Welcome to the N.H.K. is one of my fav anime of all time
The 1st time i watched it was in 2014 and i cried a lot afterwards because it showed me the path i was on.I am still a neet like Satou in 2023 , i wasn't able to change my ways but the anime showed me that life will not get better with wishful thinking

Story - It takes few episodes to get the story started but once it does, you won't be able to stop watching. It focuses on issues like depression, anxiety, worthlessness and how people with such issues have a hard time ... fitting into society. Satou dropped out of his college and stopped going outside much like me, he had a fear of people and people judging him based on his choice of not wanting to participate in society.
Many characters are introduced Misaki, Yamazaki who get the story going, the story is such an emotional rollercoaster and if you can relate to Satou on any level, you are surely going to feel the story more and more. It has everything , slight romance, reality checks, funny at times, extra sad as well. You will see struggles of other characters as well

Art - I have rewatched it many times and after a while i did think that the art looks kinda old, it did come out such a long time ago. You will still like it and get used to it, the artstyle is cute and suits the story

Music- After watching the anime, i listened to the opening, ending and other music. The music and songs are pretty good and add to the story so much

Enjoyment- I am kinda shocked that many people didn't like the anime at all. Goes without saying, i enjoyed it a lot on many levels and love the trio a lot. If you haven't seen it, you definitely should!
