Development:
Take two Characters, spiritual powers, spiritual monsters, aliens, sexuality, weirdly cool fights and very bizarre art angles put them together and you have is work.
This work resembles a bizarrely cool fusion of:
Bleach + Noragami + Mob Psycho 100 + JoJo Bizarre adventure
Script:
...
The work focuses on two characters who come together out of sheer bad luck to fight evil beings, spirit monsters and aliens (yes, that's right!). We can see a very acid comedy, criticism of sexuality and Character development.
The fights are as bizarre as the manga already shows, so expect plenty of "Dude, what am I reading?" moments. This is not bad, in fact it is very good!
Art:
Art done by Yukinobu TATSU, a.k.a Yukinobu RYUU, assistant to Tatsuki Fujimoto (Chainsaw man), that is my friends, the art of this "assistant" demonstrated that he is on the same level as many classic manga masters.
Very well drawn and beautiful characters, very bizarre monsters that remind a lot of Junji Ito's monsters, but in a version with distorted angles.
The manga excels in the use of many curved angles, it can be in the environments, in the monsters or in the movement. The use of this resource makes the work very bizarre, an experience that gives a psychedelic air to the work.
At certain moments you feel strangely enveloped by these bizarre angles.
Certainly, this art is bizarrely and strangely engaging!
In summary:
A very fun work to read, its strangeness is what draws the most attention, its art is something that jumps to the eyes, the fights are very unique and funny, the author knew how to make a very good junction between the Comic, bizarre, strange and non-sense, without losing the tone at any time.
You can be sure, if the author continues with this quality, this work will easily be among the main manga in the future.

A critique of the entire work and its ending:
(SPOILER)
The author removed the titans and replaced them with wars, giving the idea that he threw the whole plot in the trash without giving a better ending to the work.
The Vision of Eren's future because of the titan, it's because of these ideas that I think the author really didn't follow the original idea of survival and took it to a more "time travel" side.
I really like Chrono Trigger, but from the very beginning of the game's plot, it makes it clear that it will address the "time travel" theme and we accept this naturally,
...
but in the case of Attack on Titan, why to me does it sound as if the author has forced this theme into the work? It is not very natural for this to happen or to appear in a work where the premise was "survival".
Gods and mythology I even understand, because there would be no scientific explanation for it. This theme pleases me, I liked being approached and giving a more divine (or demonic) air to the work.
To me, having given such an important role to Mikasa and Eren, is very convenient to do and sounds like laziness from the author in not having done something more developed. Unless: It is portraying a cycle that repeats itself from generation after generation of a couple who are stuck in that kind of fatality or choice of fate.
If not, it sounds very "lazy".
In the end, I still possess in my mind the original identity of the series that I saw in the first season:
Men vs. Titans
For me, the series ended there and I am glad I didn't see anything else.
You can complain about me for only having seen the 1st season and complain about the development and the ending, but keep in mind that the series started with the clear idea that it would be about "Survival", because of that, the author would approach other subjects that were not linked to this main theme, it's his decision and I'm only portraying my opinion.

Development:
The story takes place after a landmark event in the lives of the main characters, which lead them into an unusual situation, the main female character kidnaps and holds the male character captive.
Script:
Despite showing a certain shocking event in the beginning of the work, it develops, addresses and deepens in some points such as:
Loneliness, submission, control, conformism, Escapism, self-analysis, suicide, empathy and apathy.
We can observe an analysis and construction of character, focusing on both parts that are opposite to each other, an empathic being and an apathetic being. We can see a behavioral study on how people with different personalities relate to each other
...
and how each individual shapes and interferes in their way of living.
In addition, the main character wants to be a writer. The work in question was created by NISIO Isin, who is known for his famous novels, with this in mind, when we see certain passages that deal with the theme "Writing stories or being a writer", we can interpret it as a form of auto biography and/or a psychological self-analysis of the author himself, and also a criticism of the theme.
Art:
The art of the characters is quite simple, occurring only the use of simple lines and light and shadow games.
The art used in the environments is also very simple, not occurring the use of great ambiences. I think that this use of simpler art is to give more focus to the script.
The great use of closed environments and darker colors are to transmit the sensation of loneliness, giving a more depressing feeling to the work.
Summary:
A different work than usual that has as the focus social relationships between two opposites, a good work for those who want works with psychological content or focused on intrapersonal and interpersonal relationships.

