I often get the question of why my scale isn’t a legitimate scale (I.e. MAL) where 5 is average. To answer that, I’ll compare it to a pizza.

A mediocre or average pizza is still edible despite how unfulfilling the experience is. As such, mangas or stories are in a similar situation where a “5” manga is readable but nothing good. Anything below that, I’m speaking of the story’s entirety. If a 4 means bad, then I mean bad in its entirety — there is nothing good about it.

Anyway, just like a pizza, if you’re offered a “5” slice, you’d still eat it. Hope this helps.

I don’t read gay stuff, even Yuri, nor do I like female leads and shojo manga. In other words, I’m not feminine…mostly. I read too much romance to claim that.

Since MAL doesn’t have manhuas in their database, just know that 99.5216% of them are trash. The only amazing one in my years of searching is “What Do You Do If the Heroine Escapes From Your Novel” (9.3). Carry on.
