Trying out a slightly different approach for my reviews. I'm listing the scores for each section now :D I'm glad I stayed up late for this. This is a grotty treat with a flavor that will linger in the back of my mind forever.
Review:
Story/Plot - 1 "basically there's this high school girl except she's got huge boobs. i mean some serious honkers. a real set of badonkers. packin some dobonhonkeros. massive dohoonkabhankoloos. big ol' tonhongerekoogers. Huge bonkhonagahoogs. humongous hungolomghononoloughongous." Cliché's, cliché's, and more cliché's. Some nerdy loser kid with no qualities that make him stand out (even the anime itself points this out lol)
...
enrolls in a school and gets forced to join a club where he is surrounded by hot women and ecchi shenanigans ensue. Hmm where have I heard this type of story before? One cool thing to take note of is the school in this world; it's massive, and has over 50,000 students ranging from all age groups. The plot revolving around Mifune and Chiharu is uninteresting and cliché. The insane tournament is something I honestly wasn't expecting and was pleasantly surprised by it due to how ridiculous it was.
Characters - 1 Generic, run-of-the-mill characters that are as bland as a cheap plastic toy with a label saying "Made in China". I kid you not, every single character aside from the protagonist's purpose in this story is to produce fanservice for the audience.
Visuals - 6 This is one of the only areas I'll actually give credit for. While the art is your typical 2000's generic shlock anime art, the animation turned out to be fairly good. Since this is an OVA, expect higher production quality. Some scenes were pretty smooth and some fanservice scenes while I am ashamed to admit it, I thought were pretty good. However, this anime takes the fanservice way too far, I'm talking out of this Earth's atmosphere and geostationary orbit level far. The breast sizes on these characters ranges from huge, to absolutely jarringly massive! When the hell have you ever seen an 11 YEAR OLD with 111cm E-cup honkers!? I'm under the impression that this might have been satirical...
Audio - 4 Nothing really noteworthy. Voice acting was alright.
Overall: This anime is downright BLOATED with fanservice, and offers almost nothing of value. It is so in-your-face and repetitive it's exhausting. If you love bad anime and want to get a good laugh out of it like I did, go ahead. Otherwise, stay away from this crap.
"Objective" score: 2.5/10
Subjective score: 3.8/10
Overall score: 3.15/10 Rounded down to 3/10 for MAL score.

Review:
Story/Plot: Narrative-wise, this short film doesn't go anywhere, and the plot is very miniscule as well. Instead of finishing off with a proper conclusion, it dwindles down and comes to a complete stop. This left me very confused at the end. What was up with that twist at the end? It ends up feeling largely unfinished. Nothing is really explained, thus we don't know what drives the characters to do what they do, like Saya, who just seems to be killing demons just because she can. Rather weak in this department.
Characters: It suffers from the same thing the story does: The duration of the film.
...
We aren't given enough background information, or more information in general, about any of the characters. All of them are flat and one-dimensional, even Saya, who's the main character and the one we are given the most information about. This also means that there's no room for characters to develop or for the audience to care about the characters.
Visuals: Now we're getting into the real meat of this film! The art style is unique and stands out a lot amongst the average anime. It looks really damn nice! It utilizes rough lines as opposed to smooth ones, and combines them with other features, most notably the desaturated color palette and its low level of lighting. This creates some very pleasing shading, too. Not to mention the CGI in this film is mind-blowingly good. For something that came out in the 2000's, the CG holds up better than most anime today. The backgrounds and the movement of CG objects look fantastic! The animation, dear lord the animation! It's of exceptional quality, as expected from Production I.G! Tons of astonishing sakuga, very expressive character features, graciously smooth character movements and action sequences, and stupendous visual effects like the motion blur make this a true feast for the eyes! Definitely the highlight of this film!
Audio: The dubbing, to my surprise, was really damn good! English has never sounded this good in an anime's original audio! The sound effects, like the animation, are top-notch. The music is also a treat. Mmm, exquisite.
