all scalar rating scales r reductive & dumb anyways so f fewer scores = less stupid ( even if more reductive ). also just more practical. ultimately my ratings serve more of a categorizing than quantifying function; anything i would relisten to ( other than for reevaluative purposes ) or recommend to someone if they asked for an anime within a niche it fills ( i.e. genre ) gets a 5
