I wanted to talk with you about the finale of Tokyo Revengers, I personally like it a lot; it is what I expected, a happy ending for everyone involved in the story.
I think now Nami and Robin, who are the only two female members of the crew, are going to have important roles in the current and final arc. But still, they are going to be sexualized no matter what. Hopefully, that is not going to shadow their contributions to the plot.
I swear to god that the scene in which she stabs herself with nails is amazing; I would not mind wearing a t-shirt of it. She basically turned the tables on a villain who was stronger than her at the time all by herself. Now is Maki´s turn apparently; I have seen several spoilers from the manga, and she is stronger than many characters in the story.
I keep my hopes up since there are several old anime that are getting remakes and manga that are way older and are receiving an anime adaptation. I consider that Ao no Flag can be a masterpiece if it's adapted by a good studio; the chapters are not long and its narrative is easy to follow.
I wholeheartedly agree with that, Yamai is a serious predatory lesbian with zero self-control. I don´t hate her to be honest, but she is not a good representation. Honestly, it is extremely difficult to find characters from the LGBTQ community who are normalized instead of mocked, especially with gay characters who have even less representation than trans and lesbians and are often portrayed as mainly feminine or way too flamboyant. That is why I like Touma from Ao no Flag.
I liked the concept too, it sounded really interesting; a kind of deconstruction. It is weird to hear about plagiarism since some other visible characters are way more evidence of being copied. For instance, several characters from Fairy Tail closely resemble characters from One Piece. Anyways, I think it is sad since that would have been the very first Isekai I would have liked to see getting an adaptation. Especially since most Isekai is mainly Harem.
I wanted to see that story the moment I heard of it, but I couldn´t find it anywhere. I remember lowkey shipping Igarashi and Nishina hahaha.
Nothing especial. The brown-haired main character plays against the senpai I admire and lost. Then he became the ace of his team and then third year, now retired, goes to see the team playing again at the nationals the next year. I found it cute how the parents of the main characters start getting along hahaha.
I don´t reccomend Hoshi no Samidare at all. Save your time and don´t look at it.
I have seen so many spoilers of Hirano to Kagiura that I basically understand everything that´s transpiring in the story hahaha. But, as I said, my favorites are Sasaki and Miyano, I am fond of them ever since I hear and watch the opening. Still, I will gladly watch any and every project from Hirano to Kagiura.
At times I thought the story was falling apart, and even though I love the manga I am not going to lie about it. But that reveal was a perfect comeback, I don´t think anyone expected it. I repeat, my jaw dropped to the floor the whole day. Crap, now I am connecting the dots, aside from Shinichiro killing the vagabond the same way he was killed by Kazutora, Kazutora should have inherited the time leaping ability if it's transmitted by murdering the previous holder. I want to see how is Hanma related to all the things that are happening, and what was his conversation with Kisaki´s tomb about.
Watching Shinichiro falling apart, and breaking the weak and humorous portrayal said by others, was the most shocking aspect, at least for me.
Sometimes it is a little unbearable to see how television is falling each day. Just the other day I was updating my knowledge on the case against Dan Schneider, he acted inappropriately against Alexa Nikolas, Jeannette Mccurdy, and many more. To be honest, Nickelodeon already ran out of ideas.
Hopefully, his and his girlfriend's story will receive an adaptation.
There is a meme about One Piece, being in a border that separates anime from hentai hahaha. Honestly, the thing with Nami is that even though she is one of the weaker crew members in One Piece, she is still one of the most crucial components of the crew; so, it is true that her over-sexualization shadows her true abilities and role in the story. I remember that during a trip to the south I saw on a bus station a small facility selling hentai figurines, I never thought for a second they were so easy to find. And sadly, thanks to that Anime is looked at as one of two: cartoons or porn.
Nobara is amazing. Maki and Nobara are amazing representations of female characters. I agree with what you say, plus I think the author accomplished the notion that women in anime and manga can wear clothes and still be stronger than men.
It would be nice to see a 24-episode adaptation of the Ao no Flag. I think that amount is more than enough to cover the whole manga. It sounds more like a wish than a reality to see an adaptation, but there are old manga that are getting adaptations and remakes; so, maybe it is possible to have hope.
I would love to see more LGBTQ+ representation in anime. Sadly, every time a character comes out as gay or lesbian is immediately labeled as forced inclusion.
I read about Fabiniku somewhere, but I haven´t watched it. With the description you gave me, about making fun of the troops, I remember an Isekai manga that I consider would have been an amazing story; sadly, it was discontinued due to plagiarism. The name was Isekai Tenseisha Koroshi: Cheat Slayer, it was the typical boy who arrives in a different world and has to fight against an evil organization. What I thought was interesting is that some characters resembled several characters from Isekai stories, and that is the reason why it was canceled after one chapter.
I have zero plans of watching Redo of the Healer. I still cannot fathom why it was so popular.
I remember Nanashima and Shinomiya having an extra chapter related to them and that they kissed at some point, did they end up together though or it was a one-time thing?
Believe me, there is nothing interesting left to see in Love all Play. I am the same here, I already made it this far so I don´t want to drop it, especially because there is only one episode left. Another anime I feel obligated to finish because I already watched half of it, is Hoshi no Samidare; which, in my opinion, has a boring story yet it has an amazing opening and ending.
Something I found amusing is that apparently in some countries people are leaving stickers expressing their peak for the win in the current match between Tesla and Beelzebub. I agree with that, there are anime out there with even worst animation, so criticizing nowadays is kind of a waste of time.
I get what you are saying. I also wanted Why-man to be a person pulling strings behind the plot; the petrification devices seemed like magic to me, and the manga turn a weird route with the devices being sentient beings.
I already watched the OVA. I enjoyed it, especially the chibi moments between Sasaki and Mirano, and the interaction between Hiranod and Kagiura. Personally, I like more Sasaki and Miyano since I started the story with them. I thought the upcoming projects were a movie and another anime season and did not expect it to be two movies.
My jaw dropped to the floor the moment it was revealed Shinichiro was the other time leaper. As I was reading the chapter I thought it was going to be Waka, and when Mikey said it was his brother I swear I was breathless. The next chapters regarding Mikey´s accident, vegetative state, and death were sorrowful. Shinichiro's angriness and strength in the latest chapter shocked me completely. It was sad that Emma run away from home after the accident.
Nickelodeon used to be wild, but then it became extremely weird and inappropriate. Right now some shows are funny, a little bit cringe but funny in the end. Yet, it is difficult to watch the channel without remembering all the accusations.
I too have heard crazy stories about him. Even though he was fired from Nickelodeon, his name is still in some credits. It is weird why he hasn´t been in the spotlight more often.
Kakeru is my favorite not-Sohma-related character. He is fun and helped to bring joy and happiness to Yuki´s life. Everyone deserves a Kakeru in their life.
Same here. Yuki is overall one of my favorite characters, I hated to see how much mistreatment he received as a kid and even as a teenager.
I am crossing my fingers for a well-adapted season without leaving anything left or omitted.
I think you are right, I also think that the Shounen Jump has the power to gather several interesting stories, but they are afraid of success hahaha. Jokes aside, I thought Ao no Flag was a manga from the Jump, but I recently saw that it was from a magazine with the same name, but not the main one. It is sad to be honest, in that magazine called Shounen Jump + several interesting names could be adapted into anime aside from Ao no Flag, that fall in the category of indie or LGBT+.
