I'm just a gamer who likes strategy games, RPGs, and anime, obviously.
About me and stuff...
About me...
I'm a college student (formerly homeschooled) who enjoys anime and video games. Some of my other hobbies include watching and uploading videos to YouTube, sleeping, and getting exercise. I'm pretty active on Steam, if ya wanna talk to me or anything.
My favorite genres are action and comedy (I do enjoy other stuff too though). I also like it when animes include games, which is why Log Horizon is my favorite! I'm a sucker for good animation too, so I probably won't watch stuff that are older than I am :P I know I'm probably missing out on a lot, but if I'm watching something, I want it to look good, ya know?
I'm also kinda a completionist when it comes to anime. Even if I don't like an anime, I will pretty much force myself to finish it, just for the heck of it. I mean, I may be missing out on something, after all. Just maybe. (I may put it on hold, but I ALMOST never drop.) That includes new seasons and all. Good for a lotta stuff, but not so good for a whole lot of other stuff.
I see anime as a medium of entertainment. As such, when it comes to rating stuff, I will rate primarily on how much I enjoyed a series, with a side focus on how well the series completed its overall goal. For example, I won't analyze a pure comedy's plot and try to compare it to a deep, story-rich anime because they just can't be compared. I notice that a lot of the time people hate on shows just because it doesn't live up to their own expectations of having an excellent, deep, thought-provoking storyline and stuff, when that is not the show's focus a lot of the time. I honestly can't stand it when people do that, but that's just my opinion. Everybody's free to have their own, after all!
A little of my history with anime...
Although I have seen a few episodes of anime when I was younger, I never really watched it much. Back in 2013 and 2014, I got really into watching video game walkthroughs on YouTube. That introduced me to some JRPGs, such as the Persona series. I watched that and, in summer 2014, watched the anime adaptation of Persona 4. I liked it, but didn't really go looking for more anime. Later, I got into the Phoenix Wright series, and saw that there was a parody of it in No Game No Life (episodes 3 and 4, I think). After watching No Game No Life in winter 2014, anime finally caught my interest. I've been watching ever since!

Well to be honest that April fools joke the administrators played on us got me thinking
Maybe being a site moderator wouldn't be as bad as it looks. How about we take over MAL to start off our rampage?
Would you like to plot some evil schemes together? :D