Overall: Blood: The Last Vampire is a film that although lacking in depth, is an anime that you definitely shouldn't miss out on. It along with other anime like FLCL, helped anime take a step forward in animation quality. Those looking for a short, action-packed, high production quality film that doesn't require deep thought will love this wonderful film; while those looking for something with more meat and less sweets probably won't enjoy it as much. 6.69/10, rounded to 7/10 for MAL score!

As I was going through my horrifically long Plan To Watch list, I stumbled upon this 13 minute OVA with a low MAL score. I figured, "Hey, it's 1:00 am, and I have school tomorrow and I can't stay up too late but I still want to watch something, this is perfect!" And perfect it indeed was, because I have unearthed this wonderful, shit-stained diamond!
Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: It doesn't even have a story, nor is there an overarching plot or end-goal, really. This feels like a pilot episode more than anything, since it just presents the viewers with a simple premise followed by next to no narrative
...
substance whatsoever. Apparently, these maids are androids from outer space or something, and they serve a random 12 year old girl who's in middle school and they protect the city from monsters, and that's all we know about them. I'll let the narrative part slide since this doesn't try to be a story and goes nowhere.
Characters: As shallow as the story, which just so happens to be as deep as a a hole in concrete made using a plastic spoon. You won't get anything from these characters or the story.
Art/Animation: The art looks very shitty, I bet I could make something better than this, and that's saying something! These look like an amateur's second attempt at drawing anime in their sketchbook with color. It's not anything horrible, but is still very bad. At least it can look cute at times! The backgrounds are also awful. The animation is actually surprisingly smooth at times, which is very nice.
Sound/Music: It may have been the video player I used, and I'll use this segment to mention that the video player was at 144p so it may have affected the visual quality as well, but it's a short anime that takes very little of your time so it doesn't matter anyway. The sound quality was awful. The voice acting is good, and the music is decent, but the video player, I'm assuming, made it sound like dogshit... unless I'm wrong and this is the true quality of the OVA, which I doubt it is.
Overall: This is one of those anime that's so bad, it's amazing. You won't find crap like this anywhere else and that's what makes these pieces of garbage so special. There is almost no substance, but it sure is entertaining (at least to me). I get the feeling that this was satirical, so it raises my score a bit, because when you look at it from that perspective, it's a whole lot better. I would give this a 2, but due to the lack of narrative and how much I enjoyed it, I'll let it slide. 5.2/10! Rounded to 5/10 for MAL score!

Well, that was surely an experience.
Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: It revolves around the protagonist trying to get back a sword from his great grandfather or something and later on he also has to save this one chick. For some reason this action film also has numerous sex scenes throughout it and in my opinion I think they were really pointless and contributed nothing of value to the narrative, they were just there. The dialogue is very boring as well.
Characters: Nothing notable about them. Their only purpose was to progress whatever story this film had forward. They aren't deep enough to get the viewer to root for them, or
...
care for them either.
Art/Animation: The art looks mediocre, and the animation is really lacking. Loops are often used in many scenes throughout the film and it can be a bit jarring at times. Another weird thing to take note of are the few moments where the people switch to a western cartoony art style, like the men in the stripper scene. It makes this film inconsistent and feels unnecessary, especially considering that this is supposed to be an action film, one with sex scenes at that! But do you want to know what's truly jarring? The CGI in this film! It looks terrible, and completely threw me off-guard and ruined my immersion! Combine this with the agitating, bizarre camera movements and you get CG scenes that are very disorienting. Why did they do this? The film could have worked well without it! What were they thinking?
Sound/Music: The voice acting was really bad, and the music is nothing special.
Overall: I was bored out of my mind watching this film, the credits showing the behind the scenes was way more interesting than the plot! I swear I was about to fall asleep at one point. Blue Seagull is a strange piece of Korean media, one that has faded into obscurity, and deservingly so (no offense to the production team). 1.7/10 Rounded to 2/10 for MAL score.

Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: Based off of a very obscure manga. Rather predictable and the viewers aren't given any information other than rabbits and camels being at war, the rabbits representing Americans (little Japanese pun, rabbit means Usagi USA gi) and the camels representing Arabs. There really isn't much to be said here in terms of story or plot. Very shallow.
Characters: There is only 22 minutes of run-time, so these characters weren't given the opportunity to develop or anything like that. They're shallow and are typical soldiers but get the job done.
Art/Animation: This is definitely this anime's strong suit. Everything, from the 3D models as well as the
...
3D rendered backgrounds look amazing! The animation is also rendered stupendously well, the movement is very smooth, the camera effects work well, and the action is eye candy! The visuals in this anime are stunning and stand out amongst the heaping pile of trash CGI anime out there for being visually great. CGI in anime doesn't get better than this!
Sound/Music: Voice acting was good, as expected from this medium. The sound effects work pretty good. The music made it feel more dramatic, though nothing too special.
Overall: I like it! It's a short, but very fun action-packed anime and I highly recommend you check it out if you're looking for something that isn't story, plot or character-heavy and something you can unwind with. It's lacking in narrative but the visuals excel in every sense of the word. Too bad there's only 1 episode for something that claims to be a series. 11 years and no new episodes? Come on :(
6.3/10 (Rounded to 6/10 for MAL score)!

Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: *sigh* Awful. Damn awful. My expectations when I decided to pick this up were high, and they did get lower when I decided to pick it up again, but I honestly wasn't expecting to be this disappointed. The premise is very unique and has room for a vast amount of potential, this could have been one of the best isekai anime of the Summer 2019 season... however, the execution was fucked beyond belief. This is
...
some of the worst writing I have ever seen. This should have been a normal isekai but with the protagonist's mom tagging along, it would have been much more easily executable for the author, because they clearly have a lack of writing skill to make the premise of "being isekai'd to reconcile with your mother" work; and the themes presented really don't fit with the comedic atmosphere of the show, they fit much better in a serious, mature setting. Cliché's run rampant throughout the anime, and tropes and fanservice are the pillar for this show's plot. Now, this story also has a weird side to it. It almost feels as though it's a parody, more so a satirical one. Everything plays out like a lighthearted comedy, it's as though it's not taking itself seriously. And if that's the case, which it feels like it is with the overwhelming amount of running gags and obvious clichés and overused tropes and fanservice littered throughout, then good. That means that this is an anime you can turn your brain off for and just take everything for what it is, which I actually did at times, and it made the experience a whole lot better. Oh, and I forgot to mention the light incest tone... yeah, I don't like it. A sister I can handle, but a mom? Sorry, but that's a hard no. Fortunately, the story doesn't try anything serious between Masato and his mother, and instead treats it as a comedy, so that's a relief.
Characters: If there was a supermarket that sold characters, these characters would be the bottled water. I'm sorry, but I found nothing really interesting about these characters. All of them are just built off of common, overused character archetypes and tropes that bring nothing new to the table... well, Medhi isn't based on existing tropes (I think) but she's still a boring character. Point made. Wise is your average tsundere, Medhi is, as stated earlier, boring, Masato is your average isekai protagonist, Mamako is the standard anime mom, and Porta is just... there. Like, she's just there tagging along for the ride lol. Average loli I guess? Anyways, the anime also tries to create chemistry between the characters but the writing won't allow for it.
Art/Animation: The stylistic choice for the eyes was a bit interesting. Instead of black pupils, we get white ones. Not like it really helps though. The animation is average, so there isn't much to say here.
Sound/Music: Super forgettable soundtrack. MC's voice sounded kinda cool, and Wise and Medhi's were meh. My main gripes are with Mamako and Porta. Mamako's voice just felt way too forced, so much so that at one point it started to annoy me and make me slightly cringe. Porta's voice sounds like a crack-addicted rat on helium.