If I am not wrong, the author from Hunter x Hunter is some sort of ally; he enjoys adding characters from the LGBT+ community into his stories. The ones I have seen are not insulting or disrespectful at all.
I am not a fan of Isekai at all, aside from Inuyasha which I was surprised to know was an Isekai. Mainly because all the titles I have seen are adapted or published are Harem.
Redo of the Healer takes the price as one of the most disgusting stories ever adapted. The plot revolves mainly about raping, whereas the main character is raped, or his harem, enemies, or his allies; at some point, everyone is raped or hypnotized to be raped.
Mutsumi was my peak for the win from the very beginning, I never thought he was going to win; so, I was shocked when I saw some spoilers on Facebook. I read somewhere, that Nanashima and Shinomiya were lowkey canon; I don´t know if it's real or not though. To be honest, after reading the final chapter I ended up shipping Igarashi and Nishina, I love their constant bickering and how they ended up working together hahaha.
That is the issue with Love all Play; somehow the lead character realizes in an episode what he needs to do to be better, and then he is struggling not to know what to do with that same problem in the next episode. Now I am just watching to end it, that is all. I already scored it and I don´t think I will change it.
Overhyping kills the mood to watch something. As I mentioned before, it happened to me with the show Game of Thrones; it was an interesting premise, but hearing about it everywhere killed the mood. I think it also happened to me with Hunter x Hunter, although I loved the first anime that aired years ago.
I haven´t watched the anime yet, although I think some designs were changed too much. Yet, I think it has a nice scoring, the ost at the end of the Adam v/s Zeus when Reginleif died was beautiful. I think one reason the anime was hated was because of certain scenes which were static scenes with sounds of fighting, instead of showing the fight animated.
I would recommend you to read the manga, it is seriously amazing. The battle of concepts between Jack and Heracles, and the overall fight between Raiden Tameemon vs Shiva, were amazing.
I was also expecting the Why-man to be a human or something else living in the space, so learning that it was the consciousness of the petrification devices was weird. It would be interesting to learn where they came from, though. But aside from that, I think the author wants to squeeze the story.
If you want to start reading the manga of World Trigger, I think now is a good time. The author takes some monthly breaks from time to time, due to an injury I am not able to recall. So, since it is a monthly manga, it is possible to catch the story. Now is a training arc though.
You know, I am seriously considering starting to read the manga, Blue Lock. I read some chapters and I enjoyed them a while ago, but I forgot in which chapter I was; in conclusion, I unofficially dropped it. But, I think I will start reading it before the anime starts.
If there is a chapter, or at least an omake, of both couples meeting separately on dates, I will read both mangas as soon as possible hahaha. I really want to see Miyano passing out of emotion due to his ship.
I love dense characters sometimes, not going to lie hahaha. Damn, I want an anime adaptation for Hirano and Kagiura right now. I also want more of Hirano in black hair.
I was waiting for the second court to start, but it became amazingly boring and weird as time went by. As I said before, I mostly watch in a sense of obligation just to not leave it unfinished. We are in the same boat hahaha.
I love his hair too. I think that style suits him a lot. Something that surprises me is how it is so easy for these kids to get tattoos while being underaged. I understand there is a huge lack of parental supervision, but still. If I ever get bold as an old man, I would seriously consider Draken´s tattoo as an option, to be honest.
Even though it is well deserved, I am still a bit sad over all the hate Mikey is receiving. The author is fueling that hate as much as he can hahaha.
Nickelodeon was wild back in the '80s. I remember watching nick at night as a kid, and some of the shows such as Growing Pains were utterly dark. I remember an episode in which the father helps a teenage girl whose mother killed herself on her daughter´s birthday.
I watched some pictures of Dan Schneider holding very inappropriately the actress who portrayed Quinn in Zoey 101. Another actress from the same show also complained about her horrible experience with the channel and Dan.
I know very little about the treatment Jeannet McCurdy received, that´s why I kind of want to read her book. I read somewhere that she received money to avoid saying bad things about the channel.
Nickelodeon is pretty problematic, it is not even funny.
I hope there is an OVA for Kakeru and his girlfriend. I think the story deserves to be told; the connection between Thoru and Komaki is interesting, especially because the two of them seem to have the same type of cheerful and warm personalities.
I know this is going to sound bad, but child Kyo yelling at Yuki pissed me off so bad.
I don´t want to have my hopes up. I am going to hope the anime receives a proper amount of episodes.
I think that the beginning of the Workshop battle would be a good season finale; so, if it is going to have a reduced amount of episodes I only wish that they end the story at a good point instead of cutting it into pieces.
I would recommend you to go for it. Starting a long anime or manga indeed requires a lot of effort, but in the end, it became a good decision. I remember starting Gintama and to this day I am happy about it; it was a compelling, amazing, and memorable show. The same happened with One Piece, several times I was about to cry or scream in hype due to how good the manga was. So, you should go for it if you have the time.
That is also another issue with Harem, it is pretty easy to know who is going to win in the end. Except in those cases where all of the girls end up with the main character. Moreover, I am never going to stop saying that some Harems such as The Testament of Sister New Devil and Redo of the Healer are some of the most disgusting stories ever made, and yet they are still popular.
Mutsumi was my pick for the win from the very beginning. Since he was the only one to recognize Kare after losing weight, I said I hope he wins. When it happened, I was dumbfounded yet happy.
That is currently happening to me with the anime Love all Play. I tried to like it, but sometimes the pacing is weird. I am watching it even though I do not like it that much.
I grew up in a religious household and studied for some years in a religious school, so I recognized some concepts and ideas; but, the whole fandom trying to give meaning to everything annoys me. That is a reason why I never watched Game of Thrones even though was interesting; my friends were so obsessed with it that I could not find in myself the willingness to watch it.
I don´t want to read the manga, so I am going to watch and see what the snow fight, the astronauts bisected and what that closed door means. I hope it does not end up like AoT though, the fandom was insufferable during the final season part 1 and part 2.
Brunhilde is truly human, I hope she wins her battle in the near future; I don´t think I´d be able to see her dying. The Jack vs Heracles match was good. I love that concept of the most wicked human vs the most humble god. I would recommend you to read the manga, it can change history a little too much, but it is still a masterpiece. If a draw in black and white can give you the feels, then it is worth the read. What I love the most are the appearances of important figures in history, such as Arthur Conan Doyle, Shakespeare, Confucius, Socrates, and Jesus.
I think the author wants to squeeze more of a story that is already done and beloved. I haven´t read the manga, but I know that the Why-man ended up being all the petrification devices combined. I found it a little bit disappointing, but that image of its face is a masterpiece of horror. It was very well drawn.
Hahaha, I watched Vinland Saga at first for that exact same reason. I just loved the first opening a lot. I think it was Canute, I read that same thing you are saying; he started as a weak character but became diplomatic, and kind of manipulative. Even though I just talking about the spoilers I have seen, Thorfinn truly went back and forth with his design, it's kind of amazing how the travel in which he decided to embark himself changed him that much physically.
World Trigger is one of a kind. It is difficult to balance such a huge amount of characters, but I consider that the author did an amazing job. It is impossible to hate some characters, even if they started as antagonists to the main characters. You learn afterward that, they can all be friends and work for the same agency, but if they signed themselves into a faction, then they have to follow that leader and his ideals no matter what.
It may be true. Then, maybe a story of them learning about their ancestors and what they did from the mouth of Yushiro.
