Yeah that'd be my recommendation, get some of those sweet chips, also look to get weapon upgrades whenever convenient.

Nah, I don't recall killing generic non-aggressive robots having any impact on the story, although there's definitely some storytelling through gameplay. It's been a sexy minute since I played it, but largely I felt levels were fairly meaningless because enemies scaled to your level at certain junctures anyway. What difficulty are you playing on?

I've actually heard Genshin Impact is pretty generous as far as gacha is concerned, although I have deep reservations about gacha on principle because of the fucking whales. You playing the original Nier or Nier Automata? The rest of those are deep in the recesses of my wishlist.