Observation:
My review has the same value for the manga as for the anime, because both are equal in events and character development.
The anime follows the exact same events and character development as the manga, so I consider it the same work.
Development:
An Isekai... Yes, we're already crowded of all kinds and I also know that in most cases it's cliché and repetition of other subjects already covered, but what makes this work unique?
We've already started the work by seeing the death of a 34-year-old run over neet when he was trying to save a stranger on the street and reincarnate in a baby in
...
a world of fantasy and magic. Having this new life in hand and possessing great intelligence and power, now he tries not to repeat his past life and tries to be someone better.
Despite this great power, he now not only deals with magic, but also with his relationship with other people and a new world.
Script:
It is not an isekai that abuses the formula "super powerful character", we can see the growth of the main character, his relationship with other people, how these same people can be friendly, but at the same time perverse, disgusting, perverted and manipulative, as the world is cruel and overwhelming. What makes the work unique is that even if the character has great powers, this does not help at all since there are much more powerful beings. Which yields distressing scenes and conflicting events.
The work demonstrates in a splendid and overwhelming way that even though you have been reborn as a powerful being, you are still a nobody and it only yields to you to change that.
Art:
A simple art that knows how to balance the beautiful and the heavy. We can feel the emotions through every trace. Backgrounds and cities are always very well designed, games of light and shadow are well used in serious scenes and softened in comic scenes.
Moreover, we can see time passing by and each character aging, thus following the steps of psychological growth of the character.
Summary:
A work that makes you forget that it is Isekai, in fact it seems that the author of the work wants to distance himself from that, since the characters are so well worked, the conflicts and the events are so striking that make the isekai theme desapear. I can say that as I've been reading it I realize that "Isekai" has been used more as an excuse to attract the public to a very well written and elaborate story.
With that in mind, I strongly recommend this work if you like more High Fantasy themes with a more serious and conflicting story, with great characters and full of personal and intra-personal development.
For me, one of the best works I have ever read in my life!

Development:
The work portrays the life of Sakamoto, an ex-hitman, living with his family in a normal life, working peacefully in a convenience store and having his common routines, a typical Japanese life, isn't it? Well... Not really.
The humor of this work revolves around the comic events that involve Sakamoto and his family, comic characters with extravagant personalities.
Pins of action and sometimes jokes with a slightly sadistic tone, in this case with murders, deaths and torture.
Script:
It's very simple, focuses on Sitcom style humor - slide of life and action. Most of the comedy happens in the action parts of the main character
...
in unusual situations resulting in action scenes. The actions are well written, most of the time enhancing the main character's abilities and the great use of mirabolic situations.
ART:
The art is very simple in relation to the anatomy and physiognomy of the characters, sometimes reminding the art style of Fujimoto Tatsuki (Chainsaw man).
For having a simple art in the characters, the settings stand out more, showing in great part the places and their inhabitants.
This simplicity also helps to highlight the comic script of the work.
Summary:
If you like works that use the spy and hitman genre with Spy x Family and Mr. & Mrs. Smith humor, this work will please you a lot. The comedy is very well written, fluid, sometimes sadistic humor, also with exact pinches of action.

Development:
A story based on Hindu culture, using the god Arjuna (Sanskrit: अर्जुन, arjuna) and Himalaya (probably referring to Himavat or Himaraja) as the basis for its main characters, there are also quotes to other gods and entities of Hindu culture.
The story blends a bit of Hinduism, shounen, monsters that remind a lot of the creatures of Shadow of the Colossus (Ps2 game), a bit of gore, action and betrayal.
The characters are charismatic, the same ones that make you laugh, also make you fear. Duality is something to be appreciated.
It's wonderful when a story tries to bring or use cultures from our world to
...
create original and innovative stories, it's becoming an aspect of this kind of movement, which besides entertaining us, also teaches us the history of global cultures.
Script:
A story that comes out of the shounens, betrayal, hero hunt for acceptable reasons, intrigue, betrayal, philosophical dialogues and good deed.
As the manga is being released, we can expect the use of many Hindu quotes, philosophical dialogues and revelations of a resentful past.
Continuing this step of good quality, we can have a new "historical-based" shounens of good quality.
ART:
An art with simple traits that make clothes and monsters stand out more than the characters themselves.
The details imposed on the monsters and clothes make the eyes jump of details, also add the beautiful landscapes, beautiful palaces that their luxurious interiors against the decadence of poor and finished places, a flexible and beautiful art.
The art of characters is very simple, so simple that it does not seem that each one has a singularity or personalities, which has creativity in landscapes, lack in art of character production.
Summary:
As said before, if the quality of the script continues to improve, using the Hindu culture as a base, which is gigantic and rich in culture, the characters continue to have development and being charismatic we may soon have one of the great shounens of this generation.
Let's hope to continue improving.