Oh my god, I want to see the two couples together hahaha. I would love to see Miyano´s reaction upon seeing his ship sailing. Does Hirano ask Sasaki for advice in relationships?
It is a dark and gory anime filled with kids bleeding, being tortured, or losing their humanity. Episode 10 has to be the bloodiest one.
I don´t know why actually. I remember Made in Abyss is a trend when it first aired and it was pretty popular.
Love all Play, which I mentioned earlier, it´s having 24 episodes and it is not actually that good. I don´t understand the decision-making process when deciding which anime gets 12 episodes and which has to be axed.
It is sad though because even though he made them suffer, they still loved him. Yuzuha was especially sad; watching her cry was devastating.
I like Kazutora cat eye´s. His shoulder-length hair looks good, but I am not the biggest fan of that mix of Elvis-delinquent hairstyle some characters use. It is funny how much his hairstyle changed him hahaha.
I wonder what would have happened if future Draken told Takemichi about the three deities. Takemichi knew nothing about the topic, and because the Naoto was no longer the trigger he could not go back and forth to investigate.
I hope so too. As you say, I will love the manga regardless of the outcome, but I hope it ends on a happy note. I am going to root for the theory of Takemichi's time-traveling until his childhood to be friends with Mikey.
I like her sometimes, not going to lie. Yet, her television persona can be a little overbearing and double standard.
I never heard that about Isa TKM, I know the show but I never watched it. Nickelodeon really knows how to be weird, especially since Dan Schneider was accused of inappropriate behavior on set. One can connect the dots to get the full picture. I mentioned to another person this, in Game Shakers the protagonists were girls in their 12, and I remember one episode in which one of them put on a bikini to seduce an older boy she liked.
That is exactly the issue with them. Marshall and Lily always think they are a perfect and dreamy coupler when they are actually toxic and condescending toward other couples.
I remember Yuuki saying to Kakeru they were not going to be friends anymore for something Kakeru was doing, and Yuuki became a real tomato for the embarrassment. Plus, that scene in Machi´s apartment where Kakeru gave Yuuki a bra was gold.
It is true, they did show Kakeru disliking Tohru. Because of the Wiki, I know about the relationship between Tohru and Kakeru´s girlfriend, but they did not adapt that part. Hope it is added to the movie about Tohru´s parents. I like that concept, everyone can be a villain in other people´s eyes.
I kind of hate how much of Kyo´s suffering and hate was directed at Yuuki. But he indeed changed his ways thanks to Tohru; he was abrasive and hot-tempered at first, and then became all humble and even quiet.
There is no way they can adapt the whole part 2 into one season. Or it is a long one, or it is divided into small seasons. Hope they don´t change the story.
I love that scene a lot. Khun was the first to realize that Viole was Baam, and it was not like he doubted, he immediately thought of Baam. The anime took some attributions, so I hope they add a hug to the moment where Khun and Baam meet again during the workshop battle.
I have seen so many scenes from the manga of CSM, that I think it is amazing there is not going to be any censorship. Maybe that is a reason why the manga is so loved, while the adaptation is highly anticipated by many.
I haven´t read a chapter or watched an episode from JoJo; mostly I know is what I looked up about it, the rest is by memes. According to my research, in the first JoJo manga there is no mention of the stands; plus, it has the vampire tag on its MAL page.
I feel that, in Harem anime, most girls' personalities are only focused on their love for the main character. That is all. They are written only to be stupid and needy. Like the girls from School Days. I think the only manga Harem I liked was Kiss him, not me; it is a bit controversial due to the main girl losing and gaining weight just by breathing, but the moment she realized her feelings for one of her suitors was beautifully written and executed perfectly.
Hahaha, it´s funny, Rent a Girlfriend is one of those stories I don´t plan to watch, yer I know everything because of how much hate it receives and how many spoilers I see on social media from different people who complain about it.
Oh my god, Chainsaw Man fans are the same as in Evangelion. Don´t get me wrong, I love Evangelion, I just hate all those fans who cannot sleep at night because they are constantly thinking about how many metaphors there are in the story. Hope the fandom does not become like the one from Attack on Titan and Fullmetal Alchemist.
Brunhilde is an amazing character. She looks so refined, polite, and serious, and then she is there gobbling candies up because she is mad, threatening Goll for being annoying, or swearing at someone. I am rooting for her until the end, and hope she doesn´t die. I agree she is extremely charismatic; I would like to see her interacting more with her sisters and the humanity roster.
The thing with a continuation of the manga based on time traveling is that there is not going to be, like, an exact scientific explanation. Most of what Senku makes has a logical and real explanation. But, time travel is still just a concept that has not been proven. Aside from that hahaha, all of the journeys would have been for naught if Senku saves Byakuya and the rest of the world. I would prefer a journey of Senku saving everyone who is still under the effect of the petrification machine.
I don´t remember in which episode I stopped watching Vinland Saga, I think it was when the main character dad´s died in an ambush. But, I agree it was a good show. I saw that there is a character with long hair who started as a villain and then redeemed himself. I would appreciate some development on the matter please hahaha. But I do understand the concept of the gray area, I saw it in World Trigger. It was in a short arc, but several characters started as antagonists to one of the main characters, and then most of them came to be amazing and heroic characters with a lot of potentials. Hahaha, I want to see Muichirou praising Tanjirou during the training arc, and then Obanai threatening him to stay away from Kanronji.
I saw a fanart of the characters' descendants dressed as them; for example, Sumihiko dressed like Tanjiro and Kanata as Kanao. It would be interesting to see them fighting demons in the 21st century.
Hahaha, does Miyano knows that Hirano is in a relationship with Kagiura? That would be fun for the little fundoshi.
It is surprising. At first, it seems like a kid's show for how young the protagonists are, especially because their design´s made them seem way younger. But episode 10 was on a whole new level of darkness. It is something like this, there is a huge and deep abyss people love to explore; here is the thing, there are seven known layers people can descend, but ascending is a whole new story. Each layer has a curse that affects the human body. The deeper the layer is, the most horrible the curse is to the body. Believe me when I say that watching Sasaki to Miyano after Made in Abyss is a good way to heal the heart.
I still have my hopes up for an announcement. Hataraku Maou Sama receive a second season after some years; Parasyte and JoJo ended a long ago and their adaptations are fairly new. Maybe someday there is going to be a season 2 for Hoshiai no Sora.
Taiju started to change after the end of his arc. He loved his siblings but realized it was not in a proper way. Now I think he is making some changes. Hahaha, it would be fun to see Kazutora appears out of nowhere. It is my idea, or Kazutora with long hair looks younger than the one with short?
Mikey´s life is weird. I do feel sad for him because of how many people he has lost. It´s not fair for someone so young to be that broke. His dad dying in an accident and his mom because of an illness is not as bad as losing his brother because of a friend and his sister due to a piece of shit.
I always going to love that scene. Only whished Mikey could have been happy there with the rest of his friends. Because it was clear enough that in that future even Draken gave up on him; Kazutora at first tried to go after him alongside Talemichi, but he also stopped.
She seemed humble, at least in my opinion hahaha. She does not look like the type of person to judge others, in real life of course. But her show persona can be mean-spirited sometimes. I agree that that´s the appeal of judge shows, to portray a cheap telenovela that lasts less than 20 minutes.
