Well Ao No exorcist is an anime that comes out just as advertised. Its an above average shonnen about the son of Satan.. Who ironically becomes an exorcist. Its really just a good show to burn some time. Tough id say its much better than most shonnens, its about as good as SAO(1st 15 episode SAO> AO NO EXORCIST>last 16-25) both above average, but falling short of true greatness(IMO). Shall we get on with the review?
Story:8/10 Story was where it was hit the hardest, it had a great base idea. Son of Satan fighting to kill daemons and eventually Satan
...
himself? Sound pretty epic right? It is for the most part. Yet, epic plot holes are left. I cant rly judge it though I mean it ends on filler and there is probably a season 2 so ya... just because of that it gets a 8/10 for an above average shonnen story line. Satan's back-story episodes are the best in the series(IMO).
Art:8/10 Just good id say. They didn't go anywhere crazy with the art direction. No shaft style battles or hidden symbolism. Yet it kept nice flow in fights and had so fluid motion. but it did suffer at one point from sub par CGI.
Sound:9/10 This track is epic. The main battle theme "exorcist" has found its way into my heart. It truly gives you the feeling of fighting daemons for the sake of the world.... just epic. Though it did go into the beauty category, these mainly played in the flash backs.
Character: 8/10 Now i would have given characters average, because that is what the vast majority are.... all the humans, but Shiro Fujimoto are average characters. Yet, its the demons that have the best characters. Namely Satan himself and Mephisto... that clever clever bastard. but besides these 3 the characters are pretty much average... yes even the protagonist.
Enjoyment:8/10 it was good, i mean better than most, yet i couldn't call it great or amazing. its just above the norm. All in all Ao No exorcist was the 2nd best shonnen of 2011 (1st being HunterxHunter IMO). Thus i give Ao No exorcist an 8/10

Well If i was to describe Reline in a phrase(sentences overrated), id say "Eye Candy". Redline Is not something you watch for the plot, but for the epic animation; its fluid moves, Its epic turns, and most of all when the nitro kicks in and we all got to plaid (space-balls anyone?). Well im going cut this review short. Well because its only a 1 hour 42 min movie that some how has found its way on my Ipod (by legal Means).
Story:7/10 Average, not something for the plot. Its about intergalactic Racing deal with it.(all i can say is the disrespect).(NO SPOILERS
...
IN MY REVIEWS, NOT EVEN A HINT. YOU'LL GET MORE FROM THE SITE SUMMERY THAN ILL EVERY GIVE)
Art:10/10 Hand drawn over 7 years, hands down the best art ive seen in anime thus far (but not art direction). Everything is frame by frame 30 fps, full movie quality with epic moves that send shivers down your spine.Ill say it again its, "eye Candy".
Sound:9/10: Its second Best part is the song, which seems to go in time with the animation so well it makes everything look cool. To describe the sound all I can say is UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ UNTZ(look up Yellow line if you want).
Character 8/10: The Characters have virtually no development(its a 1 hour 42 min movie, what you expect?). Basically the characters are as they are presented. Yet, these Characters are so well drawn and unique that you cant help but to somewhat like them. Redline throws us a pot with a funky Universe and a dash of weird Aliens and Machines . That with stellar Character Design paves the way for the movie. Its this Varied Colorful cast of intergalactic racers that give the Characters 8/10
Personal Enjoyment:9/10 im a person for the plot so that hurt a little, but the Visuals and the epic moments just drew me in, Id recommend this to anyone, because almost anyone can like it. If you wanna spend a good 102 min well. Then look no further than Redline.

Well Few Anime can be called Epic, and Baccano also cannot be called as such. Yet, when i think Baccano, the first thing to come to mind is "SWAG". Most Animes (unlike Beebop and Samurai Champloon) dont have swag, and I find it to bea rare thing in anime that we need more of. K now down to the review.
Story 9/10:
The story is Amazing it just has one flaw, the Alchemist plot with immortality had too much focus. I had hoped to dwell more on the Mob Families. The story though, Takes 3 complicated and separate stories, and then ties it together with 2 idiots.(no

just good, nothing more to say, though it did have some very fluid fight scenes.
Sound 9/10:
with a Jazzy score to rival Beebop, you cant really hate the sound, Though songs often repeat(yet are great just not much variety).
Character 10/10:
Well some of the best Characters ever, Issac and Miria are just perfect, and Firo is just SWAG man 2.0, with a cast full of interesting characters all of which end up being likable. The story has no main Character and told by multiple perspectives. Thus no clear progression of plot till the end.
Enjoyment 10/10:
Baccano is simply wonderful, mysterious and entertaining, with a colorful cast of wonderful Characters and unpredictable story. Resulting in an Amazing narrative, Thus overall Baccano gets a....

