing up Risa Taneda who voiced the MC; Saki (her first MC role too) - I was shocked to discover that she's voiced Kaori in Your Lie in April too, both two great A-1 shows (I finished YLiA btw!)...then to top it all off I found this, which is so hard to believe given Kori's ending in YLiA. Even worse for me knowing that the first and maybe the last MC roles she'll have are in two of my top A-1 Pictures shows. I'm kinda gutted. I'll save YLiA talk for when I get over this ._.

That gif is from the works of Makoto Shinkai! You'll find it around the 10-20 minutes mark in 5cm per Second iirc...in my favorite section of it with loads of snow and trains and stuff. Oddly that gif also reminds me of some of the scenes in Boku Dake ga Inai Machi too.

More Ayaneru?! She is doing really well for herself now! I'm glad Juri got a new role too, Shirobako was like her first major main cast for a good show - I hope her career just keeps growing too, it's so nice to have new and different voices. The show though...not so sure about it yet. Seems more is getting reveled each day though...Makoto kawaii! Also, I need to keep up with 'the news' better @_@

I just paid for my cinema tickets, apparently it's being shown once next Thursday at 7 or 9pm across the UK in two cinema companies - so I managed to get one of the last seats in a cinema just 20 minutes away! I phoned up before I booked to check it was subbed and not dubbed too, cause...well I'm just that otaku freak that hates dubs to them, I guess? ...Also, I reckon the showing in Italy would just be Japanese with Italian subs...? That's what is sensible, but nothing ever follows sense in this world usually.

This week feels so dull. Starting work on the dark, finishing work in the dark...the cold weather. Though this weeks Hibike! episode defiantly delivered on the drama; RIP Asuka ._. That song at the end was really funky, I look forward too it being in the OST...everyone looked so so so happy playing it - and the song along with their expressions of glee were really relaxing. I'm glad they're following through with just giving us music and well animated playing shots. Had they worn the super-bright-blue t-shirts before? They were really nice this episode. The MVP award for this episode from me goes to Haruka, her speech wasn't much but it was something even if she can't motivate like Asuka can and her saxophone playing, mmm.....gosh, that saxophone playing.... Is it me or is saxophone playing just really sexy? I think need help...

Anyway, bring on Girlish Number! with more Momoka in her usual outfit...wait, what's that I hear? She gets a new outfit again in the next episode? I hope they do get some maid costume action too, or nekomimi @_@ but it's an LN source, not a shitty manga...

Didn't you notice how grown-up Yae-pyon is? I've noticed once or twice before, but usually her clothing seems to hide her...uh...charm. Talking about grown up; my favorite Kansai girl is nearly 30?! そんな。。。Got to love pillowfight action though (nice commentary!), wish there was more of that though. An episode which could've had more! I wonder if they'll make a swimsuit OVA...

I didn't notice that Nagi no Asukara style uniform, but damn - it's pretty similar colourscheme wise and sort-of design wise too, probably as a result of the colourscheme (heck, even their hairstyles). There are a good few differences though, spot the difference? Hwaa~ Miuna cuteee.Bow or tie, though? Hmm...Momoka's tie works well for Momoka - but...but...

Yeees, that part of the ED does remind me of Ema's one-two-three-four dance-exercise routine thing! But Ema's version is more cute (probably cause it's proper animation). The ED one is pretty amusing in it's own special way though, probably that character lineup. You should really not listen to Kimi no Na Wa OST songs, it'll ruin it for you ._. I've been blocking out everything and anything to do with it. Being a Shinkai fan, I refuse to watch it in anything but full HD - and I don't want spoilers in any form or else the experience will be hindered. AND THANK YOU FOR REMINDING ME ABOUT IT, I JUST PUT IT IN GOOGLE AND FOUND A CINEMA IN A CITY AN HOUR AWAY IS SHOWING KIMI NO NA WA AND OMGOMG I GOT A DAY OFF AND GOT MONEY LEFT AND ITS EASY TO GET TOO SHOULD I BOOK SOME TICKETS OMGOMGOMG ANIME MOVIE IN A CINEMA NOT DUBBED WITH SUBS IN THE UK OMGOMGOMG I SHOULD GO OMGOMGOMG EXCITEMENT BUT SHOULD I REALLY GO I DUNNO

These two. The latest episode I watched was the most calming "falling in love" moment under the stars across any medium of entertainment I've ever seen. No screaming, tears, crying - or even really saying "I love you" or anything, but you just know it...gosh, if romance/love was really that soft and calming, I'd be interested.

Long shifts at work for 2 weeks @_@ so little time for anime...Oh, I like how we've started two clubs already, though I think the expressionless face club is the only one we'd not be rejected from...-w-

Hmhm, Keigo isn't important at all - it's just extra! And it'll really confuse you, it changes whole words at stuff...ugh. I swear anime softens you up, I've always been quite emotional - but after 4ish-5 years of anime watching I've defiantly become a total crybaby.

So episode 6 is out, subbed! I don't like excessive fan-service, but I do like a bit of swimsuit action...( ͡°( ͡° ͜ʖ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)ʖ ͡°) ͡°) They didn't force Chie-sama into a one-piece swimsuit though, tsch..disappointing. Anyway, I'll let you watch it properly first! The actual outfits they wear are far cuter...GAHAHAHAHA~

Wow, somebody actually can make minute long videos every episode of Kumiko's reactions?! Great idea, person - just can't get over the fact you can make a minute out of 3-second sounds...k-k-kawaii! Renge & Oreki both do expressionless clapping...why do I get the feeling they'd probably get along ._.