In The Thundermans, Cherry is a side character and she is basically the only entertaining one. The rest of the cast is obnoxious, especially the parents and the youngest daughter. Nickelodeon has made so many mistakes throughout the years is not even funny. I did not watch the Thundermans that much, but I did recall the show Game Shake because it truly sexualized minors.
It is true. In How I Met Your Mother, Barney is the funniest character in the show. The thing with Marshall and Lily is that they always think of themselves as an awesome marriage couple, and because of that they tend to look down on their friend's relationships and problems.
It´s funny because they are really similar hahaha. They are untidy and sometimes moody, but I think they complement each other and understand the pain of others better than anyone. I love how he is the exact opposite of Yuki, yet he is his closest friend, and also his confidence. I know, by reading the wiki, that Kakeru´s girlfriend's dad was the man who accidentally killed Thoru´s mom. I cannot understand why that wasn´t adapted, it was an interesting plot.
I have to be honest, I am not the biggest fan of Kyo. I can dislike him a little. I emphasized his horrible and abusive childhood, but I still think he was annoying. It was not until the final season that I came to like him.
If it is going to have 12 to 13 episodes, then I hope it only adapts the beginning of the team sweet and sour with the season finale being Khun's appearance, in his boy-scout outfit. If it is longer, then maybe until the Workshop battle (my personal favorite). I only wish that it is not going to cut too much from the original source.
For some spoilers I have looked up, the first JoJo is Phantom blood, and then the rest of the sequels. It is easy to follow since all of them are numbered. There are some interesting things I have a spot for; first, the manga draws do not look all that flamboyant like in the anime. Second, Phantom blood is apparently the least popular in the franchise.
I cannot believe sometimes how popular Harem anime is. I have read some Harem anime Wiki´s and what I have found is beyond disgusting. It is funny how true is the fact that Rent a Girlfriend is only afloat because of how much hate it receives. I read that the author is a troll who enjoys drawing chapters and scenes that are not canon. One of those was an NTR scene with the main girl, and the other one was the main girl showing her breasts. The former scene was absolutely despised by the incel readers.
Hahaha, neither do I. I read almost ten chapters but I was not into it. I did not drop it, I just forgot what was the last chapter I read. Even so, I did not find it to be such an outstanding masterpiece; I found it funny for some panels I have seen, but that´s all. Overall I know the MC is obsessed with touching boobs, and the female lead is the main villain. Something I think was an interesting plot twist. I am still going to watch it just because of how awesome the animation was.
I think Senku is like Brunhilde from the Shuumatsu no Valkyrie series. They can both be serious, business focuses, and still funny to see. But, when they are all alone is the only time they show their true feelings.
Somehow, Dr. Stone is one of the stories I patiently wait to be animated. Even though I know how it is going to end, I still want to see it first in the anime. Apparently, the author said that Dr. Stone is not over yet, but I only hope there is not any time-traveling continuation. Somehow I think it would make everything the characters have accomplished goes futile. Hope Senku and Kohaku became a thing hahaha.
I said it once and I will say it many more, I love a good redemption arc. I am a sucker for villains turning good and for happy endings. I am not that innocent to buy every attempt at change (Endeavor and Hendrikson from Nanatsu no Taizai), I still love when what used to be villains or annoying mean-spirited characters show some humanity. Sanemi at first was only a twisted evil slayer and then turned into a wholesome fan favorite hahaha.
A theory of mine is that some members of the Demon Slayer corps were against Nezuko joining them because if they had the chance, or at least the idea, of having a loved one turned into a demon in the group, they would take it. Just like Sanemi and Genya with their mom.
Hahaha, my guy friend loves sleeping with me in my bed and walking while holding hands, but that's what close-knitted roommates do, right?
I will do it, I just want to catch up with Made in Abyss. I listened to the second season opening, and I became so obsessed with it that I watch the whole show just to catch it up with the anime. Never could have imagined how dark it was going to be. So, some lighthearted BL OVA is good for the soul afterward.
The fandom at the time was doing everything to continue with Hoshiai no Sora. I remember watching several petitions for a second season; it was a long ago, but I think I remember that even the studio opened a space in a platform to receive opinions from the anime.
Sadly, I think it is true, yet there is still more story to come so I will not give any opinion about the. The good part, Taiju became a ToMan member and had a change of attitude. I love how much Hakkai looks up to him; I remember reading that one of the fondest memories of Hakkai´s childhood was when he broke his leg and Taiju carried him all the way to the hospital. Sorry, I know that is late news but I wanted to say it hahaha.
Now that I think about it, the whole thing is messed up. Dad died in an accident while mom is bedridden at the hospital. Then, a daughter from a mistress appears and starts living with the family. The mom only thinks about her husband and ignores red flags from his youngest son.
I hope it turns out to be true, though. I am enjoying watching Mikey´s childhood to understand his point of view. So far there is no justification for him opening Sanzu´s mouth up. So, I hope that theory is true. I might read the chapters again just to confirm it hahaha.
Mikey´s breakdowns always hit the hardest. I always remember that scene in the future where Mikey finally gives up and ask Takemichi for help. That is a personal favorite chapter for me. Sano Manjirou really needs help, he is not a bad person, he just has carved in his brain that he mustn´t cry in front of others no matter what.
I have seen some clips of those two on YouTube. Jerry Springer is wild and crazy; the Simpsons parody was spot on. That is the thing with la Doctora Polo, she can be amazing sometimes, like the time she physically attacked a pederast who was abusing his niece, but other times she was messed up and victim blamed several people. It may be a shitty show but sometimes it has moments of reflection. I remember this case about a woman suing her neighbor because the neighbor´s autistic daughter dropped the woman´s baby on his head and ended up brain dead. I think it was so conflictive and wrong but still raised some debatable ideas.
One of the things that annoy me the most in TV shows is when they keep good characters out of the screen because they are only supporting characters, and gives prominence to newly added characters who are annoying and obnoxious. I remember this show The Thundermans, the parents were annoying, and when the youngest daughter was born, alongside her they became insufferable.
That is exactly the issue with Ted. The show kept on selling him like a loveable dork, while he was a manipulative and narcissistic horrible person. Barney was the same and it was always called out, unlike Ted. Marshall is another version of Ted, I don´t understand how people consider his relationship with Lily a goal.
It is sad to think of Yuki and Machi sometimes. None of them grew up with a happy and loving family. Especially Machi, I read that in the spin-off her parents keep on avoiding her and her husband and kid. The only good part is that the two of them are close to Ayame´s family and Kakeru´s family.
That is true. On the wiki is written that one of the author´s regrets is giving Ritsu so little screen time.
I swear to god that my jaw dropped to the floor when I saw the second season announcement. I still cannot believe it to be honest. I hope Crunchyroll gives the second season more episodes to develop the story propperly. It is impossible to adapt the beginning to the workshop battle with just one court. On the other hand, I am dying to see Yiwha and Khun Ran, and I am also super excited to see it.
I want to watch the anime from the beginning someday, I will see it on Netflix definitely.
Somehow the art style always looked weird to me, but I cannot deny I am curious about the story. All I know is that there are several mangas that are continuations from one another, they are all connected, and that all the lead characters' names start with the syllable Jo.
I dislike how stupid girls became in Harem anime. It can be way too disgusting. The best example is School Days; the protagonist ends up beheaded and the girl went yandere because of him only thinking with his D. I wholeheartedly agree that Harem and Ecchi are only meant for the Incel community. I have not seen the anime of Rent-a-Girlfriend, but I have read several complaints and articles about how it is horrible and there is zero development. Did the author say that his girlfriend is one of the characters, or one of the characters is his waifu?
