Kinda same condition here. Been like 3 or 4 days since i am back on this site. Opened this site instinctively but wasnt active, didnt check anything, neither read or watched anime during that time so no need of checking. also didnt see your comment looks like i blindly checked it in the notifications. just saw it today.

A particular genre has a particular flow, setting, theme which I might dislike. Its like how we humans reject clothing in our least favorite color regardless of its quality. I might like some if i dont be picky and just watch it. Its always been like this with me, I have never really even started shows of the genre I hate, who knows I might have liked it. But I ignore it without even watching. So I dont know my true opinions about it. I read Berserk as well, Its like the most "fantasy" manga out there with all that European Philosophy. That was long ago too, I even had the energy to try something I hated, these days i cant even watch something i like so why bother trying something I feel like I wont like it.

You literally summed up why I hate 12 y/o MCs show in one sentence. I dont want to see 12 years olds on adventures. Not tryna be a seinen elitist but it makes way more sense for an adult character to be part of a horror adventure. Kid characters would have boundaries or perhaps should have boundaries forcefully trying to break it doesnt sit right with me. Anything can happen in a fictious world, all of us might not like that "anything". I dont hate the other MC tho the small robot guy? I like other features of this show as well. MC is annoying to me so I decided to not continue watching it. I watched half of the 3rd season and dropped it. Same was the case with chihayafuru, the mc girl was annoying but I watched all of it, like I said ealrier had that energy back then.

watched hxh way back in 2019 ig, i was small as well maybe I didnt hated 12 yo back then. wasnt much of an age difference. But looking back to it there clearly were more adult characters. compared to made in abyss it is a long show but the screentime of the two MCs in made in abyss is much longer then gon & killua. Most of the time its just those two MCs in made in abyss. In hxh leoreo is always there with the kids, hisoka keep popping up randomly. The first arc is full of adults. You get to see how kids do in the middle of adults unlike made in abyss where those kids are mostly alone.

I myself keep on being around 900-1250 everytime. It was like around a year ago I reached 900 elo but yeah I still keep falling back to 900, I personally cant seem to cross 1300. Also people around me havent been able to cross this limit. Most of the people I know are under 1200. Even if I am able to cross 1500 I dont think I would be motivated to do more.

Just finished watching all of haikyuu's seasons. Would you mind writing about your opinion on why you like this anime, and also discussing Oikawa and Hinata? If you have anything extra to add about this show, that would be great as well.

For me the most boring genres are Fantasy, 12 y/o MC and futuristic sci-fi. If I see shows labeled as either of these three I dont even bother checking. But I still watched Hxh and made in abyss. But didnt hated HxH as much as made in abyss. What I mean is even if its my most hated genre, with some good elements I can ignore the part that I hate. HxH focused more on other (adult) characters too, compared to made in abyss.

yeah this line was on anime too, but I think they modified it little bit. Dont remember it excatly tho. Its good. Not much parody like I expected. Ive only seen it on first few episodes. Its rare but still fun to watch.

Building fake interest in real life is harder than it is on internet. You would have enough time to do research on internet to keep the convo on. In real life you cant just spit about the thing you dont know. So yeah just saying "No, I dont know" in real life is quite easy for me, actually these days.

It took me almost 2 months to finish BB. Its about to become a year now. Started at december 2022 and finished it at the end of January 2023. 95% of it might be a 10/10 or interesting but 5% is still boring, at the end, the last season where every thing slowly wraps up and is less chaotic compared to the previous seasons.

There is this anime called "Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo". Now it is a harem ofc if it talks about 100 kanojos.
But the thing is I like it because it is a parody too. Like the characters blame directors, author and voice actors and talk about behind the scene things. Which I really love. If its a mixture of something I love and something I hate I can ignore the part that I hate. But the part that I love should satisfy me too.

I have always been indirectly and negatively influenced by others. Things like "If I dont do what they do I cant be friends with them". yeah but if an anime takes 200 eps to get better its worth the experience to witness 200 episodes of shit too, which is a rare case ofcourse, these days. I have watched 100 episodes of garbage peacefully and couldn't even get past 7 episodes of ergo proxy. Can depend on the type of anime too. If its gloomy sci-fi like ergo proxy I wouldnt be able to go past 2,3 episodes. If its "flying car on edo period where animation is incomplete sometimes and the opening song starts at the end" anime ofc I would watch 300 episodes of it.