Overall: If it weren't for the satirical parody type feel this show so often and obviously tried to give off, I swear I would have given this a 2, because without it, it's an absolutely dreadful experience. There is no way to enjoy this without turning off your brain. Now, it does have some merits. We don't see many anime (excluding hentai) centered around milfs. The whole milf thing was what captured my attention in the first place. And the mom is pretty damn hot, and I'm guessing one of her main roles is her sex appeal, so I can see why some people find this show appealing. Awful and rather boring, but enjoyable as long as you don't take it seriously. Bad characters put into semi-interesting situations but because of the awful writing it fails spectacularly.
Anyways, 3.4/10. Rounded to 3/10 for MAL score.

Ah, Ao Oni. A horror game many fans would've loved to see a great, faithful adaptation of, but instead they get comedy shorts and... this.
Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: I personally found the story to be rather intriguing, more so all of the backstory in this world. Unfortunately much of the narrative is lost through the excessive dialogue. Everything is explained through dialogue. EVERYTHING. Why'd it all have to be an info dump? Lots of dialogue isn't bad if it's interesting, I mean, I was invested in the mystery that was going on for the first half of the film somewhat, but it really could have been presented differently,
...
because it just feels like a load of talking. Now the plot isn't terrible, but it could have been executed so much better and the pacing was really slow. The film doesn't really have anything to do with Ao Oni either, only a folktale, Ao Oni itself, and mention of the game are in here. Holes are very obviously seen in the plot itself, and the ending is as unsatisfying as licking sand paper. Yeah, not very pleasing.
Characters: They had the time to make them likeable and add some personality to them! Murakami is the only one with some kind of character in this film, meanwhile the rest are wet cardboard! I've seen girls with more personality than them! Some have somewhat interesting backstories and relation to each other, but there isn't enough run time to flesh out everything and make the viewers care for them. Not to mention that they cut out the cast of Hiroshi, Mika, Takurou, and Takeshi for whoever the hell these boring characters are.
Art/Animation: These 3D models are ugly, man. The humans look so bizarre, and Ao Oni itself looks like an amalgamation! Why'd it have to be cheap CG? Did Studio Deen just say "Fuck it! We don't know how to make good 2D animation so let's do 3D!" The shitty animation also doesn't help, it makes it so much worse. Framerate lower than my self-esteem, clunky, robotic, unnatural movements, it's just all around very unpleasant to look at. Asylum Session, a film with some of the worst CG I've seen in this medium, at least had a unique and cool looking art style, cool character designs and good framerate, whereas this shitty CG film does not. Oh God and the way Ao Oni is animated makes me want to puke. This is the kind of half-assed ass-pull that would get you kicked out of an animation course. However, the gore was a very pleasant and unexpected surprise! It looks like shit but hey, still gore!
Sound/Music: Nice ending theme, passable voice acting, and music that sounds cool but would be much better off in a video game than in an anime. Other than that, nothing noteworthy.
Overall: It's bad. It's really fucking bad. Fans of Ao Oni will be disappointed by this heaping mound of fecal matter, or humored by the inclusion of a plant that makes people have sex with it, rots the person's genitals off, and then transforms them into Ao Oni. What... was going through the writer's minds when they came up with this shit? What were they thinking!? Horrible visuals, flat characters, a story that went nowhere, shitty "horror", and an insult to fans of the Ao Oni game... this is a disaster of a film. I enjoyed it somewhat though.
Score: 2.45/10 Rounded down to 2/10.

Asylum Session is one of the most odd things I've seen in this medium. The best term to describe it as would be "mixed bag".
Review:
Story/Plot/Writing: I have many conflicting thoughts regarding this area. The story is unique, for it's very different from your average dystopian or corrupt society story, and I really liked the idea of resisting the authorities through an artistic event, but it's really lacking in terms of depth. The whole thing just feels really shallow, since it doesn't delve too deep into the world it takes place in and doesn't give us much information. Why does the police want to take down
...
the Asylum town and evict the residents? What caused them to act in this way? What's the history behind this world? There was a war, but what caused it? The plot itself is very simple and works well, but it could have been much more complex and a lot more could have been done if everything was a little more fleshed out and if the world was explored further. The film also became really weird towards the end, it was almost as if it transitioned into a comedy with all of the crazy shit going on.