MAPPA knows how to animate. I am sure that, alongside Ufotable, they can take whatever manga and turn it into a masterpiece of animation and art style. Even though I am not that hyped about Chainsaw man, I will definitely see it for how awesome it looks on trailers.
It is weird to see Senku´s emotional moments. He is usually the most focused character who is always thinking only about science, so watching him show moments of grief or sadness can be impactful.
The Ryuusui OVA was amazing. I love it from beginning to end. I kind of want to read the manga but I will wait until the next season´s release.
I cannot feel any empathy towards Hiyori, he was way too annoying and mean without a good reason.
Same here. I dislike Sanemi and Iguro a lot. They were all well written in the Infinity Castle arc. I always feel sad for Sanemi after his breakdown due to Genya´s death.
I remember now, I seriously want to watch animated that scene where Nezuko remembers everyone after becoming a human again. She remembers everyone who helped her while being a demon and shower her kindness was beautifully executed.
A panel I saw was Hirano acting shy for holding hands with Kagiura and reminded him of how they used to hug and hold hands before starting to date. As you say, they were already a couple before formalizing it hahaha. I haven´t watched the OVA yet, I will definitely will though.
There is nothing left to do but hope that someday a studio is going to pick the anime and will give it a chance to conclude. It was an anime full of potential and realistic. Hoshiai no Sora was really the definition of shit is going down after the ending sounded. I think that there was some animosity between Maki and Toma in the trailer, mainly because of that scene where the two of them were staring at each other.
I am sad about that too. Because, even though I can understand if it was regarding loyalty towards the first Black Dragons gen, it all seems that they were only choosing the winning team, which is a pity for Senju because it is almost a slap in the face saying you are not useful anymore.
I know! The mom was only there laughing at his kid's stories of beating other kids. I am sad that she had a terminal illness because that is a huge catalyst in several kids' development, but she could have said something to Mikey. If I am not wrong, Mikey´s dad cheated on his mom and there is where Emma came from.
I read a theory that apparently other kids did that to Sanzu´s mouth and Mikey beat them up because of that. It was not Mikey the one who opened up his mouth.
I would be happy with an ending like that, ngl. Takemichi bein with Mikey to support him, instead of growing with zealot Sansu encouraging the dark impulses. I love that, being a crybaby is ok sometimes. I can see that happening. Canceling fictional characters has to be the most ridiculous thing ever.
I think every country has its Caso Cerrado. I think the US one was Judge Judy, and maybe Jerry Springer. The former one was crazy, way crazier than Caso Cerrado. The biggest problem with la Doctora Polo is how she victim shame several people, it was sad. If I am not wrong, most cases, especially the ridiculous ones, were dramatizations. Apparently, some of them were real not acted, but how many were real is up to question. I remember watching a video of someone trying to kidnap her right in the studio. It was horrible and laughable.
It is true. Several characters receive a free pass to act like idiots. I remember George O'Malley from Grey's Anatomy, he was not that nice and innocent. He tried to make a pass on a friend who was having a hard time and almost turned everyone against her because she started to cry right in the middle.
With Ted, I think it was because he was the main character and the producers tried to justify his actions. From time to time he was called out, but it was not as frequent as with Barney. One of the few was when he (Ted) was dating Robin and found out that all of her dogs were gifts from previous boyfriends, and he tried to make her give them away. You are not wrong, Ted and Robin are annoying, but not as much as Marshall and Lily.
I read some chapters of the sequel. Apparently, Yuki´s son loves Ayame very much, he is his favorite uncle hahaha. Somehow I think that, since Yuki did not receive that maternal love from his mother, the bare minimum was enough for him to try to justify her.
I like Kagura a lot. She is one of my favorites in the zodiac. I just love how funny and violent she was in her crush on Kyo hahaha. The only time I was annoyed by her outburst was when she confessed to Kyo saying his name several times. Ritsu did deserve more screentime, he was a lot of fun and his relationships with the rest of the zodiacs were interesting.
I would like to know what happened to him. I know the previous ones were because of some wrist pain, but somehow I think that the current one is because of mental health.
I think there are going to be several new characters. The battles are going to be good as hell, no doubt. But I want to know how all the plots are going to connect; Baam is alongside Cha and Ha Jinsung in the Lo Po Bia Lillial ship, Khun and some others are in the Po Bidau mothership, and Yama, Dowon, and several other high rankers are in Lo Po Bia floor. They are all in different places.
I want to give a chance to JoJo one day. I know it´s a big ongoing franchise, but I want to try it since it seems really original and interesting.
I remember once when I read an article about how the Ecchi theme was disappearing from the Shounen Jump. The number of people complaining was unbelievable. Alongside Harem, I cannot seem to understand why they are so popular. I watched Shinmai Maō no Testament when it first aired because of the opening, it truly has a masterpiece of a song as an intro, but the content was disgusting. A while longer a went to see the Wiki for the anime and I read some of the nastiest things in my life hahaha.
The first and second opening of Jujutsu Kaisen is awesome, the first ending was good too. I think that the Jumpei part at the end of the first opening was genuinely mean-spirited hahaha. In Dr. Stone's first opening I love the chorus, and that part where Koharu is falling from the sky, and then Ginro and Kinro are showing their spears. A few weeks ago I saw the Ryusui special in which they used the first anime opening, and it was lowkey better than the original. I also like Ikuya, I love that part when he hugged Haru after making amends in the third season. However, I truly dislike Hiyori, I couldn´t stand his presence in the anime at all.
I am not ready to see the final arc animated hahaha. I want to see them all fighting, especially with Ufotable animation, but I am not ready to see so many of them dying. I still remember how much I hated each one of the pillars, especially after how many of them were horrible towards Tanjiro and Nezuko during the pillar meeting, aside from Giyuu, Shinobu, and Kanroji hahaha.
That smile Sanemi gave to Nezuko after patting her head is really pleasing. I think it was on the final chapter, but I still remember a panel of Giyuu eating with Sanemi happily, while the former was sternly staring at the latter hahaha. At the very least, the ones who survived were able to be happy.
I would like to see Kanroji and Muichiro alive; although I would rather see them all alive hahaha.
That would be interesting to see, it would be an interesting approach to see a not-so-happy ending. I have seen some panels on Instagram, and they all make it seem that Hirano and Kagiura are dating, though it does seem like they are still pretty cold in that area. I love Sasaki and Miyano so I am going to take some time to read the manga.
I don´t know if that trailer was only that, or if it was the movie. I think it was the movie, to be honest, but it raised too many questions. It is obvious that Tsubasa joined the soft tennis club at another school, but his teammates behave like him at the beginning of the anime. I think Nao is standing against his mother. I want to know what happened to Touma that left hit with that scar on his arm. My only theory is that he stopped Maki before he could kill his dad, but that seems too convenient.
I am still surprised that they weren´t double agents. I don´t know their intentions, at first they were part of Senju´s team against Mikey, but then the two of them joined him. So, it is not a matter of loyalty towards Shinichiro as I thought. Hahaha, I also tolerate that betrayal, I am glad the dog and cat combo is finally reunited.
Sanzu´s first appearance as a Toman member made it seem like he was barely a Newby. And then a flashback showed that he was friends with Mikey and Baji since childhood, so everything was confusing. Hahaha, yeah, now is Mikey vs everyone. I saw some spoilers, next chapter is about Mikey´s childhood, hopefully, we are going to see what made him that way.