I used to legit enjoy lok dohori I still do, BUt due to second phase I had to stop listening to it for sometime, which is dumb ofc. Been long Ive been out of the second phase and I listen to whatever I want. This 3 phases might make sense for other situations too.

If you want to understand the plot aspect of the film, definitely read the novel. Kubrick is much more interested in how his film looks than "does the story make sense? Will the audience understand the ending?"

Never has this sentence more resonated with me than when I watched Summertime Render. It's a good fantasy show, but the first two episodes were incredible where it was still possible that humans could've committed the crime. My enjoyment went from a 9 to a 6 after some supernatural elements were revealed. Still, quite a bingeable show

Another horror movie I love is "The Others". Give it a watch if you feel like it

MAPPA guys massively underestimated the number of episodes it'd take to adapt the manga, it feels like. But, at least it got an ending, and I've heard they changed the anime ending. People were saying the ending changed saved AoT. I've never been a fan of the series, so I wouldn't have cared anyway, but I do want to see the differences

Like I said back then, I dont get obsessed over things normally, even if it's something I love. I might never lose interest in something I love but I still wouldnt be obsessed with it. I am a very emotionally unstable guy tho. If I let my emotions take me over and I buy and throw it after few months I wouldnt regret buying it rather I would regret letting myself take over by the emotions. But if its like my fav hoodie or jacket, clothing overall, I regret not being able to wear it.

There used to be about atleast 20 people involved in fight and even if they had come back to fight again their first target wouldnt have been me. If I dont understand lyrics I wouldnt care about it at all. I would only enjoy what I can. And if I love what I enjoyed I go back to understand what I didnt. If I listen to a new english song and dont understand the lyrics and enjoyed only what was understandable but didnt like it, I wouldnt bother to check the lyrics. I only ignore it for sometime, cuz aint nothing I can do about it. Just enjoy what I can and check the lyrics video later on or not check at all, depending on the circumstances.

If we talking about that particular guy, everyone already must know what kind of questions he asks. Also he targets easy people only. Havent seen much people uncomfortable in his interview, there might be some disturbances in their delivery of speech cuz not every they get to talk about sex. But to people that dont know him and what kind of questions he asks, can be challenging to just leave after agreeing. But if its me I would ask first what kind of questions are gonna be asked, and reject the offer if its something I cant talk about.

For me it makes sense, because you seem to stick to the show till the end even if you dislike it. But if I dislike the first episode I just drop it. I can atleast go for 3 or 4 episodes to see the progession, which makes sense for some short animes. If I am like spoiled before hand, like this gets better after 200 episodes I would tolerate 200 episodes of nightmare, But if I hated it even after 200 eps that would fucking suck tho. If I know nothing about the show and absolutely hate the first episode I am never turning back again. I think its like how there are some genres that you would never watch even if its popular and good. The Eminence in Shadow was very popular and everyone forced me to watch it but I just dont like Fantasy, Action. If a fantasy genre has some other genres mixed like SOL, CGDCT, I would watch it tho. I think its the same, like how you dont like some certain kind of starting and you immediately drop it, which ofcourse isnt enough to justify why the particular show bad. If we not going to the depth, this might work as well.

When I said Listening to only Nepali songs I was talking about the age where you dont know anything about the coolness of listening to English songs. I did listen to english song as well after reaching that age. But yeah only Nepali and Hindi song has been with me all my childhood. My father was a "nerd" when it came to old hindi songs and I knew and still know whole lotta hindi songs from 60' to 2000s'. Paila loadshedding ko bela ma ta batti jane bittikai tyaktuke mobile ma geet bajhna thalihaltheo. Time passed slowly met new people, and knew about things I didnt know. Listened to justin bieber, tyga, wiz khalifa, eminem. Ngl but no one was as cool as the mf that listened to eminem back then, so ofc I did too. After eminem was in everyone's mouth and playlist, started searching other rappers to be cool and unique, like "ajhai eminem sunxas, yo sun bhai yo kada xa."