Characters: They were cool, almost damn cool! This along with its unique approach in the dystopian setting was definitely this film's strong suit. They're quite enjoyable, especially Akira, whose personality I found to be the most enticing of the bunch. One thing that really stuck out to me was the connection that Akira and Hiyoko formed throughout the film, it was very nice and it revealed some interesting things about the characters, which left them feeling more likeable and real. Through their conversations, we learn about what these characters are like and it gives us some background information on Akira. My only gripe is that while the film took the time to do this with the titular characters, it still didn't give us enough information about them, leaving them only slightly more fleshed out than the story. I really would've loved to see more of Akira and the Asylum resident's pasts and relationships (especially Akira), as well as Hiyoko, since we don't know much about her character, and what her relationships were with others (her parents).
Art/Animation: The art style, like the story, is very unique. The character designs are very different from one another and it has a certain edge to it, especially with the heavy street vibes it gives off. In my opinion, this would have worked out a lot better in 2D. It could have shone brightly among all the similar style anime we have, because man it looks cool! Now, I can't talk about this film without addressing the elephant in the room: The quality of the art and animation. While the art STYLE is unique, the actual art itself (the 3D models) look really bad, almost horrendous I should say. Definitely not the worst ever, but nowhere near good. The renderings look as rough as my first Blender project, and the cel-shading takes a really long time to get used to. Then there's the animation, which can be extremely crude and jarring at times, specifically the movements which feel awkward and stiff as hell. This is some of the worst CG I have ever seen in anime, it might even be worse than Ex-Arm.
Sound/Music: The music was very fitting and stood out to me a lot. I mean, the guy who made the film was a musician. The voice acting was good as well.
Overall: For a film that was nearly a one man project, it left me impressed. Sure it looks awful, but this was done by someone who had very little experience with animation and just decided to make an animated film one day and just went and did it. This film also did a great job at conveying its messages to the audience through some surprisingly special and touching moments in it, especially the scene where Akira and Hiyoko are under a bridge after the police try to evict everyone and try to demolish the stadium. It gets you thinking. You know, this film really isn't that bad. I'd go as far as to say that it's good, but the visuals really hinder the quality of the film.
Would I recommend Asylum Session? Yes, even to those looking for a "bad" anime to watch, since this can be hilarious at times due to the animation. 5.4/10 Rounded to 5/10 for MAL score.

Hey you! Yes, you! Are you a real man? Do you think you have what it takes to call yourself a man? Do you want to prove your manliness to the world? Well, look no further, lad! This anthology is the DEFINITIVE ultimate test! Well, that is, until you plunge deeper into the doujinshi abyss, but that won't be for quite some time...
What's that? You've watched all 3 OVA's from the Boku no Pico series? Pfft! That's child's play! You really thought THAT was the final test? Oh, oh no, you sweet child. That
...
was merely the beginning of your descent. This is where the real shit is at!
This manga will destroy you, mock you, humiliate you, make you question your humanity, morals, and existence. It is a cruel, grueling challenge that'll make you want to rip your dick off and gargle blended rat balls that have been regurgitated by an owl into a bowl crafted from elephant foreskin once you've finished. If you cannot make it through this manga, I hate to break it to you, but you are simply not a man, and are unfit to venture into the deeper zones of the abyss.
Story - 10/10
Shoujo Netsu consists of 7 different stories.
Want to see a father and daughter fuck at school in front of the teachers and other students? Here it is daddy~!
Want to see a middle schooler get REKT (not really) by her gym teacher? Here you go.
Want to see one of the most messed up ritual loli cult rape shit ever? Yes, officer, this shit right here.
Wanna see some borderline ugly bastard screw a bunch of horny kids in a classroom + loli/shota orgy? Uh, we have that too.
Do you want a story where lolis dressed in cute costumes who live in a forest by themselves are taken to a school by 2 random dudes and then 2 of them get fucked for misbehaving? Gotchu homie.