I agree with you, I will stand the manga until the end. A possible ending I read that I really liked was one with Takemichi going back into his childhood to meet Mikey from the very beginning to be with him and help him. And, to be honest, I would like to see that happen. Mainly because it seems that every time that Takemichi leaves the past Mikey goes wild. Anyways, I will love the outcome regardless of the ending. For real? Cancel culture sometimes does not make any sense. What is canceling a fictional character going to make?
Thank you! This helps a lot to study and practice my spelling, I am still far from perfect, but I am currently on a good path. Me too, I watched it a lot as a kid. I liked some super serious episodes, but some others are too weird. I remember a case where la doctora Polo victim shamed a girl who was sexually harassed by a neighbor who claimed that he would get horny by eating glass and that's why he harassed her.
Barney is usually called out for his behavior. Ted, on the contrary, is always treated as a dorky loveable character; but he is such a narcissistic person who thinks nobody is good enough for him. Yes, the final two episodes of the show were very controversial because Barney and Robin, who married during the third to last episode, divorced and in the last seconds of the show Ted went to see Robin. It was pretty clear that the two of them were going to start a relationship.
Yuki´s background is heartbreaking. He was rejected and used by so many people. I am still surprised that he wanted to have a relationship with his mother after how clearly it was stated that she was an opportunist who wanted to profit with his youngest for a good position in the family. At least Ayame and Yuki became close in the end. I love all of their interactions, especially when Ayame became all dramatic hahaha.
In the spin-off, none of the zodiacs nor Thoru appear. They are mostly mentioned, and the ones who do appear are blackened only. Some characters from the original manga were present though, like Momiji and Hiro´s younger sisters. But most of the story is about the new girl in town, Sawa, meeting the zodiac kids.
I would like to see a story of how where the relationship between Ayame, Ritsu, and Kagura, while being cursed, with Akito. It was shown that the rest of the zodiacs were abused, scared, or both regarding Akito, but the three previously mentioned were victims of her treatment.
Yeah, I read it a while ago on some pages, the author did not like the first adaptation due to some changes made.
Irregular God is a masterpiece. I like the crescendo too, the combination of voices was really powerful. Wished the ost was used more in the anime.
I am sad the manwha is on a hiatus, but SIU´s health is first, so I hope he gets better. The story was left at a good point, hope more princesses of Zahard are going to appear. After it was stated that Traumerei wanted him a successor to be stronger than the rest of the family heads I think there are going to be representatives from a lot of families.
That is the only thing I want too. My only hope is that at the end of the story Baam is going to be together with Khun and the rest of his friends. That's all. I don´t care if Baam became the king or the god of the tower, I just want him to be happy and Khun to be alive.
So far, I am 600 chapters in. I loved it a lot. It is good, funny and emotional. I don´t remember the last episode I watched of the anime, but the manga is an amazing experience. Recommended without a doubt.
I especially love the design the villains have in Fairy Tail; although every character is absolutely unique, it is impossible to mix characters' names. Each character has, like, a unique face design too. But yeah, Lucy´s main purpose in the story, in my opinion, is that she is fanservice material.
I love the first opening of Jujutsu Kaisen; the first time I heard it I thought it was nothing out of the ordinary, and right after the second time I was looking up the lyrics. Since I did not read the manga before the animation, I watched Dr.Stone spoiler-free. I read the opening was full of spoilers but I really enjoyed it; I don´t know why, but the sentence - Ohayo Sekai Good Morning - is perfect. I loved the prequel movie, I watch it from time to time. Ikuya and Asahi are amaizing.
You made me remember, that another aspect of which I love Kimetsu no Yaiba is because of how most of the characters, regardless if they were main or side, had a proper ending for their stories.
Shinobu´s revenge was finally completed after Douma´s death, and her family reunion, while Kanao was mourning them, was beautiful. The moment Muichirou met his brother in the afterlife at the same time Sanemi was praying for his brother to survive was emotionally charged.
I would have liked to see Obanai and Mitsuri alive; since the two of them had insecurities about themselves, with their bodies, for example, I would have been happy to see them being happy ever after. But, maybe Sanemi instead of Giyuu. Sanemi was awesome in the final arc, but I think he deserved to rest in peace. Plus, that moment when Giyuu reached Tanjiro´s body thinking he was dead was beautiful. I would not change it.
All their deaths were so bittersweet. Most of the Pillars died with a smile or were finally happy in the afterlife.
Dammit, I want to see that. I hope the movie ends with Hirano rejecting Kagiura. I think it would leave everyone at the cinema speechless and shocked; while cursing at the author and the producers hahaha. A second movie with Kagiura trying to win Hirano and to have his feelings reciprocated would be marketable. I might read the manga of Sasaki to Miyano, in which chapter ended?
Tsubasa running away from home was devastating. All the kids in that anime were so broken to be so young. An OVA would be awesome, I want to know what happened to all of them. For the trailer I got that most of them went to different schools, Shingo apparently went to military school and Nao became a bully.
Also, Takeomi was a higher-up in the Bonten future. He had something to do with the plot, or at least I think so. I am surprised at how little loyalty some of the characters have. At first, I liked Waka and Benkei, and after seeing them flee to Kanto Manji I thought it was because they were going to be double agents or something. But apparently, they weren´t. The only thing that comes to my mind in their defense is that they felt that Sanzu was not enough of a leader, or they wanted to be at Mikey's side because of his brother.
I hope he does not die. I don´t think I could have another loveable character dying hahaha.
I cannot forget the face Mikey had after beating Draken´s bullies. I think it was a little bit psychotic, to be honest. But is true that his darkness comes and goes depending on the people who surround him. Plus, it was weird that Sanzu was also a childhood friend to Mikey, but only Baji was a Tokyo Manji founding member.
I am the same. Tokyo Revengers really grew on me, it could have some plot holes but I still love it. It´s like what Jeff Winger from Community said about his college- It could be a toilet but is our toilet. Nobody craps on it but us-. I am going to manifest an utterly perfect ending that is going to shut several haters' mouths.
Don´t worry. I´d rather write in Spanish, but this is good practice since I have an important English test the next month.
Caso Cerrado sometimes was good and touch on some interesting topics. But I am not going to defend some unbelievable stories in which the victim was shamed after standing up. Several situations were too insane to be real, to be honest. The - Estupida, mi pelo idiota - was a trend in Chile for several months hahaha.
He was that and even worse. He was such a good manipulator; it was impossible for him to feel remorse or apologize, but the show still sold him as a goofy dork trying to find love. Lily is the queen of manipulation; even though she was labeled as part of the main cast, she always felt like a side character. I liked Barney´s serious moments, he experienced some sad moments throughout the show, but he had zero respect for women. Neil Patrick Harris is an amazing actor, he is indeed talented.
To be honest, all of Fruits Basket couples were endgame. Hanajima as Kyo´s master wife would have been hilarious. I love how much Ayame wanted to shorten the bridge between Yuki and him; that flashback of him rejecting Yuki´s hand as a kid was sad. Overall, Yuki had the same amount of reasons to hate the zodiacs as Kyo. Yuki also experienced loneliness and rejection from others. There is a sequel in which it was explained that Momiji´s sister learned about them being siblings and became pretty closed, only wish they explained how the relationship with his mother was.
