Yeah Idk, people have just gotten so desensitized from all the anime they are watching. Even if we might find it weird, we can still accept that it is just "anime" to some degree. Probably true for you as well. Things you might have thought were weird when you started watching now seems fairly "normal". But imagine if Oshi no Ko, or other anime that are weird like this, went to the mainstream. Those people would trash it in the same way, I don't think I came with any unique insights on that show, but rather just comon sense.

Maybe we should be a bit harsh, or maybe more vocal about things that just aren't okay. We might get less of the weird animes then.

Yeah and I don't even think I was that provocative in my review. I took my chances to make fun of it, sure. But I made sure not to insult anyone who might like it. Sadly that doesn't work when they feel insulted anyway, but I tried.

Yeah, I feel like I am just having enough time to watch everything that gets released.

I suppose it is a change in the overall culture. Like, sometimes it feels like it has become "cool" to be shameless and accept everything as they are. But Idk

Yeah, I don't know, at the end of the day people take these series way too seriously xD There is literally war and poverty, but me writing a review ruined someones day appearently.

Ahh, the bad comments don't even face me, like what you said before. There are more important things to care about and the fact that someone got so mad about my review on an anime speaks volumes about the type of person it is hahaha

Ahh, I am happy you liked my review! Thank you! Yeah it is really bizarre and you bring a good point about how this seem more accepted in mainstream anime. Back in the day these kinds of shows were considered the "weird" shows and people avoided them. So a very strange evolution to say that least.

Difference with Berserk is just that the more questionable aspects are never treated as jokes and I think this is where this show really suffer.

Don't mind that, usually I don't watch these kind of stuff. I was able to watch through everything of AoT now, I will just go through my Plan to watch list now :) If you have recommendations, feel free to tell me as well

Yeah, actually I watch AoT right now (don't ask why I never watched it before, I read the manga back then when it was still new, and I never felt like watching that overhyped anime. But now as we have the final season airing, I felt like getting into the anime and binge through it haha. I never feel like watching mainstream, but sometimes they aren't mainstream without a reason I guess ;)

Ohh yeah, I also want to watch Isekai Shokudou 2, the 1st season was awesome, I looked forward to every episode when it came out! Not sure if you had NHK in your top 10 back then, but I think you did not, I am so happy you also like it ;D

These days I have seen quite some stuff, but mostly just made up watching the popular stuff I’ve missed out on (such as Kimetsu no Yaiba, Jujutsu Kaisen, Tokyo Revengers). Now I will just watch the anime from my plan to watch list. Nagatoro was better than expected, but you’ve already seen it. Nonetheless, I really recommend reading Solo Leveling, it’s really good