Development:
In short, the work can be summarized as follows:
Onepunchman + Pacific Rim = Kaiju N°8
We can see a lot of traces of both works mentioned above inside Kaiju N°8: A weak and lazy main character who wants to be a hero, giant monsters that destroy the city, a paramilitary group of extermination and protection against monsters, a group of rational monsters that want to destroy humans and of course a hero that kills the monsters with ONE blow.
But does this mix of works make Kaiju n°8 bad?
Of course not, she is good.
...
Script:
As mentioned in the development, we can clearly see the author's inspirations in these works and unlike many, the same try to be innovative as much as possible.
The main character, despite being weak and lazy, even comes to be negative about himself, is aware of this and with the help of a witty helper tries to be a better person and follow his dream.
(Although this part was done very quickly, we can reveal this by being a Shounen)
The paramilitary troop has its strong points like not giving value to the newbies and focusing on killing the monsters.
Monsters are dangerous and destructive, but like all shounen, they are easily defeated and sometimes are really dangerous as they should be.
The relationship between characters and development, are being made slowly, is almost imperceptible due to the speed that the actions happen.
Because of this speed, some actions and relationships are made abruptly and almost meaningless.
The fights are well done as a good Shounen should be, mix this with a good dose of humor and a good amount of positivism.
(I would like to make an addendum, the transformation of the main character from negative to positive was very fast, this transformation was very unnatural).
Art:
The characters are well designed with simple lines, without much detail for their features, the anatomy is very basic and has almost no outstanding characteristics for each character, apart from hair and beard, but apart from that, nothing new.
The monsters are very interesting, a humanoid blend with monstrosities, are ugly, deformed and sometimes a deformed junction of animals with plants.
The kaiju N.8 for having a humanoid body, its anatomy is well designed making it stand out from everything around it, the face in mask style was clearly made to become a symbol. Which is nice.
Summary:
fights, captivating characters, an average script and pleasant fights.
Do not read expecting a brilliant script with plotwists, because it is a classic shounen.
A temporary diversion that by the looks has a potential to become one of the great Shounens of today.
Turn off your brain and have fun!

Interesting characters, original history, extremely beautiful art, BUT misused and badly executed script.
Reasons:
Because it is a story that takes place in the past and the protagonist is extremely intelligent, it creates from scratch the current technologies, so far so good, it is interesting, but the script pushes this idea to the limit making each chapter (manga) and each episode (anime) boring with each new discovery/ideia in all, exactly, all episodes.
It looks like they are pushing the main arch away, because of that it causes spaces between mini-archs and main arch.
Although they introduce new characters, they give a lot of importance to it and they waste
...
time giving each one a arch and again, they push everything, a lot of the times this doesn't contribute to the progress of the script.
If you have the patience not to lose interest because of this, it's a good request.
But even when they explain the main arch, it shows a lack of complexity and script preparation, thus making everything very shallow and cliché.
As I said at the beginning, for all these reasons, you can summarize Dr. Stone:
"A history of modern society's growth in prehistory misused"
It had everything to be good, good art, original history and innovative ideas, but they have a terrible screenwriter.

Development:
The story takes place on the old Disboard, when all races were at constant war. Because of this calamitous situation, Riku, together with humanity plot against all the kingdoms to put an end to this limitless slaughter. Whatever it takes.
Script:
It covers the mythology created in the original work, expands the concepts of war and conflict between the races, shows both the horror and fear that war brings upon all peoples in a more mature and serious way. It distances itself from the comic and joyful tone of the original work. We can say vulgarly, a Seinen form of NGNL.
...
Art:
It is undeniable that the art of NGNL is wonderful, in this adaptation only raised the level further. They added more dynamics to the work, added effects to the spells, the games of light and shadow give a heavier content to the work. And of course, when colors occur it's a delight to the eyes.
Summary:
As said before, it's a more adult anime, having heavier themes and a dirtier tone, it's not a happy anime, so go prepared to leave the anime devastated or at least thoughtful. It is not mandatory to have attended the first work, since it sustains itself. A wonderful work that demonstrates the fine art of maturation. One of the best prequel/Spin-Off in a series I have ever seen.