The first anime adaptation cut several moments and characters, and also change some characters´ dynamics while adding original episodes too. The fruits Basket author deeply hated it and apparently forbid another adaptation at first. But it was a good adaptation, the soundtrack was beautiful.
I wanted to comment on this a lot before; I have been hearing the ost Irregular God a lot lately. I did not like it that much at first, but one day I decided to hear it again and it was perfect for a story like Tower of God.
Endorsi was fuming hahaha. Anak tried to calm her since there was a test to reach another floor, but Endorsi left their airship anyways hahaha. Hopefully, Khun will hear about the competition and Gustang will take him there. However, I have the thought that maybe Khun and Rak are going to train with Poe Bidau Gustan to get stronger, alongside the rest of the people with them.
I wonder what is going to happen with Baam at the end of the story. Will he become a new king, a god, everything, or will he die. I think every alternative is veritable.
Something I enjoyed about Fairy Tail is how every main character, and even side characters, receives moments to shine. That aspect is pretty well balanced. My only complaint is how the female lead, Lucy, is basically the embodiment of fanservice.
I read the Wiki a while ago, and in the manga, all the servamps have a master. Sometimes it is funny how the openings and the post-episode scenes can be so different. Death Parade opening would never spoil the anime content. However, I remember that sometimes in Jujutsu Kaisen the post-scenes killed the mood hahaha. Free´s characters were really chill, to be honest, there were camp training arcs, but still were not as serious as the opening makes you think.
Still is weird. I would understand it more if his wife was killed by a demon, for instance, if he was not at home. Yet, I think that since he was depicted as being a loveable father to his kids and a reliable member of the demon slayer corps, it is understandable that he loved his wife so much, that her death emotionally destroyed his former self.
Shinobu´s death took me by surprise. But it wasn´t until Muichiro´s death that I realized that one was safe from death in the manga. Still, her death was so meaningful, that if it wasn´t for her sacrifice then Inosuke and Kanao would have died. That afterlife scene in which she, alongside Kanae, met their parents while Kanae broke down in tears emotionally destroyed me. I was sad after Mitsuri love confession towards Obanai; yet, I still wished she at the very least died while doing something, like protecting other injured slayers. But I think she only had her pivotal moments in the swordsmith village, and it was time for others to shine in the final arc.
So, Hirano at first rejected Kagiura´s confession? That would be an awesome cliffhanger for a movie. I would definitely be shocked if that happens. I want to ask, Did you read Sasaki to Miyano before the anime? Was it a fateful adaptation or skipped chapter?
I liked Tsubasa, at first I thought he was going to be mainly a macho-like character, but he turned out to be rather funny and also a victim of verbal abuse at home. Maki and Touma did not deserve that kind of ending. I would like to know what happened to Maki´s mom and why Touma´s mom hates him that much.
After the chapter, while I still think that Hanma has something to do with the plot, I still think that maybe Takeomi is the other leaper and that´s why he knows so much about the topic; and also why he immediately jumped to the conclusion that Takemichi was one.
I don´t think Chifuyu is going to die. I think Hanma is going to defeat him, but I don´t think he has a death flag. Hopefully.
So far, I don´t know how to categorize that twisted loyalty he has towards Mikey. I also want more background about him, so far it was stated that he was always reprimanded if something happened to Sanzu. But, I don´t think that was enough for him to become a zealot for Mikey and his destined path into darkness.
I think the reviews were great until Draken and South's death. Afterward, I don´t understand why people started to hate the story. Personally, I am still enjoying it.
For real? I am from Chile, estudio una licenciatura en inglés y practico aquí mi escritura. I am more surprised that there are adults who think that everything that happened in La rosa de Guadalupe is true. There are so many messed-up episodes that it is hard to enumerate them all. Most messages are horrible, like, you have to forgive no matter what the people who bully you / rape you / killed an important person/abuse you.
Where to start with how I met your mother. I will try to summarise everything.
-Ted (Main character): Narcissistic and elitist. He thinks he is the most flawless person ever, does not understand limits, never apologizes, and is transphobic.
-Marshall (Lily´s husband): Raised in an environment where women served men, does not replicate everything but from time to time displays some questionable actions. For example, he broke up with Lily, and after a while of being away, he was still obsessed with her and punched a guy who taught was Lily´s new boyfriend.
-Lily (Marshall´s wife): Manipulative towards her friends and judgemental towards others. Orchestrated several of Ted´s breakups with different girls. The best example of a toxic friend.
-Robin: Manipulative and unable to commit to relationships.
-Barney: Secretly records videos and takes pictures of every girl he sleeps with.
It can be fun, but it is impossible to not notice how toxic the show and the main group are.
To be honest, I liked that Ritsu ended up in a relationship with Shigure´s editor. I would like to see that kind of interaction. I wished there were more moments between Yuki and Ayame, I loved their interactions; my favorite was the parent-teachers meeting. Momiji did not deserve everything that happened to him; although I can understand her mother´s reaction after giving birth to him (newborn rabbits are basically rats), and that his father tried to solve everything by himself, I still cannot feel empathy towards the mother.
I know many people dislike the first version anime adaptation, but I seriously liked it. It was the first old anime I watched from beginning to end; and, I loved that scene in which Thoru went to the cemetery and her friends found them there. I think that scene was amazing and compelling. I know this is going to be an unpopular opinion, but that made her character more real.
I hope it´s not something amazingly well drawn that looks almost perfect. It would be more real if he looks like Kokushibo´s second head after being beheaded.
Endorsi learned about Baam´s competition and was fuming hahaha. Lowkey hopes Khun appears in the competition to fight too hahaha.
I second that, aliveness for Baam and Khun overall, followed closely by the rest of the OG´s. I feel a little bit sad for Rachel in one of the newest chapters; Yura has several fans in the Po Bidau family and Rachel is kind of her receptionist.
In the last chapter, it was stated that the dragon Baam absorbed had Traumerei´s memories in it. So, Baam knows things about him.
I may start reading from the beginning to have the full experience. I also loved Death Parade opening! I enjoyed how cheerful it was with the character dancing like they were good friends, and then I died a little bit with the episodes. I enjoyed the first opening of Free; the seriousness of each character, especially that scene after the chorus with everyone swimming in their specialty, was powerful.
Still, somehow throughout both, manga and anime, some characters were saved by Rengoku´s dad. Iguro and one of his cousins were saved from the serpent demon, and the granny from the first episode of infinity train was also saved by him. Moreover, somehow the death of his wife affected his views toward demon slayers.
She was powerful, and since she was able to activate the demon mark then she has even more strength than what was shown. It was unfair that she was forgotten during the last battle only to appear again while dying. While her past was one of the most normal ones, I still felt sad for her; that glasses guy rejecting her had a lot of audacity hahaha.
Zuko for real got the best redemption arc in the whole history of TV animation. It´s amazing how hateable he was during the beginning, and change of hairstyle later he became one of the most loveable characters in the show. Hahaha, the final movie of Annabelle was not that scary, to be honest, and the final was wholesome and compelling. It was more like a drama rather than a horror movie.
I wished some of the demons whore regretted their decision and were able to live a second time; especially the ones who suffered the most, but throughout the story, it was specified that they went directly to hell.
I want to see their movie!!! I know there is going to be mainly about Kagiura fanboying over Hirano and getting all nervous over little things, but after seeing how nice Hirano was to Kagiura in the anime I think is going to be cute as hell. I want to see more of the Hanzawa family, I would read a spin-off based on the whole family interaction.