After they finished their game they used to let me play GTA V and san andreas. So I would say, Incase of gta im like any other people. I grew up with it as well. Other big and popular games, COC and CR only. Did try to play some visual novels, the pacing wasnt to my liking. I like short and competitive games like COC and CR. Tho these days Ive no interest in any at all.

Its great. Better than 98% netflix animes. I expected it to be a movie and was disappointed but came out to be different than what I had expected with 8 episodes one hour each. Monster had a gloomy vibe, The execution in pluto is much livelier. Few things here and there but dont think you would hate it. You can watch it.

I have watched Fight Club. Pulp Fiction is in my watch llist as well. Somebody suggested me The Shining, might watch that as well. Might watch Interstellar after I get time and The Lighthouse. A friend's been forcing me to watch The Lighthouse. The popular ones I watched are, Taxi Driver, Shawshank Redemption, American Psycho, Inception, etc.

yeah, it's fantastic. If you go through those scenes, not the flashback ones but the actual scenes, you can see Tyler appear in the background for split seconds

the posters were very real indeed, it was a long time coming, but better late than never I guess. It was great, but I do prefer the manga. It's an extremely faithful adaptation, but a few things were amiss. Some of the dialog was changed, not cut, but changed, while not a huge deal, it did feel kinda not warranted.

My main were the animation and music. The animation looks fantastic. Visually it's a 10/10, but it didn't have the dreary tone of the manga. I think Monster's animation perfectly captured the tone of the manga with its desaturated colors and its use of grainy animation. Pluto looked a bit too shiny

The animation, though not to my liking was great, but the music was amazingly bland, to the point that I preferred scenes with characters just talking without any bgm, over the ones where any OST was playing

Overall, it is Urasawa, so they'd have to have tried really hard to fuck it up, lol. It is a great adaptation, better than what 95% of manga out there get.

I enjoyed it when I used to, now i just dont. If I atleast enjoy it for 6 months thats a win. But something would just never replace the investment that we do. So even if I buy some merches and after 4,5 years i would have to throw it I would throw it mercilessly. The enjoyment it would give for sometime might replace the investment that I do.

The thought of giving attention to the lyrics doesnt comes until I realize its time to give my attention to the lyrics. Also I would not understand all of the lyrics in my first listen, if its an english song. I would need to see the lyrics or read it. Firstly, I just listen to the music. If I like it more than anything else I would give my time to anything the music has to offer and everyone involved in the production. The melody, sound, vibe is the first thing I mind. For anime it may differ tho. In this site you cant give your review until youve seen 3 episodes but I think 3 episodes arent enough for some animes, while for some just 1 episode is enough to judge it. Incase of music just listen till the end. There are some songs that I skip all the way to mid just because it gets better at the mid, and some are better for 1 minute, and I just listen till 1 minute of it.

I did play COC, CR, PUBG when they were on hype, cuz there were friends who played too, these days or rather few years before pandemic I stopped having interest for games. Maybe after 2019, I did play PUBG in 2019. These days just randomly download few offline games once in a while. I only use mobile for calls and reading manga these days.

I have never owned any kind of merch, expect for 2,3 and I would love to experience that feeling as well. I had wallpaper of friend from 20th century boys and every once in a while it reminded me of the song in that manga, and I still listen to it once in a while. I like how schizo is getting more and more recognition and even reached the anime. If you remember, I would say the last girl's story was kinda better than the earlier one's. It was less sexual compared to others. The brother sister story was trash af, an episode was like just 4 minutes but felt like an hour. First impression was good ngl, but I would say 3.5 or 4 lmao.

I cant even imagine myself doing interviews if some youtube guy asks me to do it. For me anime, movies, songs, mangas are same I would say and not same in a comparision way. I watched anime, movies, listened to songs, read mangas at the same time. If I stop watching anime it means I stop watching movies too. I watched and consumed everything when I had time. Now I dont have much time and neither watch any shows or listen to music. I watched series, animes, movies, read at the same time. Even with 500 completed animes I still watched hundreds of movies and series, read plenty of mangas and listened to songs. Its all same for me.
