Both series feature human and non-human characters bonding. What starts out as a work related relationship slowly develops into love. The manner in which the MC's are there for their girls by teaching them, easing their fears or by being supportive in general gave me similar vibes. It's pretty emotional in a sweet way. Unfortunately their days are numbered which causes anxiety and tension. Another aspect both series have in common. Plastic Memories felt a bit more light hearted and colorful overall. That was primarily due to the setting that offered more opportunities for a change of pace and the supporting cast that lifted up the mood. However, if you like dramedy, cute waifus, wholesome moments and bittersweetness then you will surely like either of these.
