But the point of my comment was to talk about the alternative ending theories that would make AoT a much deeper work, since most of them were inspired by the author's own statements about Muv-Luv, a work you recommended in your review. You don't seem interested though so whatever. Thanks for the info.
No man, you don't need to feel bad while stating fact.
Incredibly overhyped by the brainless fans who never read a good book. All I see on the internet is "it's a masterpiece" and nothing strong to support this claim. xdd
At most 6-7/10, if you look objectively.
If anything, LoGH handle the topic way better than 86.
When you say about how little minority persecution there is on a world wide level I assume you mean how there was little persecution in our real life world of the French Revolution compared to 86, And so the 86 were the Colorata or anyone with their descent who had to fight it later became anyone who wasn't a Alba it was a scapegoat like how the monarchy was to the republic and they both were revolts against monarchy's to establish a republic, they both even after the revolution had succeeded at the beginning the royals and nobles still held on to power, albeit with less authority,
But yeah in S2 Shin was quite carless and almost didn't seem to care about his comrades, I'd like to think that he does but after killing a couple hundred of his comrades he became quite incentive about it.
But thanks for talking with me, it's been quite nice.
Also the attention to detail is insane, as in season 2 when Lena had a stripe of red on her hair it made it so she would now have all 5 colours of the republic, and when the colonel was last seen when he was talking to Lena his room was full of patriotic and Alba pride, however when we see him after the Federation entered the capital there was nothing to be seen except 2 pictures of him and 86s together. And in the first season we can see Shin reading a book "All quiet on the western front" "This notion of a gulf between those who declare war and those who fight it is present throughout All Quiet on the Western Front" and that's what happening in 86. Enough talking about the great attention of details in the show.
While the show is has a good amount of focus on Shin and Lena's relationship. In season 2 Lena was barley seen and barley even mentioned it mainly focused on the 5 86s and their life's and battles they fought in the Federation.
