My Neighbour Totoro, gotta watch the poster child of Ghibli! I've got Nausicaa and Only Yesterday (only has jap dub) if you wanna borrow them, Porco Rosso I hold close to my heart definitely recommend you watch ASAP, Kiki's Delivery Service is really feel good and cutesy, Ponyo is like Ghibli's Fantasia it's an animators wet dream, Cat Returns is the shortest, I think, about 70 minutes long and another fun, feel good adventure.

I haven't watched Whisper of the Heart (seems connected of some sort to Cat Returns), Pom Poko, My Neighbors the Yamada's, Tales from Earthsea and the ones passed Arriety, From Up On Poppy Hill, The Wind Rises (Hayao Miyazaki's last animated film) and The Tale of Princess Kaguya just came out. So hope this helps :p

I just think Erwin is because he's the head of the Survey Legion and really wants to make an offensive on the Titans, also increasing the Legion's status in the process. For 100 years everyone's been cowering behind the walls and hiding from the Titans while the Survey Legion get their asses handed to them, then everyone berates them and question their usefulness. So to make everyone realize they need the Legion, as well as strengthen humanity in general, Erwin, my main suspect, plans the breaching of the wall, starting at a lower populated area to not cause as many casualties but also make the point humanity isn't ready for a breach. Suddenly, the military gets a ton of funds for artillery and weapons and in the last episode Erwin's talked his way into heading this project of finding the human Titans. I know what you mean though but he's basically the only suspect I've got, aside from Pixis XD I'm also thinking they're making human Titans to strengthen the walls and the children who are injected are sort of bred to be cold, efficient soldiers and/or sent to the wall, sacrificing a few for the sake of others. I really don't know about this though I'm just coming up with some ideas on what it means hahah.

"ADRENALIIINE!!!" Perfect word XD you're so right too, it really did know the audience it wanted and there's so much quality in everything it's such a good anime movie, btw I've got to buy Redline before Armageddon so he can sign it for me! I know about Kill La Kill and I really want to start it but I'm going to with Tuck, I always watch things with him I've already seen plus I'll give it a few more episodes before I do. Speaking of Gurren Lagann HURRY UP AND WATCH IT!

Just finished the final episode of Attack on Titan. HO-LY SHIP. Human titans inside the walls???? Remember the Colossal Titan only kicked through the gates leaving the walls untouched??? And Erwin talking about humanity being stronger from this?!?!?! I'm friggin' telling you right now he's shady, all these plans he has and so much focus on him he's gotta be evil! Amazing fight too my jaw hit the ground when Eren went inferno XD
PickleVortex Sep 17, 2013 12:07 AM
Holy crap and you watched both 1-2.0! Do NOT watch anything else until we see it XD btw gimme both of them back on Thursday if I can make it, turns out Tuck is planning to watch 3.0 too.

Just read your comment and it's so true, definitely one of the most beautiful looking anime and it really just surprised me with everything, the surprising rawness of the violence, the characters and their motivations (Morisaki was so sad to me) and just everything general really hahaha I didn't expect it to be so good. What it reminded me of was the old school Ghibli, stuff like Mononoke and Laputa, it's definitely inspired by Miyazaki's work and it's a really good throw back to the old fantasy days. Damn, Children Who Chase Lost Voices, such a fitting title as well it gets my feels going XD

Oh btw, Psycho-Pass was friggin AMAZING! It's definitely one of the most intense anime I've watched and I couldn't guess what would happen next, the writing's very raw and clever it reminds me a lot of Ghost in the Shell, elite team of efficient badassery and philosophies clashing, but it by no means is a replica it's just a similar idea. Everything about the anime is just incredible so definitely check it out soon :D

I'm getting so sick of watching nothing happen XD They have one objective and they're just taking forever with it because they want to talk until they can throw another cliffhanger at you, it's so frustrating because this was a damn good anime until it started pulling this. I think you've got the right idea, if the next episode goes no where I'm going to just wait until it's finished.

Just read your comments on Pandora Hearts, between the anime and manga, it's such a 180 hahaha. That's impressive it got a 10 from what you said about the anime, is it just done better in the manga? I haven't read any of the Berserk manga I just know it looks pretty amazing lol. If the anime was the first story arc then I see why you think Guts is an ass,I thought he was too, but later you see why and, in the end, I really did like the character. So good luck with that keep me updated on how it is, I'm surprised it's at 60 chapters.

I swear if Attack on Titan ends in another cliff hanger instead of wanting to get something accomplished I will hurt things smaller than me....If it happens again I think I'm going to wait until the series is finished because the vain in my neck is about to burst from the frustration XD
PickleVortex Jun 15, 2013 10:08 AM
I am indeed pumped to see this movie but I can't :( I'm finishing the series with Tuck first and then we're both going to jump in not knowing what will happen but thanks for the link :D
Speaking of Tuck we just watched the last 2 episodes of Fate/Zero. Finally he's clicked onto why it's so good!!! He really got into the episodes and started thinking back to everything that happened and he's going to watch again so mission accomplished hahaha. Been so cool to finally have a good conversation with him on Fate/Zero and what it's about now that he fully understands what I've been saying about it, also I have NOW officially watched the series more times than you so hurry and defend your anime! XD

SO LEGIT!!!! Thanks so much just added to my favorites. I think Clint will like it, he'll definitely pick up what's good about Fate/Zero, that's not to say Tuck isn't intelligent, he's really smart when it comes down to media, but he can't admit he has bias towards anime, on top of that he's not a fan of the genre. He kept saying Fate/Zero is comparable to other mediocre anime I've seen that are just in the same genre and it makes it difficult to watch with him. We're on the last 2 episodes and I'm just thinking should we should stop or not, I can't take the bias and his refusal to explain what he doesn't like and not being able to talk to him about the show without making him mad lol.
PickleVortex Jun 4, 2013 3:31 AM
No no no it's the wrong OST it's the song that only plays at that final scene of Alexander just full out charging at Gilgamesh like a boss and has that friggin' epic choir.
PickleVortex Jun 4, 2013 3:18 AM
Honestly I think it's because it's anime and that's all, he just won't get into it until the action comes up. However, he did like episode 11 and he's been slowly getting interested into the good stuff when season 2 showed up but he's got a "yeah but nah" mentality about everything and even said Fate/Zero isn't as character based as it should be....I had words with him about that XD. Let it build up it gets so intense and the episodes all end on cliff hangers that make you want to cry when the credits roll.

I'm actually really interested in Fame of Thrones and have had nothing to think otherwise hahaha. Watching Sherlock gave me faith in live dramas so my thoughts are if Sherlock was amazing then Game of Thrones is amazing-er so I'll start when I get through some of me and Tucks anime.

Also shotties for the OST and I'm not friggin' stubborn!!!
PickleVortex Jun 3, 2013 11:34 PM
BTW! Do you know the song that plays when Rider charges Gilgamesh at the bridge? That's been in my head forever since I watched it again it's just so epic....