Want some classic brother-sister incest hentai? You can count on me, onii-chan~!
Want to see a girl fuck a guy on a subway? You're welcome.
7 loli stories. One of the best tests of endurance out there, unless you're some kind of lolicon pervert who's into some really fucked up shit-- shit even I wouldn't get off to. But, to be completely honest, the plots in each of these are better-- or rather, more unique than a lot of other hentai of this kind out there, and some of the settings are pretty unique and have things I've never seen in this medium before.
That being said, reading through all of these is easier said than done. It's no easy feat, as it presents you with the strenuous, near impossible task of looking at what is basically child porn.
Art - 10/10
Ame to Toge (Amagappa Shoujogun) has a really neat and realistic art style. When it's not showing rape or torture, it's really pleasant to look at. I think the girls and their designs are somewhat generic but they do look very cute (fucking weirdo). The attention to detail is great and everything looks well drawn. It almost feels like you're looking at actual photographs of a dog licking a 9 year old's-
If you haven't gouged your eyes out or tried slitting your throat using your shirt while reading, your existence has been acknowledged by the council and you have been promoted from "pussy" to "wussy". And if you happened to become aroused at some point, you have my respect.
Character - 10/10
"Hop in King, we're going to rape city." - Ivan IV Vasilyevich (probably)
Enjoyment - 10/10
1. Jugyou Sankan (Parent's Day) - This one made me cringe and ask "why?". I'm not into father-daughter loli incest but if that's your jam then go ahead, you sick cunt! The fact that they are doing it in front of an entire classroom makes it even more dreadful to read. But then again if a dad fucking his daughter in front of an entire classroom is your jam then fap away!
2. Houkago Shoujo (After School Girl) - This one was okay. Nothing unbearable or anything, even those with little experience can get through this one with relative ease. A lolicon gym teacher fucks a student... that's pretty much it. The ending is hilarious though (at least by hentai standards).
3. Shinsei Gishiki (Divine Ritual) - This is where the punches stop being pulled and the big guns are pulled out! Oh yeah, we ain't fuckin' around now! Divine ritual my ass! Nothing about this ritual is divine! The difficulty really ramps up, so much so that it gifted me with a feeling of displeasure that not many works in the world of fiction have accomplished. If you don't want to see a 9 year old get *ahem* you know what... then I advise you skip this one (however, it's required to complete all of these to pass). The twist ending is good though, and it explains why the events happened. Still fucked up as shit!
4. Hakase no Ijou na Yokujou [Story: Kuu] - This one is really strange since the students are... enjoying it...? The borderline ugly bastard makes this one a bit difficult to read. But if you're an ugly bastard (which if you find an orgasmic level of pleasure from reading this you likely are), you may find yourself enjoying this one. *gelbooru user enters the room* (don't un-blacklist the loli tag on gelbooru and scroll through the comments! Worst mistake of my life!)
5. Kichigaigari [Story: Amegumo Tsunami] - This one is one of the weirdest and unique hentai I've ever read. The fuck scenes are bearable and not TOO bad, but are still kinda messed up nonetheless because there's an old ass fucking motherfukkin' McFucker who rapes the adorable lolis! WAIT I didn't say anything! I just said they were adorable, you hentai baka~! >w<
Anyways, don't like to see old bastards having their way with little girls? Too bad! I don't either but this is how I became a man!
6. Awake II - This one is just a classic brother-sister incest hentai. No rape or anything, just incest. None of this fancy "rape" or "netorare" or "ugly bastard" or "tentacle" shit! Just plain ass, pure, normal, no question about it, not named after an artist, not named after the artist's coach, not named after the artist's coach's pet loli, no shota, no father-daughter, no daughter-mother, no quarter-back- JUST SIMPLE, ORDINARY, UNDILUTED, UNCONTAMINATED, CRYSTAL CLEAR, STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, AS BLUNT AS A HAMMER, IT'S MOTHERFUCKING, GODDAMNED FUCKING BROTHER-SISTER INCEST HENTAAAIIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's a lot easier to read compared to the other ones, but if bro-sis incest isn't your kind of thing, then I won't force you to read it.
