Hello everyone
Videogame addict since I can remember, I also very much enjoy anime and manga in small bursts.
I grew up with Dragon Ball and One Piece, but realized I was truly into japanese works much later: 2012 for manga and in 2016 I started properly watching anime, mostly thanks to the Nasuverse.
Currently not as intensely into anime and manga as I was, albeit my opinion for said mediums is still as positive as before.
My tastes has shifted quite heavily in the last years: I'm still as fond of One Piece and Dragon Ball as I was 20+ years ago (even if I'm not blind to their flaws, especially the latter's), but my passion for the Nasuverse universe has slowly gone downhill. The only exception used to be Fate/Grand Order, but I've long since stopped playing that game and reading its story aswell.
My favorite kind of works are the one with a very clear direction that stays coherent and well tought throughout the whole journey, often giving the best reread/rewatch experience.
About actual genres, I don't have clear favorites. Based on my mood I can enjoy a wholesome slice of life just as much as a drama filled action series or a battle shonen. I do dislike blatant power fantasies and tearjerking shows filled with drama to the brim but nothing of substance to show off.
I also have an Anilist profile (currently my new main account constantly up to date) with more specific ratings (since here middle votes aren't a thing) and some quick opinions on the "tag" options of most entries (outdated).
