Ha ha ha, not a bad thought process there. I haven't personally met anyone past their 30s who's into anime, nor anything weirder. Probably because I wasn't out-going in college, didn't really socialize outside of the class. I add anime music all the time XD, at the very least, once per season lol.

So I'm binge-watching shows, now. Clearly some of the titles I had picked up were a mistake to pick up, they're so dulllll.

I agree, adulthood makes you learn to balance/juggle a lot of things in life, and sometimes it doesn't work out the way you plan. I at least can say for sure I watched more anime while I was in college than I have when I graduated it's not just because I had three-four years to watch a lot.

Speaking of catching up, I need to catch up on all the things. This is the final stretch of the season where I typically go into binge-watching mode, and it kind of sucks. I need to regulate myself better on how many shows to watch every season.

So judging from that sentence, you started watching it on campus grounds, then XD? Had to use a proxy to get around those parental controls, or was this just my high school that had that?

Also not sure if I had ever once brought it up, but apologies for the lack of response. It's a bad habit of mine xD.

The incest wasn't as big of a problem as the rest of the show.

I thought the show as a whole could have been a lot better. The first half was meh and the second half wasn't very likable.

Sword Art Online is worth the watch simply because you get to say you've seen it.

I personally thought it was pretty bad, but it's definitely worth watching and seeing what all the fuss is about.

That's the thing though, I really enjoy discussions of anime and why certain ones are good or bad. It's so immature when someone starts insulting you because you like it or dislike it. I don't think I've had someone do that to me who wasn't a friend, (yet) but I always see people do it to others in the community and it gets me salty.

It's natural to silently judge someones tastes. We can't help it, (unless you're practically perfect) but there is a difference between keeping it to yourself and telling them their tastes are garbage. Everyone judges someone for what they like subconsciously, it can't be helped. If you see someone give the best anime you've ever seen a 1/10 and they give the worst anime you've seen a 10/10, it's hard not to silently judge their tastes. So at that point it's the moment of truth, whether or not to tell them their tastes are "shit." If you keep it to yourself or have a mature discussion with them about it, then you're not an asshole, if you go "fuck you, you've got no taste you fuck," then you're an asshole xD
