Anime is a lifestyle for me XD. Nah it's not a hobby, because it's not completely casual for me. It's more like something that helps me keep my life in check. However, as I grow older, it is becoming more casual, which is saddening.

I just watched 7 episodes of an anime short and now I'm about to watch a drama so yep :) Seriously love my new TV.

Lol is Blackjack the one where you hit 21 or what is that. Cause I'm good at that one.

I try not to eat fast food as much but seeing what Wendy's looks like to someone who works that helps make that so much easier for me.. You don't even wanna see what their fry pans look like...

My grandma makes fun of it as well and says it's annoying but idc. I'm not ashamed of the life I've chosen lol
***Still haven't watched Tokyo Ghoul but I did hear about that scene

I had friends over. They actually showed. Literally that's what made me so happy. Like I could have cried but I waited till they left XD

lol that sums up literally everyone that gambles....ever.

That's interesting. I had pizza and chips and pop and talked all night with my friends. And my one friend got me Jack Skellington slippers, which I'm cherishing super hard.

It's okay :)
I had a very very very good 18th. I got a smart TV and so now I can watch a lot more anime in a faster, more accessible way, since I can watch it even if I'm laying down, which is great.

That's good. I'm looking forward to it :P

The series looks a lot more interesting. The main problem I had with the movies was that they didn't explain much and filled in all of the gaps with existential jargon, probably because of lack of time. I'm hoping that the series fleshes out the world more even if it's not the same universe as the movies.

Well my first recommendation would be Bakemonogatari (and the rest of Monogatari series) since you don't have it in your list. It is sort of a mystery. It might not be your thing though since it has some elements of harem and some fan-service (which I have to say is pretty smooth).

Mononoke Hime is not on your list as well. It is my favourite Miyazaki film.

From your "plan to watch" list I would recommend Planetes, Stranger: Mukou Hadan and Byousoku 5 Centimer. If you will like Byousoku 5 Centimer, you can also try Kotonoha no Niwa.

If you liked Samurai Champloo and Cowboy Bebop, you might try Space Dandy. It takes itself a bit more lightly though.
