Holidays are coming closer you say... and I just recently got a job. Damn, I miss being able to say the same, haha. Glad to see you heard about Grand Blue, after all, it ain't popular for no reason, especially the manga. As for the others, just something I personally picked and recommend to people who I kind of get what they're interested in, they're not exactly the most popular. Did not expect you to pick up Wonder Egg though, but I'm glad you did. Unfortunately, the series isn't yet complete, weird production choice, I know, so we'll still have to wait for the ending to come out in 2 weeks. Still, it was as exciting as it was disturbing to some extent, lol. Very original take indeed and really enjoyed it, although, because it falls into the 'magical girl' category, I'd say it's got a lot of similarities to Madoka Magica, this one being more of a traditional magical girl type of show that will pretty much mess with your mind on a lot of levels. Now I only watched Madoka recently but I'd say both are masterpieces on their own and absolutely worth watching. I also noticed you watched Sk8, and I'm guessing you really enjoyed it, huh? Very stylish show with solid animation, although to me some of the characters and the whole family drama & politics behind the scenes bothered me, as well as the fact that there were no female skaters, which was very strange for a skateboarding anime, then I learned the staff who worked on Banana Fish worked on this too and then everything suddenly made sense, lol.

Hey, no problem! Not like I'm the most active individual around so I understand where you're coming from. So no need to worry about when to reply, just do it when you feel like it and have the spare time, at least that's how I do it here on MAL. I'm glad I could help, then again, those 2 fall more under the category of 'popular and safe choices', that family and friends who aren't really anime watchers could enjoy as well. For you alone though, I would recommend watching fun shows like Grand Blue, Bakuman and Yona of the Dawn, shows with a fairly large number of male characters seeing as you're interested more in those, which is only natural for a girl I guess, haha. These 3 are some of my all-time favorites because the characters are very fun to watch and the stories are easy to follow, they are light on the drama and the comedy is very solid and unique to each of them, would love to see what you might think of these if you ever get the chance to watch them. As for Your Lie in April I see it kind of sounds like a mixed bag, haha. I will let it sit in my PTW list a little while longer then, thanks!

Yeah, I know exactly what you're saying, I felt the same, haha. And if you're saying you watched Koe no Katachi together and enjoyed it... in that case I'd recommend you also watch the "Your Name" and "Weathering With You" movies. Both fall under the same "teen drama" category and both are from the same studio, only there's a bit of supernatural in them so I hope that isn't a deal breaker. As for Your Lie in April, I haven't seen that one yet, but from what I heard... isn't it a little bit too overdramatic? That's the general impression I got, so seeing as you've watched it, feel free to bonk me if I'm wrong, lol.

I used to watch anime during lunchtime while I was working in America 2 years ago, so I'm with you on that kind of schedule, lol. By comparison, however, my anime watching habits are all over the place, so putting it aside for the weekends and holidays is definitely the way to go. Good thinking. For Violet Evergarden I can't believe you did the same thing. What a coincidence, I too showed it to my mom and she loved it, not too long ago even, and also Koe no Katachi who she thought it was decent. And AoT yes, there was a huge lore dump and a lot of politics in the final season and even with the studio change, I still think it was a great watch, however I believe Wit would've handled the animation a lot better. Can't really fault MAPPA on that though, lately they've been THE face of anime animating everything left and right, so it was no surprise to see 3D titans duking it out all of a sudden, haha. And no worries on the language part, I honestly think your English is really good. Besides, we're 'neighbors' anyway (sort of), so yeah.

It was the same for me at first, I decided to use the account not just to keep track of what I watch but to also join the community in forum discussions, but lately I've been less active in that area and there was also a 2 month break I took from checking things here, although ever since I got into anime I don't think I ever stopped watching anything for more than 2-3 weeks and that's how my list got so bulky so fast. That and the fact that my college was going too easy on me so what else could I have done with my free time, haha. But yeah, if by chance you're gonna take interest in a show that I've already seen and are curious if it's worth it or not I'll gladly give you a short rundown anytime. Right now I'm curious what you thought of Violet Evergarden and Attack on Titan's final season. I see you are a big fan of both, as am I.
