Hello Foka! It's been a while since we last talked, how have you been?

I just wanted to let you know that I finished KoiAme and that I really enjoyed it ^^ Here are a few of my impressions:

It was a pleasant surprise that Tachibana confessed so early in the story. Considering how romance stories usually go, I was expecting more of a build-up before that happened.

Also, I was kind of relieved to see that they did not end up together. I know that many people believe that age doesn't matter in love, but she was just seventeen years old. I feel like it would have been weird as she (and anyone around that age) didn't know better. It was very cute though. I also liked how the manager eventually realized he had feelings for her but didn't act on it. Correct move, my guy.

The only thing that annoyed me a little is how Kondou always complained and complained about old age, even though he was in his forties. I would've understood if he was late fifties and so on, but bruh. You are not a youngster anymore, but you're not a grandpa either.

In general, I liked how the author took the time to deepen the characters and I was very fond of the art style. I also enjoyed how the rain was tied with Tachibana's character and the melancholic vibe she was constantly giving. The way they both reenacted with their hobbies during the final chapters left me satisfied as well. The ending felt a little bit rushed, but nothing extreme.

I wouldn't say I'm surprised. Although I have somewhat mixed feelings for her because she still hasn't appeared on my Rhodes Island after multiple pulling attempts, Exu is indeed awesome. As for me, you probably saw already, but my favorite operators are Angelina and Ceobe.
By the way, I saw you have a maxed out Silence as a support unit, and for that, I have to appreciate your taste.

Other than Arknights, I play Fate/Grand Order, but lately I'm just logging in for the rewards.

I have a weird relationship with Nier:Automata. I tried playing it a few years ago but I was pretty much a noob and died multiple times on the tutorial boss. Thing is, if you die there, you have to replay the entirety of the tutorial up to that point (which was roughly 45 minutes iirc) and I easily get bored so I eventually ended up quiting. I'm sure that it has a wonderful story though :)

Hello Foka! I hope the new year has been treating you great so far.
As you may remember after seeing my username, I am the person that you gave a manga recommendation through the Secret Santa event this year :3

I just wanted to let you know that although I found your manga recommendation very interesting, I haven't started reading it yet for two reasons: I was a little busy these past few weeks due to work and the holiday season, and also because I am currently reading a different manga and I want to focus at one at a time, most of the time at least.
I will get to it very soon, possibly within this week.

As for KoiAme in general, I had heard about it in the past mostly because I love Aimer and the ending song of the animated version is sung by her (wonderful song by the way). I never thought about reading the manga version of it, but after researching it a bit, the art is great and the story *although a bit weird, not gonna lie* does pique my interest.

I'll let you know my impressions after I read it, very soon. Thanks a lot again, for your thoughtful gift <3
