Yeah, whole point of Aincrad arc was to build up their relationship, so there wasn't many fighting. And I think there weren't many thing cut out(at least in Aincrad arc), and if they were then they weren't really important. Only important cut outs I can remember are that anime didn't explain how did players go to hospital w/out getting killed and how did Asuna get into the SAO, other than that it stayed true to the LNs.

Yuuki's death also really hit hard, that scene where all Alfheim players get together around that tree where were Yuuki and Asuna😔.

Yup, I agree about Alicization being best in terms of quality(animation, characters, sound etc...)

Same for me, I also didn't like GGO at first, mostly bcs it was a shooting game, but at least we got Sinon :D, and I think Death Gun was great villain.

I would say I love all arcs equally with Aincrad and Alicization having slight advantage.

Either Aincrad arc or Alicization arc. But I prefer Aincrad, mostly because Kirito's and Asuna's relationship, it was great but I wish it was longer, at least 1 season even tho i think there could easily be 2-3 seasons of Aincrad arc.

I also really liked Mother's Rosario, it was really emotional, but Eugeo's death in finale of Alicization also hit really hard😔 .