INTRO: Mawaru is a Very interesting show. I saw nothing critically wrong with it, besides some pacing issues. Yet, as a warning this show is not for everyone. I recommend it if you love, I MEAN love shows like Stiens Gate, Madoka Magica, or Lain. Otherwise this show is gonna seem off. Its full of hidden symbolize and is harder to understand than Madoka or Steins Gate. This is because in the end they dont show you how everything came together. You need to think back. They dont explain it for you. Thus your really need to pay attention or the
...
ending wont make any sense. Yet, if you do pay attention, and you like things that make you think. Mawaru Penguindrum will be sure to impress.
Story: 9/10: Pacing plagues these shows for some reason. Because they make you ponder. Thus they sometimes leave your bored. Yet, Mawaru Penguindrum overall is excellent in the story category. With so many twists and turns its hard to keep track of whats going on. Yet, in the end everything comes together, and nothing was what it seemed.
Art: 9/10: amazing in its own right. odd art style like Madoka or Lian, but suffers from repeating images and scenes.(probably didnt have much more money idk)
Sound: 9/10 Every song sounds like a fresh winter breeze. The op's are great, the ed's just as good too. But, ost's are a true shinning point. They are amazing. Yet, also the weak spot, as it repeats a few really amazing songs over and over.
Characters: 9/10 Probably its strongest point. No spoilers, but let me say that none of the main characters are how they seem or who they seem. Yet, some supporting people were not dynamic. an thus a 9/10.
Enjoyment: 10/10 (opinions vary on taste. This is my personal enjoyment)
Its is an amazing show if you give your undivided attention. It is hard to understand, and rightly so. Remember it will not explain the end unlike steins gate or Madoka. You the watcher need to decode this show to see what truly happened. I enjoyed trying to figure out what went on, and when it all clicked in the end for me i felt truly inspired. Thus MAwaru Penguindrum gets a...

Code Geass is nothing more than a Fun watch(this is a Review for both Seasons. Im not writing 2). I say this because nothing, but the action and plans coming together are good. Frankly the Sound track is plain annoying(whats with the jazz on Geass use? srsly), and the show cant go 5 minutes without fan service. Sigh* I do not see the love for this anime. It seem fan girls go gaga over lelouch and guys of hot girls and mecha. The only redeeming factors are the Strategies (which go out the window in R2) and the rare good scenes such as the
...
ending (loved the ending, but not much else) and the few semi sad things, but pretty much laughed at those "sad" things.
Story: 7/10: just ok, good base idea, then you just butchered it, and the Geass and new OP MECH became the solution to everything(Lelocouch gonna loose? OP MECH APPEARS). With comedy that is not even funny and ok script writing. In conclusion the story is ok with the only redeeming things being the ending and the fights.
Art: 8/10 Very good for its time, but still not amazing.
Sound: 5/10 , Just plain bad, only good ost is for the sad scenes and the ending.
Character: 7/10: not bad. Some interesting people, but none change, but Lelouch, wasn't a very bad protagonist, i even slightly connected with him . but otherwise the Characters are just ok.
Enjoyment: 8/10: enjoyable, a very guilty please, fun fights and i always get a giddy feeling when a plan comes together. Yet, All in all due to an ok story and a pretty much lack of any good music. Code Geass gets a ...

Ok then SAO . Hmm well to start its not that bad, yet not that good either. I feel its hated on too much, and over rated at the same time. Its just "good".
Story: 7/10 Its good, but not completely original, i mean how many times have you seen a story about being trapped in a video game? Hell even Fairly odd parents went there when I was a kid. Yet, it does have some interesting ideas about the stress on humans in virtual reality, and i love how the world was made to look. People say this story is "deep" and pulls "heartstrings", but
...
this simply isn't the case. Please if you want heartstrings to be pulled, watch Madoka Magica or Angel Beats, heck maybe even Clannad (if that's your thing). I just feel people like it and hate it for the wrong reasons.
Art: 8/10 Pretty Beautiful world and very smooth, probably best thing next to the music.
Sound:9/10 The music was amazing, but the sound effects needed some work. Kirito sounded like he had is yells taken for Legend of Zelda, and the slashes sometimes didn't sound very satisfying.
Character: 6/10 iafter episode 3 it looks like the Characters will be interesting, but nope. The only interesting Character really was Sachi or Heathcliff (wanted to know what he was thinking, but they didn't explain his reasons very well). Yet, the rest of the cast fell short. Asuna was a common tsundere, and Kirito your average male protagonist out to protect his girl on a quest. And everyone else is just there for the ride.
Enjoyment:8/10 Its a nerdy Guilty please that I still watch every week even though its not that good. Yet I light up with nerdy pleasure over the MMO aspects of this anime (Im sorry). it has some good fights, and the world is just plain beautiful(i loved the menus BTW). These are SAO's redeeming factors (IMO). Thus all in all SAO gets a...

