Yeah, that would be pretty amazing. Unfortunately I don't think that very many studios could make mecha shows as weird and awesome as those two. If someone ever does though, I'll be one of the first to pick it up.

Watched RahXephon, or rather I realized that I had already seen it when it was shown on G4, I only had to watch a couple of episodes to finish it all up. Good stuff, but I didn't think it was nearly as good as NGE ... then again, I was exposed to NGE first so I may have a little bias there. Anyway, thanks for the recommendation it was quite an amazing series.

Yeah, I had heard about Angel Links and how it took place in the same universe so I was going to watch it. Then one of my friends told me that it was a bad call so I just decided against it.

As for RahXephon, I saw the movie but I hadn't seen the series so it didn't really do too much for me. (Apparently it's just a super-condensced version) But I'll look into the series pretty soon because a lot of people have told me that I'd really like it.

If you like weird mech shows like EVA and RahXephon, you should check out Giant Robo: The Day the Earth Stood Still. It looks cheesy at first but it actually has a very deep plot that makes you think and a lot of twists along the way.

Noein I've been wanting to see for a while now but I forgot to put it on my list as 'plan to watch.' Thanks for reminding me about it.

As for Shingetsutan Tsukihime, I haven't really heard too much about it. I looked it up and it looks pretty good so I may watch that after I see a couple other things on my list.

Yeah, it was originally planned, that's why at the end of the series it says something like "see you next time." It's just that the company was somewhat low on money at the time and the director was feeling a bit too lazy to finish it. So they never did.

And according to an interview with the director they probably never will.