7. Yume wo Meguru Enkan - Tired from all that rape? Thankfully, the seventh and final story is also a relatively easy read in comparison to the rest, just like the sixth one. This time it's just a girl (a loli) and a guy having a pretty good time on a subway. The ending is nice as well. None of this fancy "rape" or "netorare" or "ugly bastard" or "tentacle" shit! Just plain ass, pure, normal, no question about it, no custom udon, no-
You'd think that after reading all this shit I would give the enjoyment part a 1, right? Well, you thought wrong, bitch! Thanks to this manga (and a few dozen others), I am now immune to everything, hentai or not. Like bro, Urotsukidoji has no effect on me anymore. Shoujo Ramune? HAH! That yogurt tastes as fucking delicious as a white, dripping popsicle on a hot summer day. Oyasumi Sex? I fucked (i mean raped) your sister already! Boku no Pico? "Miss me with that gay shit!" no more, SHOWER ME WITH THAT GAY SHIT! Euphoria? Damn BDSM is hot like two dogs in the house and two balls in my mouth! Bondage Game? Y- uhh... oops! Sorry, it's still too early for you to be venturing into scat and gore!
Overall - 10/10
I'll appreciate the unique settings and strange stories for most of these. I'm fine with loli shit but jesus fucking christ on rollerskates picking up babies on a tulip farm this is just too much! Reading the entirety of Shoujo Netsu seems like an impossible mission to accomplish, but trust me, you'll get through it eventually, and once you do, you'll finally be able to call yourself a man.
Oh! I almost forgot to mention Oogetsuhime no Yama! If you're looking for a test to plunge further down into the next level, that is it! This is confidential information between you and me... be warned, you are normally supposed to read this once you've entered or are about to enter the guro zone, but I'm giving you this sneak peak anyway! It still doesn't have an entry on MAL yet, though!

Story - 1
First, let me talk about the description. The description is VERY MISLEADING. I thought this was gonna be about the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami from 2011 but throughout its entire runtime, there isn't a single mention of it. No, it's not even a part of the story. I'm sure that they only included it to try and lure people in. The story lacks depth and doesn't really go anywhere, nor does it have some sort of message that it tries to give the viewer. What about the plot? There is no plot.
Next, let me talk about the actual story. What the story is
...
actually about, is a generic "girl meets boy" romance, and it even fails in doing that.
Art & Animation - 4
The background art is great... and that's just about the only good thing this had to offer.
The art style and the character designs look like they're from 2009 or something like that. It wasn't pleasing in the slightest and sometimes the characters look kinda ugly. They go off model a lot and that really takes away from the experience.
The animation isn't even good either. Actually, it was bad. The characters movements felt stiff, clunky, and unnatural. It didn't feel realistic. The worst part is the part when the girls are playing their violins for their exhibition. It looked like really bad CG, and the movements felt uncanny and the characters were shaking a lot. It reminds me of how the characters tremble in Aku no Hana. It felt rotograved or like they traced CG animation! There were even parts where I could tell it was CG!
Sound - 4
At least the music wasn't terrible. The ending song is okay, but the rest of the music was forgettable and most of the time I didn't even notice it. The voice acting isn't very good, especially the male lead.
Characters - 1
I didn't really care about the characters. They were all bland, generic, and 1 dimensional. The main girl, Sachi wasn't very interesting and the only "trait" she really has is that she can play the violin. Her friends are even less interesting and they're only there for the sake of being there. Hii-chan is a comedy relief and her other friend... I don't even know what to describe her as. The male lead (forgot his name) was also quite bland. Everything about them was so bland and emotionless, and they really lacked depth, character, and personalities.
Enjoyment - 2
I was bored the entire time. The only scene that caught my attention was when the main character took off her clothes as well as the background art.
Overall - 3
This was pretty boring. I wouldn't watch it again or recommend it. The romance was cringe and predictable.
