I feel horrible, I dropped off the face of the earth for an entire month I'm so sorry my friend. Life sure gets hectic at times but that's not really respectable (╥_╥) I hope you didn't miss me too much ( ̄▽ ̄)ゞ
That's really cool! I love when people find niche things that they really love and then they can turn into their job, rooting for you!!!
I just had a test on the national economy so I'm at least a little bit familiar with the subject. But turning around the market and making jobs sure is a hard thing hopefully it will get better in the future, but it's so hard to tell )):
We never speak really about Brazil in school either, there are so many places in the world where you really have no clue what is going on, it's slightly concerning.
I really love Sweden I feel so fortunate that I was born here, my life would be so different if we lived anywhere else in the world, Sweden's government is really nice towards their young citizens with free education, free health and dental care, school supplies until you are 15 and free lunch at school. Out taxes are pretty high, which people have conflicting opinions on, but I'm glad.
How is with these things in Brazil? again I don't really know, tell me a little bit about Brazil and how it is living there (人´∀`).☆.。.:*・°
I'm like 90% certain I'm going to go to university, the problem is that I'm super conflicted by what I want to read. At least I have a year to decide but I feel like that is not nearly enough time. I'm mostly into psychology or maybe the books publishing business? but there is not really a good course for that. What are you interested in? have you decided yet? ☆
Really? that's pretty cool, Brazil is such a huge country so I'm not surprised, a lot of people to put to work (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧
Swedish is such a tiny language that we definitely don't have any luxuries like that, for me personally it's fine as my reading speed in English actually is better than my Swedish since I read so much in English, that is slightly sad but still useful (`•ω•´๑)
Are you a studious person? I really wish I were but I always been so easily distracted, trying my best tho ╥﹏╥
Yep, me too, I feel like I've been reading BL manhwa and manga more than anything these past couples of months but I don't own any physical copies of any of the series I enjoy. I mostly like manhwas tho and they don't really come in English book form. That is why Lezhin and Mangago are the most beautiful things we have, I wonder where would I be without them? (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
I'm pretty picky with which friends I borrow my books too, some just can't be trusted (¬、¬)
I used to be really into sci-fi but I think I sadly fell out of love with the genre for some reason?
In my city we have an amazing library system, 23 libraries working together and sending books between themselves so the budget and inventory is amazing they will buy any book, comic or manga if you ask so I love and use the library a lot but I read online as well when I feel cheap and lazy ┐(゚~゚)┌
No, I borrowed it, I would like to continue on but I can't find it for a justifiable price anywhere so expensive (≖︿≖✿)
Yeah, I understand, hope he got a good deal some old comics are really expensive, my dad has mentioned that he has a collection in his basement but I'm not really certain we don't live together or close by. Wonder if Swedish comics have any worth lol.
My shelf mostly consist of fantasy and contemporary novels, I'm a reader first and weeb second (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧
You know the library, you get the borrow the books for a month or so and then return them, but it is free ┐(´∀`)┌
There is one, however, there are no cutscenes in the mobile one so assume that is kind of what you pay for when you buy the full version.
I've read the first comic in the series so I kinda get what the storyline is about??
I'm such a cheapstake I get almost all my manga (and comics) from the library (´∀`•)
I'm not that good at explaining things but as long as you got it ┐(´∀`)┌
I think he is an anti-hero just like Deadpool yes!
I only ever played the mobile injustice game since that was free, saving all the money (ง •̀ω•́)ง✧
Oh me too, but the whole Shazam thing is super shady ┐(゚~゚)┌
Apparently, they thought he was a copy of Superman and filed a lawsuit and gained the character?
But it was not from Marvel comics, but Fawett comics that had to shut down after the ordeal.
Shazam was originally called Captain Marvel, but DC was also sued for that name as Marvel also has a character called Captain Marvel (that coincidentally also comes out this year?) so they changed the name to what he calls out to become a superhero??
I'm excited tho, shady history aside. He was a side character in the animated series Young Justice and that is all I've seen of him
But who doesn't enjoy a good origin story? (^∀^)
That is actually very interesting, I've never really thought about that.
DC has a ton of people who have no powers what so ever like Batman, Green Arrow, and Nightwing but the one who do have powers have very legendary and mythological powers as you said.
I also can see why that makes Marvel more appealing because in some ways their powers gains are almost ''logical'' like
Getting bit by spider > becomes spiderman
or
Getting injected with stuff > Becomes Captain America
Interesting (^^ゞ
I think you actually are the first one to understand, warms my heart (ღ˘⌣˘ღ)
All my friends prefer Marvel and they don't really see my arguments as they only watch the movies (and probably only the Marvel movies)
I like giving both a chance but I still know in my heart what I enjoy and what impresses me the most, also I'm not a big movie person
I love the Batman games! all the Arkham ones are great ☆.。.:*・°