Intro: Madoka Magica is my personal Favorite, but my reviews are unbiased (i try) so i shall talk about the pros and cons. (it just connected with me personally) .Yet, there are flaws that may affect some people.
Story:10/10, Ok not many people argue against that Madoka has an amazing story. With so many twist and turns your left mind blown, and with a roller coaster of feels. Thus a 10 out of 10 (wont spoil anything)
Art: 9/10 would be 10 out of ten, but somethings are not rendered smoothly and thus sometimes the charters don't look like they belong there(only noticeable after many re
...
watches 1st 3 times blinded by story).
Sound: 9/10 Generally Great, many amazing songs, yet i personally thought the op should have changed in latter episodes(you shall see why). Yet, the ost's are amazing. They fit right in the moment. They are dark when its called for, epic when things get real, and just plain beautiful when the feels hit. Thus due to the op not changing to fit the story a 9/10.
Characters: 8/10 The weakest link in Madoka. The characters personalities are stereotypical and Madoka is a winy you know what, for about 90% of the series. Yet, over their stereo typical personalities the characters do change. They become insanely human as the story progresses. Its not the personalities that's the good part of the Characters. Its what that person morally represents that is good. Yet, the lack of good base personality results in an 8/10
Enjoyment: 10/10 (results may very upon tastes) Madoka Magica isn't for everyone. it is a serious emotional tale. it is a good watch for most, but is only truly amazing to some. thus results may vary.
Final:9/10 Madoka magica is a wonderful tale. with amazing music and plot twists that a sure to satisfy all, but only truly amazing to some.

Well Here we are Tengen Toppa. Not much to say about this show, but expect the unexpected. Its a great story with not many flaws, but there are some. such as the endless cliches that appear in the 2nd half. The art is great and the final battle fills me with glee. N lets talk about music. Tengen Toppa has a very interesting score, but no the best, I found the ops to be annoying (IMO i know lots of people like them), but Libre me from hell was a master piece. Characters were all in all good, but the adding of characters annoyed me,
...
and some times the interaction was repetitive. These are flaws i only noticed from 2nd watch, and thus the enjoyment for a 1st time watched is probably 2nd to few. Over all Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagan is an Amazing show filled with comedy at first, but the switches to a semi serious tone by 2nd season. With its flamboyant characters and over the top action and comedy, you shall enjoy this roller coaster of laughs and "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK I AMS". Thus Tegen Toppa Gurren Lagan Gets a 9/10

Steins Gate is an amazing tale about the consequences of time travel, and the psychological effect it has on our main protagonist Okabe. Steins gate is an anime that makes you think while also being in a thrilling package. although the pacing at time is mundane and down right bad(episodes 6-12, IM looking at you). Yet, when all the answers come together in the end you shall be left speechless. You shall realize after re-watch, all the subtle things that are now obvious to you, and how they all come together in the final conclusion. First, art which was unimpressive, but not bad,
...
2nd sound also just "good". Now Characters Okabe, from Steins; Gate is probably the best character i have ever seen. He is out going a funny, but also way out in left field, yet he is also so human it hurts. Its the journey of Okabe and how he changes that truly makes Steins;Gate so amazing. This all combines into one of the greatest anime experiences ever and my personal 2nd favorite(1st also from 2011). THUS 9/10

Amazing anime; Gen Urobuchi strikes again, with the best anime of 2012( IMO and thus far). Fat/ Zero has one problem. Which is not necessarily the writers fault, the ending. Which is wtf because is has to set up for Fate/Stay night ( Fate/Zero is Far superior), but this hurts it from getting a 10/10, and thus got a 8/10 for story (im picky with endings, deal with it). Yet,every other category was nearly flawless, the art budget is 2nd only to possibly sword art online for this year, and a score so epic that it puts lord of the rings to sham. The
...
Characters each had their own motives, and wants which really added to the amazing story(besides the ending). All in all Fate/Zero does amazingly in the action Category with beautifully choreographed fight scenes, ranging from duels to dogfights, and on top of the action the amazing music and story create a truly epic and a dark piece. Fate/Zero ( IMO) is the must watch of 2012.
