I had a lot of hope for this series but was pretty disappointed. Overall I enjoyed the story but felt that it was hurt by the constant shifting, and pointless Mecha powers. Something insanely powerful could be overpowered the next episode. I can enjoy shifts in power and the constantly evolving powers of the machines but it felt very empty and pointless for me in 00. You have super soldiers that is never really shown to be more powerful, You have a new ability revealed and shown how monumental it is, only for it to be overpowered in the next episode.

However season 2 does start ... to balance the power levels more and introduce more of a power structure with upgrades and powerups usually lasting more then an episode and having more of an impact
