Just started uni, I am absolutely swamped with assignments (why does engineering even need papers due every week?...) besides that, a few exams coming up and lots to study for

Woah really? The director is different for each? That's definitely and interesting aspect; I haven't found a show that did that before. A protagonist with his own sense of righteousness and justice definitely is a plus. Most MC are just archetypical and not very interesting since the audience can predict what happens.
You said there's also colorful animation. Are scenes filled with a lot of different colors? I'm thinking in comparison to Mononoke. lol I'm always looking for scenery porn.

I agree with that statement. I've seen Paprika but not Paranoia Agent yet but Paprika didn't sit too well with me because of the hinted (more like forced to me) romance at the end. The disorienting factor is what I love about Perfect Blue too XD. Plus the aspect of DID; I am completely sold for Perfect Blue. XD
What's good about 18if? I'm neutral to the show right now but I am following it; just waiting to binge watch a few episodes. I rarely ever follow seasonally for anime but I figured it's a good chance to try it out now XD.

Yeeessss Perfect Blue. I love that movie. Tell me what you think after you finish it. I'm trying to watch 21 series this season which I have never tried before but what the heck? it's the summer before uni! Might as well. Besides that, finishing KonoSuba right now.

Do you think Renai Boukun is worth starting? And is Sakurada Reset really that bad? I was hoping to start it after it's done airing ^^;
I'm watching a few shorts right now (sekai no yami zukan, Love Kome, Kenka Otome) and then the normal lengths Bastard Instructor and Busou shoujo. Currently just trying to catch up on the previous season.

I think I'll watch Renai Bouken as it airs then. I don't know what to do for clockwork Planet, watch while airing or binge it later. I feel like I'll read reviews and soil myself or something if I binge it later and I might lose interests; don't want that. What's your reason for waiting?

Excited for Tsuki ga Kirei, might look into Sakurada Reset (it looks interesting), the bastard magic instructor(although I don't have too high of hopes) and clockwork planet. From the synopsis of Renai Boukun it doesn't sound too good, but what is your opinion?
