Hello! I'm Rose Faerie!

I love shoujo manga, and I am an avid reviewer on Anilist. My favorite series ever is Yona of the Dawn.

I got into anime starting with Pokémon and Studio Ghibli works as a very small child. I think Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun, K-ON!, and Little Witch Academia were the series that got me into anime outside of the random kids' shows I watched. However, I think I owe it to Fruits Basket, Yona of the Dawn, and Sailor Moon to shaping my tastes the most. They were what got me into shoujo, bit by bit.

I like reading almost all genres, but I prefer to avoid mecha and ecchi. I also think I prefer manga over anime, since I enjoy reading more than watching TV.

Outside of anime and manga I really love to read and write. I mostly write fantasy novels, and I love to read almost all genres. I think the genres I read the most of are mystery and fantasy. I also like to draw, and I would like to adapt a shoujo influence in my works.

Rating System-
10- An absolute favorite, which I consider the height of fiction or am too obsessed with to see the flaws of.
9- I really loved it, just not as much as the 10's.
8- I had so much fun with it.
7- It's solid but has noticeable weak points. It didn't stop me from enjoying it though.
6- It's decent and I understand its' merit, it just wasn't for me. Just something didn't click for me, even though it was enjoyable.
5- Average. I think I usually give this rating to things I find boring.
4- Bad, but not the worst it could be. Usually has some redeeming qualities.
3- Straight up bad.
2- No. Just no.
1- I think I will perish.

My ratings are usually based on enjoyment, and I know they tend to skew high. I tend to enjoy a lot of things. However, I really enjoy reading and watching stuff I know is bad and I'll hate on purpose. I don't know why I'm like that though. ;-;

Anyways, I am not as active on MAL, and sometimes forget about it. (Anilist is where I normally am.) However, I'd be more than willing to make friends.