I went once to drink with some classmates at a bar, and I started recommending it after being a little drunk. It was a few days after the ending and I was still processing everything I saw. As said in some comments before, Touma´s conversation with his mother broke my heart, and Maki´s knife scene haunted me the most. Nevertheless, I had high expectations after the announcement of the fan special movie, I thought it was going to be longer but it was mostly a trailer. Anyways, I still hope to see a sequel that can wrap up the story someday. Hopefully, the creator can find a studio.
Thanks for the link, I´ll check them all.
If it turns out to be just bratty actions then is going to be a huge disappointment. Have you seen the new chapter? I am sad for Sanzu´s background but he is too messed up, his obsession with Mikey is beyond annoying. He is a complete Mikey zealot. That stabbing thing was a bitch move, without his sword he is defenseless.
Now it is a Mikey and Hanma V/S Takemichi and Chifuyu, the bomb is on the way.
The tenjiku arc is not difficult to understand, and what it is necessary to know is mainly about Shinichiro; that´s all. Plus, the Tenjiku arc is not that long. The only problem I think anime movies has is that sometimes scenes do not feel that fluid.
For real? I also live in Latin America hahaha. La Rosa de Guadalupe it´s truly horrible and messed up most of the time, but from time to time it can be funny. I have only seen two episodes that were not laughable, and that was all. That is not even funny at all, how do you even forgive that? I forgive you for trying to burn me down, I know it was not what you really wanted to do.
An episode that shocked me was this girl who befriend a gang, and later it was revealed that the father of the girl raped the leader of the gang; in the end, everyone forgave each other. I also tend to question several moments in shows I watched; like How I met your mother, for instance, Ted Mosby has to be the most toxic lead character ever.
I loved most of the zodiacs. Despite that weird relationship they had with Akito, I liked how everyone was unique in their own style. I wish Ritsu appeared more and Kagura´s ending was developed a little more. I understand where Kyo´s come from, he had a very traumatic past and did not deserve that much loathe from the clan. But I was never able to like him wholeheartedly.
Every character, regardless of their power, looks normal next to Shigaraki. I wonder if he is going to have a final form, or if he is going to keep mutating to a formless thing.
In the last chapter, somehow, Endorsi and Anak look so similar. They even have the same hairstyle now hahaha. I loved Khun´s expression when that guy from the Po Bidau family was complimenting him. Hope SIU recovers from what is bothering him.
I want to see them reunite regardless of the outcome, but I don´t think it's going to be that easy. I just want to see the originals climbing the tower together, that´s all hahaha. And for Rachel to reach the stars and take away Yura.
Baam reached an agreement with Traumerei for his liberty. I guess he is going to join the fight.
I also want to read it now. I remember that, aside from the anime cutting some stories, there were also some of the servamps who did not appear in the anime. And because of that, I want to see more of the interactions between master and servamp. Something I always remember is how dark the opening song was, while the ending was cheerful and all the characters were dancing happily.
I would have liked to see why he hit rock bottom so hard. In flashbacks when his kids were almost babies he was happy to train them and was also an excellent demon slayer; I think his wife's death emotionally destroyed him and was never able to recover.
I wished Kanroji fought more during the final arc; I hated how easily she was defeated in contrast with the rest of the pillars. Rui´s design was unique, he was so different from the other lower moons.
I think that Tanjirou could have even shown empathy towards Muzan even; in the anime when he painlessly defeated the mother spider demon was heartwarming. It is impossible not to love Tanjirou and his message of forgiveness. Hahaha, I´ve always been a sucker for redeeming villains and happy endings. I just saw Annabelle 3 on the TV and I love that happy ending hahaha. Some of my favorite villain-to-hero are Hiei, Gara, and Nico Robin.
Kokushibo's realization hit me the hardest, to be honest. He wholeheartedly regretted his decision of turning into a demon, the moment when he remembered that his brother kept the flute his whole life was heartbreaking. I think he was one of the most human demons in the story, mainly because of his jealousy and envy. Akaza´s death with all his loved ones appearing in front of him was beautifully executed.
I have seen several panels from Sasaki to Miyano and Hirano to Kagiura on Instagram and I already love the two couples. I like how innocent Kagiura is towards Hirano; I saw that Hirano accepted that he has feelings for Kagiura and that even before going out they were already basically a couple hahaha. I would like to see the families' reactions of everyone there, mainly because of Hanzawa; I loved how open his mother was to the idea of having gay kids, and I deeply love it.
I know, that final episode was amazingly dark. At the time I was obsessed with Hoshiai no Sora and I deeply loved the entire cast. Learning it was cut was horrible. So many stories remained unfinished. I think the studio made a stupid decision for cutting it back; I think it would have been a masterpiece if it was finished properly. The creator deserved better.
I was so happy for Kuze in the ending, no doubt she had a happy ending and still cared for Taichi. Although I have mixed feelings about Masumi; she dated men but had also feelings for Kuze, and in the end, she married a man who lowkey resembled her friend. I think the biggest winner was Touma hahaha, he was able to have a happy ending with the man he loved. It was most explicit that Touma repressed his feelings during childhood, there was a scene of him telling Taichi to stop holding hands, and Taichi was sad because of that which was a possible hint. The girls in that conversation were mature.
I just some clips from Chibi Revengers, where did you watch them?
Maybe the story will go deeper into Mikey´s childhood. It was shown that he lives with his grandfather who owns a dojo and taught him martial arts, and that apparently he lives in a comfortable big house, not that it is important though. Maybe he had a complex relationship with his parents that is utterly messed up, but so far, the Sanzu thing is unjustified.
I think Hanma is involved in the plot somehow. He is one of the strongest fighters in the plot and in most timelines he looked like having a comfortable future; the only one where he was not present was in the Bonten one. I want to know what Kisaki wanted to say before getting what he deserved and the conversation Hanma had with Kisaki´s stone.
Several anime are getting movies instead of new seasons´, maybe the Tenjiku arc is going to be adapted into a movie.
In Mexico, there is a show called La Rosa de Guadalupe, that has to be the most horrible representation of human society. There are so many horrible examples of depression, mental health, addictions, and many more that make you laugh instead of feeling empathy towards the stories the show wants to show. There are several instances in which the victims forgive the abuser like nothing; I recall an episode of a little girl who was pushed the stairs by her brother because she didn´t want to cook for him. In the end, she forgave him because he was her brother. Horrible.
In the end, forgiveness is a gift; and Rin was right in not wanting to forgive Akito. Haru was the most perfect example of a comforting character. To be honest, I still think that it is a little bit weird how many of the zodiacs entered into relationships with one another; mainly because they were still cousins or related at least. But anyway, I don´t judge, apparently is pretty common in Japan.
His design has always been amazing. I think he is the one who looks more like a villain among the villains. And, right now, I think the only way Deku is going to save him is by using the power of friendship and good intentions.
Me too. They are a combo, they cannot be separated, it's like having a hamburger without french fries. I love their reunions because they are always wholesome, but because of the revelations Baam faced thanks to white, this one probably is going to be weird. Hahaha, I agree with you, Baam and his group can reunite to climb altogether, Rachel can reach the stars already, IDC. But honestly, shit is always going down when she arrives, so I am waiting for her next move.
I want to see how SIU is going to end this arc; I don´t see a single way Baam can escape from Traumerei without a bloody fight. And I also want to see who is going to fight to be Baam´s bride.
