I'll eventually get to Blame. I just have to clear out my manga list. Haibane Renmei is a very slow paced and tender show. Each episode flows nicely to the next and it's almost dreamlike in the way Mushi-shi is. GTO is a fantastic manga/anime, but I get the feeling certain aspects of the show didn't age well and could come off as weird. Otherwise, it's great with a lot of funny moments and good life lessons and what-not. I would recommend you read the manga for GTO and then (if you feel like it) watch the anime.

I want to re-read Blame again because I remember some things about it, but not most of it. So a good chunk of Blame will be new to me again. :) I think you'll definitely love Thousand-Year Blood War since you read the manga. Some much needed changes and extra content made it so much better.

I'm really glad you enjoyed Moribito, Azumanga, and Planetes. I was thinking about Blame for a very long time too. Especially the ending. It had me speechless when I finished the last chapter. Did you watch Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War yet?
